Sorry for inconvenient due to slow front-end. The issue should be solved now. We have reconfigured rules on cloudflare.

For your second problem, difficulty of GBX went up the last few days. Moreover you should take into account the pool luck. So you should make your calculation on a longer period.

But I propose you to send us your wallet id so we can analyse the situation.

Sure thing, here you go:

Hi,

We improved the website accessibility few hours ago, you'll see an enhancement.

About earnings, I had a look at your address, payments are fine. I agree that earnings depends on the network difficulty but it also depends on pool luck. We improved pool wallet connectivity and other aspects but pool luck also depends on probability. In theory, on long term, all pools with the same configuration and fee should give the same earnings.

PS: Unimining fee is 0.5% and not 5% as you mentioned previously.

Have a nice mining

Yeah the earning has gone up now, it was around 1 before, now I'm getting about 1.35 GBX now which is still a bit less than what I should be earning (~1.5) but I'm fine with that. You have a great pool, keep up the good work.
I set the fee at 5% because I have 3 miners, so 3x0.5% and 3x1% (I thought dev fee is 1% on EWBF miner) which adds to 4.5%. However I checked today and dev fee on EBWF is 2%, so it's actually 7.5% total.

EWBF is for equihash, not for nescrypt isn't it ? GBX is neoscrypt coin, so i don't understand.

Hi,

I think that EWBF can also be used to mine neoscrypt. But I'm not using it so I'm not sure.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1707546.msg19367311#msg19367311

Where did you saw that EWBF could mine neoscrypt in this post ? Could you quote exactly the line code ?

I post an answer in french in your french forum :
https://forum.unimining.net/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=205&p=308#p308

Please try to really diagnoze and change TCP port for testings in first time, it seems that TCP 4236 Port have many utilization if i look at google request.
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b&ei=JVFVWoKiEIOdsgGwqKmQAg&q=TCP+port+4236+utilisation&oq=TCP+port+4236+utilisation&gs_l=psy-ab.3...28523.29251.0.30881.4.4.0.0.0.0.157.511.0j4.4.0....0...1c.1.64.psy-ab..0.0.0....0.ByomcxmZUGk

I propose 4232 or 4240 if you wwant to stay in this port range of 4230-4250

183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [UniMining.net] UniMining yiimp Mining Pool 0.5% mining fees on: January 09, 2018, 05:51:31 PM
So , i see i'm not the only one to have some problems with mining GBX on pool.unimining.net:4236.

May be, you are out of sync from the Gobyte blockchain , or there are NAT / PAT errors in your firewalls and routers. But the nonces are no longer sent by the server and so, we can not send any more hashs or shares.

Please repair your server and/or really diagnose this GBX pool problem.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: January 08, 2018, 11:55:16 PM
Hello mining community, I have built a 13 GPU mining rig which currently only has 5 GPU's installed (4 1070's and 1 1080 TI). I am running NVOC V0017. My machine appears to be mining but when I login to CoinMine.pl it is not registering a hash rate at all and there is no currency going into the wallet address. I've attached some screenshots. I am a newbie so bear with me here! Thanks in advance. https://imgur.com/a/RFdZN

Read the readme ath this webpage :
https://github.com/papampi/nvOC_by_fullzero_Community_Release

And download + install nvOC-v0019-2.0 after you had backup your 1bash file. Most improvments. You'll need 30-45 min to report your several 1bash parameters but thi is not lost time. ANd you'll be updated for the next update script.

Change pool if you have doubt about coinmine.pl
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: January 08, 2018, 09:29:24 PM
I had the WTM switch working well with the new nice hash algo adds. I seen it switch sucessfully a few times between  a few no troubles. I added some other coins seen them switch successfully. Now it seems when I have WTM switch on I'm getting a bash home/m1/2unix terminating error and terminal restarts miner looks like its about to start mining and nothing happens rinse repeat. I have it single coin mining right now but wondering whats wrong. I noticed the changes had some NICE- not NICE_ changes, anything off there? Also noticing its changing my COIN= to "NICE" not NICE_EQUIHASH or any others

Look at here

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1854250.msg27183130#msg27183130

@papampi

I already reported this pb filtering in the python script with a dash ( -) instead of an underscore( _ ).
I was told that if I did that I would have problems. But I had no pb until nicehash closed following their $ 65 million stealing deal!

I put the changes on the carpet recently, and it worked until the pools rejected my sharing from one hour to another. I opened a ticket at home but like all pools, exchanges and many other instances of the crypto world, they are overwhelmed, I guess.

I have deactivated nicehash for the moment and I am waiting to know by the end of the month when will they give me my little 60 kSAT "magot".
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.3 on: January 08, 2018, 12:50:46 AM
Is there a simple command to update xorg? I think this is the solution to my driver/temp control problems.

this will generate one that enables most features

Code:
sudo nvidia-xconfig --enable-all-gpus --cool-bits=31
for normal gpus

Code:
sudo nvidia-xconfig --enable-all-gpus --cool-bits=12
for P106_100s

My guess is your problem is related to the P106_100s and normal GPUs working best with different coolbits settings.  Hard to know without one of those to test with.

hey just wondering if anyone can help? A puzzle for someone....
I have 12 x1080's and have always had an issue wth the auto temp/fan speed for the 12th (GPU 11). Anyways, since I updated to the NVOC in dec to nvOC-19-2-update (by_fullzero_unofficial), it has mined anything no issues. and the only thing was as I mentioned..

Suddenly the end of December it constantly crashes on Equihash on both ZM and EWBF. The error was always that GPU 11 was lost. Anyhow, after some digging I found that in the Nvidia X Server Settings for GPU 11 the box was not there to tick for the fan speed.

After some more digging I found that in the etc/X11/xorg.conf file, the GPU 11 was not set correctly. It is in pci slot 18, and in the Section "Device" it only went up to PCI-17.

I did as in the quote  sudo nvidia-xconfig --enable-all-gpus --cool-bits=31 and that didnt work either (so had to restore original), but it did give me all the correct pci locations of the GPU devices, so I have updated the xorg.conf  with the relevant pci settings.

Now the  auto temp/fan speed errors have gone and the tick box appears in Nvidia X Server Settings for GPU 11 .

But, it still crashes on Equihash, it says
"Unable to determine the device handel for GPU 0000:1200.0 GPU is lost."
I  updated NVOC on the 4th JAN to the nvOC v0019-2.0 - community release. Any suggestions anyone?

Also, why does my  etc/X11/xorg.conf file say Im using 1050's when I am using 1080's? Does it even matter?

I do not know if you have updated from version 0019-1.4 to version 19-2.0 with papampi scripts.

If so, is it possible for you to try to use the latest papampi image from the links we just posted and apply the latest updates from papampi.

Of course, you will not forget to save your current system with HDDrawCopy or diskdump (dd) for example, in another medium.

I had problems with version 19-1.4 too. not of this type, but I have a month since I installed the 19-2.0 and repared the disk by adding swap. I know it has nothing to do with the problem you are describing
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: January 08, 2018, 12:25:23 AM
Obviously you are able to choose a folder path.
Arguing about not creating a folder ? Seriously ?
I'm not writing this OS , I'm using it

The whole point of the few instructions I wrote is to not overwriting the original distribution file and to not overwrite the compiled version when updating

this will be the end for me about this, you don't like it don't use it. if you are a moderator remove it if you want, or ask someone to do it
Regards

So that's fine, you refuse to understand.

It's not about me but about the ones, all the others, who come to read here and those, the coders, who mainly write the lines of code.
Apparently, it is difficult for you to understand that if you propose something to the community it is because you want it to be taken into account or that you think it has to gain by following your contributions. which I do not dispute in any way contrary to what you seem to think.
BUT,
Since the first automated update script, your update may skip and / or make the code unreadable ... and therefore difficult to debug

Others have proposed code to add cryptocurrencies to be mined in nvOC, like Rumo, they simply took the model of what already existed without adding complication as you propose.

It's not about what I like or I hate, it's about not disperse any people who do not have the same facilities as you handle files and bash code on Linux systems. You seem to forget a bit quickly that a lot of readers here come from Windows and are not necessarily very comfortable on Linux, even on ubuntu.

By the way, you do not answer the fact that the compilation you propose is a windows compilation and that nvOC is a UNIX / LUNIX system!
as good as it works but without having checked your proposed link on my own machine, I think that without wine, it does not work. Otherwise, Why did you call it ccminer-windows when you know that ubuntu is Linux and KLaust also knows it?

I am not a moderator, and I dare to hope that you are mature and thoughtful and that instead of opposing you as a stubborn person, you will come to understand that it is only simplification in the short, medium and long term .

If you do not want to overwrite old files, simply rename and move the old folder before placing your own. According to your proposals, you know how to do with "mv".

In conclusion: SIMPLIFICATION for AUTOMATION
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: January 07, 2018, 09:51:47 PM
Finally I got it uploaded on my Gdrive :

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1B7NW7fj5MOWQRzIG_X4bO5FE-ZCfVvEK/view?usp=sharing

Checksum information for the zip file :

SHA256: 424124D5FC47F635947A266E151B48BC776BAFDA5C1A03A7708EAE73730AB3D5

Let me know if you guys are unable to download it, hope it works well for everyone Smiley

BTW @papampi its the same file from git's mega link.

Thanks @CryptAtomeTrader44 bruv, your file is also legit except it carries a different sha256 code. I've checked your image, looks absolutely fine, people can download either Smiley

Quote
it carries a different sha256 code.

I really don't know why because i've not modified anything from the original image.

For information i have the olders images files if someone wants them :

nvOC_v0019
nvOC_v0019-13
nvOC_v0019_1.4
nvOC_v0019-2.0

There is no versionning for KTccminer so feel free to place it wherever you want

We do not understand each other or you do it on purpose. I expect not.

I will rewrite what you should have proposed:

Code:
mkdir -p /home/m1/Downloads/miners/KTccminer
cd /home/m1/Downloads/miners/KTccminer
wget https://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/archive/windows.zip
unzip windows.zip
cd ccminer-windows
./build.sh
mv -R ccminer /home/m1/KTccminer

Do you understand that there is no -8.18 behind the name of your KTccminer directory? Just KTccminer and nothing else!
Do it on your machine if you want, but for reasons of simplification of nvOC management, your proposal is malformed.

In addition I wonder with your link that seems to indicate that it is a windows version, while nvOC works with Ubuntu, itself a branch of Debian LINUX
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: January 07, 2018, 09:23:13 PM
btw, I've noticed that the current 1bash does not use the fastest miner for VTC. Literally has 10mhs slower one. I guess ill have to change over to the miner i was using on my custom build by updating 0miner bash. and compiling the new miner too on this.

Which miner do you use ? Vertminer ? Alexs miner ? another one ?

191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [OS] nvOC easy-to-use Linux Nvidia Mining v0019-1.4 on: January 07, 2018, 08:03:02 PM
Anyone got a link on how to add new coins to the script? I assume just modify the 1bash and add the following conditional statements and varibles to match like the other coins for the appropriate miners installed.

If thats right anyone mind letting me know i guess ill find out the hardway soon enough.

It depends of you nvOC version too

Look at these posts  for nvOC v0019-2.0:

Salut,

I feel like a form of contradiction between these two messages:

On the unimining forum there is a section in French if you prefer French to English.

On one side, you invite me to go on the French forum, and on the other you inform me that your forum is slowed down by moderation because of attacks !

What do you mean exactly HuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuhHuh?

I will continue here, it seems to me faster.

Quote
All neoscrypt coins are mined in the same way.

Yes, I agree, I'm well aware and that's why I do not understand why GBX is denied me while TZC goes very well with the same software mining (Klaust ccminer 8.17)

Quote
If there is an error in a tutorial for the TrezarCoin we will correct it.

No, I did not mention an error in the tutorial TZC but in the GBX tutorial .
You write innova for port 4236 while this port is for GBX. Review your post well that I shared here.

I copy again from your forum :

Please don't mine other coins that GBX on port 4236 as it is dedicated to GBX. ....
....
On port 4233, you can mine all neoscrypt coins but port 4236 is dedicated ONLY for Innova.

I did not know what to understand by reading this, even if it was logical that it was inevitably a fright on your part in the text, I see that I can not undermine this port, and I've tried them all ports nothing to do.

I was rather pleased to mine on your pool so far, and I even posted your pool in my posts adding coin mining commands to the WTM and nvOC threads but I start to doubt.

    Dear miners,

Our neoscrypt stratum is under heavy load because there are many miners mining neoscrypt coins. If you encounter problems mining GoByte (GBX) on port 4233, please try to mine it on port 4236. The same GBX pool wallet is connected to both stratum (ports 4233 and 4236). Please don't mine other coins that GBX on port 4236 as it is dedicated to GBX.

On port 4233, you can mine all neoscrypt coins but port 4236 is dedicated ONLY for Innova.

    For nVidia cards (ccminer):

        ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4236 -u Your_GBX_Wallet_Address -p c=GBX --cpu-priority=3

For AMD cards, please refer to the thread "[nVidia] How to mine GoByte (GBX) ?" using port 4236 instead of 4233.

Under some conditions, the coin daemon of the pool becomes unreachable. Some miners noticed that under these conditions, some shares are going to another neoscrypt coin. It leads to small earnings in other coins but Yiimp performs a calculation to pay the miner as if he mined the correct coin.

In order to improve mining of GoByte coin (GBX), a hidden fall-back wallet of GoByte is present on the stratum dedicated to GBX (port 4236). If you are mining GBX on port 4233 and GBX wallet have a problem, your shares will go to another coin. But if you are mining GBX on port 4236 and GBX wallet have a problem, your shares will go to the hidden fall-back wallet of GoByte so you'll continue to mine GoByte and you'll be paid in GoByte. We prefer to keep the fall-back wallet hidden in order to redure confusion but we'd like to display it on our pool website when it will be possible and easy to understand what is going on.

For any problem, please report on:

Code: Select all

 /home/m1/KTccminer/ccminer -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4236 -u GTHXsFcNdiDkUxmyaddressmBBaUviBVMDB.MINER44 -p c=GBX -i 17

 /home/m1/KTccminer/ccminer -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4236 -u GTHXsFcNdiDkUxmyaddressmBBaUviBVMDB -p c=GBX

Just saw the new KTccminer version 8.18.
KT ccminer i way faster than SPccminer on neoscrypt at least

You can compile it, it's realy easy
In /home/m1
Code:
mkdir KTccminer-818
cd KTccminer-818
wget https://github.com/KlausT/ccminer/archive/windows.zip
unzip windows.zip
cd ccminer-windows
./build.sh
mv ccminer ../

Then change the path to your new
/home/m1/KTccminer-818/ccminer for neoscrypt coin in 0miner

For all other scripts, you must name folder KTccminer.
Nothing else like 8.17 or 8.18.
I find it very good to suggest things or improvements, but not everyone can bring their method every time without becoming a real long-term mess.
Do what you want on your personal miner, no problem, but adapt your commands to the convention already proposed online please

The last arrivals adapt. We all did it. You will do it too. It's easier for everyone and easier to manage

It's a namming convention that facilitating all readings.
does it bring more hashing this version to the fact?

OK adding a coin, but how is profitable to mine DSR Huh?

And i want to tell all that unimining.net had some saturation on neoscrypt pools. I tried to mine GBX at this pool and they can't provide me any blocks to mine.

in additions :

1/ I'm not sure that all of us have a folder named KTccminer-817 in /home/m1
2/ I think there is a "typing error" in the command line
Code:
-o stratum+tcp://$DSR_POOL:$DRS_PORT

Thanks for adding.

You 're right sorry for the typo,
A patch is the easiest way to do the modification, you don't even need to know where to put the lines in the patched file.
just do
patch -p0 < file_with_the_patch
fastest than anything

KTccminer 817 was posted few days ago here by Papampi
I don't know if this coin is profitable, I just want to mine some so made the modification and shared.

Code:
patch -p0 < file_with_the_patch

I just do not understand what it means.

That's right, but I do not know if you noticed that the main coders are trying to maintain a naming convention with a special method for updating minors.
For example, the latest update proposed by papampi included a script to update the DSTM or ZM software in several steps that I will briefly describe below:
1 / DL in the folder Downloads / miners
2 / creation in the zec / zm folder of a folder 5_8
3 / copy of the latest version in Dwonloads / miners in this folder 5_8
4 / copy to the latest folder of the necessary files in the folder / zec / zm / latest

Similarly, version numbers were not added to the first folder containing the minor for Klaust's software. AInsi, your naming proposal from KTccminer <VerNo> will cause problems for other people who do not have it in this form.
This can create confusion. Better to stay in the starting naming conventions otherwise every update will cause problems.

So I think it's best if the KTccminer8.17 path is written like this /home/m1/KTccminer/ccminer

EDIT :

@L4ncel0t
I know it's nasty but it's my opinion:
their web page gives an impression of sidereal emptiness

And then the proposed exchanges seem to me rather second area even unknown, except coinmarkets and still I'm skeptical about this exchange (less than Yobit anyway)

Is ZCL pool going to become BTCP pool after hard fork?
And If we have ZCL in our MPH wallet do we get BTCP after hard fork?

I also asked myself this question, and I think so, but there is also this case of BTCP fork of BTC. Because BTCP is a Bitcoin fork and a Zclassic Fork.

Last time, MPH paid in BTG, but I think it would be more productive to put them on platforms that will accept the fork. however, it seems that Btrex has not added anything for months and many others are overwhelmed by the magnitude of global demand growth.
Cryptopia can be and one or two other altcoins tradding specialist, but the BTCP page does not seem to indicate much to this porpos and their Wallet BTCP is planned for in a few hours.

Patience and Frastrations

Hello everybody, Hello @MiningPoolHub team,

2 questions:
- Is it possible to know the the ratios used to "normalized" the profit of each algo for Nvidia, and AMD ?
- Is it possible to set custom profitability ratio (in a similar way as Yiimp) ?
bump !
Can i have an answer ?

I think you'll have an answer if you explain with more details your questions.

Since apparently the Mega link of papampi poses problems of availability and complications due to the rules of this service to download version 19-2.0 of nvOC, I uploaded on an online file-saving service the file that contains the IMG

Here is the link:
http://dl.free.fr/hAWltP5uD

I did not test or check the download after uploading it.

Tell me if it is good or not.

NB: I live in France and this service is a very famous French provider (FREE), so it's written in French, but you only have to click on
