Is anyone intrested in 1337 staking pool?
I could run it if there is an interest, got some web architecture ready, but need more testing before going public (sad what happens to Inkha GP pool few days ago).
For now it could run similliar to B3 staking pool on google forms/discord.
Let me know guys Smiley

hmm this sounds cool.
How does staking pool work?

Hello Dev, I think you being Unfair..I signup for the LTCW AirDrop 1 and am a Bitcointalk Member since lastyear but am yet to see my precious token, tho I love the project and I signup for the new Round 2 but I will be more than Honor if you Compensate with some nice token and send my Round 1 token
My waves Address-3PJd***********************Lb7K
I wish you Success, Great Project Dev

btw it is not good idea to post your address in here.
I think it is against the forum rules, an usually for the airdrop they restrict that, as if many people post addresses in forum they delete the threat all together Wink
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ [LTCW] LiteCoinW | AIRDROP ROUND 2 LIVE ★★★ on: October 30, 2017, 09:45:02 AM
Happy with round 1 of the Airdrop

Now I have joined the second round. Good to see that you plan to make it dual token.

All good, but what will happen tot he token? How it will be controlled, as they will have no relevance to each other...
The price will be different and will be like BTC and BCH - two different tokens sharing the same name...
You should consider all this and figure a way to fix it.
Hope you have something in mind.
else it is a cool project and I like it.

as you most likely will lose it...

Way too fishy...
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][OAX] openANX - Real World Application of Decentralized Exchanges on: October 30, 2017, 09:17:35 AM
Has anyone else noticed very suspicious trading of OAX on the exchanges?

For example, take a look at trades on Binance over the last few hours. Every trade is below 200 OAX. Almost all trades are under 60 OAX, or between 150 and 190 OAX. Every trade is a sell.

Watch the market for a few minutes and you will see that a new buy order comes in just slightly higher than the current higher buy order. Then immediately a sell order matches it exactly.

Makes no sense - why are the orders so similar, and why is someone waiting to sell 150 OAX at 0.0012929 when they could sell for 0.0012925 immediately? Seems like market manipulation.

Hello hengar,
Thank you. Interesting observation. I will take a view and try to understand.
"Why is someone waiting to sell 150 OAX at 0.0012929 when they could sell for 0.0012925" - it seems the first price is higher than second.
Anyway I haven't my opinion on this situation. Should be researched and only then any conclusions can be made.
The official position of the OAX Foundation is not to comment on secondary markets.

In that example, yes the price of 0.0012929 is higher but than 0.0012925, but only very slightly. When the lowest sell order is at ~0.0014 price, then there is quite a big margin between buy and sell orders. So it does not make sense that someone would wait for the buy order to increase such a small amount, and then within 10 seconds of the buy order appearing to match it.

Of course, if it happens a few times, it is not suspicious but it is happening on almost every trade. Take a look at the last trades:

Every single one below 200 OAX, and an immediate sell as soon as a small buy order appears just above the buy price.

BTW, I am not blaming OAX here. It could be price manipulation from bagholders, or something suspicious on Binance. But either way, this is the biggest exchange for OAX, and it doesn't inspire much trust. (Which in itself is the very reason a DEX project OAX exists of course  Wink)

This all smells like someone is manipulating a bot.
Not sure if I do not see the action (as I don't have registration there I can't). But from what you say it is a bot that is trying to be firs, and someone pushing the bot up, so he can sell into it. As at some point the bot will be full and will stop to make orders on top then the seller will be able to buy back the amount sold for profit Wink
that is what probably is happening. The small amount is due to the fact that this kind of bots use small orders in order to average up/down the price depending on the market move...
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 1337 [MANDATORY UPDATE] 20.89% APR | POS ONLY on: October 30, 2017, 08:42:08 AM
I bought a few 1337. they are definitely worth it.

Great! Join our Discord https://discord.gg/np7BmKV and earn some more by playing games, helping others, responding to events etc.

This is a great idea, people can earn some 1337 coins just for playing games. I might have a few gamer's on Twitter who might be interested in this so I'll be letting them know. Slowly 1337 coin is growing, it all takes time and I'm confident that 1337 coin will be a great gaming coin in the near future.

Note: I just saw I pasted in an old chart, it should be for $5000 BTC price, not $4000.

It's good to remember one sat isn't what it used to be.  It's gone up 5x perhaps 10x since some of us started in this.

This is roughly correct, 1 cent equals 25 satoshis.

$4           =      .0010000  BTC
$2 (200 cents)   =     .00005000  BTC
160 cents   =     .00004000  BTC
80 cents   =     .00002000  BTC
8 cents      =     .00000200  BTC
1 cent equals         25 satoshis

So, if you're staking 500 1337 a day, that's about 20 cents, or $6 a month, and I think you can do that on about a $30 investment in 1337.

Nice work on calculations.

Just wanted to point out that your math is off.
you have put one 0 on the $2 it should be .0005, not .00005
so the final score is 1 cent = 250 satoshi (@ current price ($6128) it is 163 satoshi per cent)

Well im starting to think that nobody has recieved anything so far. Looks like another dead project Sad everytime this happens i ask myself why somebody would invest his time and effort to create in such a project and then just drops it...

I received my BTCG waves tokens, I am worried about the fact that dev has ceased to provide in this thread. He created a noise of 85 pages and nothing good will be right

w0w you are so lucky.

I have not received my coins...
Too bad that this seems like a dead end now...
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ [ANN][BTCG] BitcoinG | AIRDROP | (WAVES token) ★★★ on: October 25, 2017, 11:22:49 AM
Is this coin related to Bitcoin Gold that was create now?
I didn't get it.
Anyway, thanks for the 3k coins of BTCG.

Did you receive your tokens? mine are still missing Sad

And it has nothing in common with Bitcoin Gold "fork" on 25th....
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be too big to fail? on: October 25, 2017, 06:11:42 AM
After spending much time as a guest on this forum learning all I can about Bitcoin, I finally decided to join. Glad to be here and thanks for all the great advice along the way!

Now I have a question I'd like to ask. Is Bitcoin going to get to the point where it is too big to fail? The government bailed out Wall Street to avoid a financial collapse. Can Bitcoin gain the same status as Wall Street? The market cap is steadily increasing making it a big player in the game and I'm looking forward to where it is headed.

Thanks in advance!

It is BIG but it will never get "too big to fail" - this is something negative!
The main reason for that is it is too good to fail. It is so good that it will not fail Wink
So it will not need a bailout as WS needed...

I joined the airdrop. But making it a requirement to post here is against forum rules, isn't it?

I think this is so there will be no abuse of ranking.
Someone may register selecting accounts that are not theirs and thus requesting more then once the airdrop...
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ★★★ [ANN][BTCG] BitcoinG | AIRDROP | (WAVES token) ★★★ on: October 24, 2017, 08:07:23 AM
Is the airdrop here dead, has anyone lately gotten their tokens. I have not received mine and that seems to include most people here.

I think this is because of the fact that the airdrop has not yet started...
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What You Need To Know To Get FREE Bitcoin Gold During The Fork. on: October 24, 2017, 06:22:02 AM
Do we really have to put bitcoin on a desktop wallet or is it ok to just put it in jaxx?

Well the best will be to have them in 1 wallet (one address) but as the fork must have occurred already it is late. The good news is that jaxx provides private keys and you will just have to see where are the coins you have (in one wallet there or in several) and to take that private keys out.
The next step before obtaining your bitcoin gold is to move the BTC out of all wallets that you will expose private keys of to a new wallet.
The you use the private keys to access your gold.

BTW it is allays a good idea to check with public keys if you already have the gold in the new blockchain Wink
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Gold, Price Speculation on: October 23, 2017, 08:26:39 AM
Has the pre mine been confirmed? There seem to be conflicting ideas about when it forked.

Some are saying something happened at the start of this month which must be the pre mine phase if there is one.

Bitcoin gold is a  faillure and is a big scam if you ask me and people are realizing that when forks happen for people who want more money and power have no value in the end, why fork something when it is proven that people are using its duplicate just to cash and invest it in bitcoin itself again?
Also I highly agree on the fact that there is nothing clear about bitcoin gold, how many exchanges are listing it? when did the fork happen?
It is pre mined and therefore it is also not a respected coin if you ask me.

You say it is premined, but what do you mean? Are they not using snapshot of the BTC blockchain?
If so, is BCH as well premined?
as usually premined, means dev mined that, and in case of a snapshot it is just a clone and nothing more...

I am little confused and like to understand it.

Any Road map available?

More or less in October 29th, only with the remaining coins in the Airdrop

Hello,

Was wondering if people who was in round 1 will be able to participate in round 2?
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I try to win back my loss? on: October 20, 2017, 12:33:17 PM
I wouldn't listen to all the doubters in here if I were you iluvbitcoins. If I were to cut my losses and move on each and every time that I was taking a small loss I would have nowhere near what I have today. I would probably ble closer to being broke than I am now. It's silly, really. If you went in to gambling with a mindset of winning you have to keep on pushing for it until you win. So what if you lose your entire bankroll? You had that bankroll for gambling either way, right?

I guess he have, but it would be better to just let go of losses and be refreshed everytime he is going to play as if it is this first time Smiley.  Aiming to get what he have losses will only trouble him and make him frustrated.  See how he started the thread.  We are dealing the emotional aspect here, to continue to play or not is upto him .  I will never advise him to stop but rather just let go of all the loses of peace of mind's sake Smiley.

Why would it be better for him to cut his losses? Give me one good example?

If he went in with x amount and is prepared to lose x amount why should he stop after losing 0.X amount? Makes no sense. If you are going to cut losses you might as well never gamble in the first place to risk it.

Becasue the risk of loosing even more is great. that is why you need limits.
I tested a good strategy and with limits it was perfect. then decided to remove the limits and to see what will happen then. =>26 consecutive losses...

To avoid something like that you need to learn when to cut your losses as there are times when there will be plenty of consecutive losses and the only way to not loose lots of it is to cut them at some reasonable point.
And as there is the unknown if this instant will come at beginning or later, then it is impossible to predict what will happen. Divide and conquer!

So good luck to all Wink
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What You Need To Know To Get FREE Bitcoin Gold During The Fork. on: October 20, 2017, 12:21:44 PM
These will help us and give an idea of how we can get free BTG (Bitcoins Gold) During hardfork. You need to put a balance in your HardWallet like Blockchain, Xapo, Coinomi Wallet Apps, Jaxx.io apps and other wallets that hold your private keys and support Hardfork to receive free BTG. Or to Exchanger like Bittrex, Hitbtc, Yobit as well as wallets it needs support for Bitcoins Gold / Hardfork. The amount you can get BTG is equivalent to your BTC placed on such wallets and exchangers.

I am sorry to inform you that what you call HardWallet in your post are in fact hot wallets (should not trust them with more then small amounts that you need to move around).
If you want to have HardWallet (Cold Wallet) you will need to get one hardware wallet, or paper wallet, as the security of the others is less secure.
Even on Jaxx site they say to use it as hot wallet.

But then again more security comes with more cost and troubles operating with coins...
And yes as long as you got the private keys you will be able to obtain clone coins Wink
Just bare in mind the risk there is...

Hello,

I know that currently I do not complete the requirements for the BCT bounty, but was wondering if it will work only in fixed month, or is it no matter when you start as long as there is still funds?

I hope that soon I will be at least FULL member in order to join the campaign Wink
