181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC rally started to 17k? on: March 24, 2018, 09:03:51 AM
I have to agree that we had many positive news about Bitcoin in the past weeks. I wouldn't be surprised if we got back to 20 thousand dollars by the end of March. Short traders are probably happy because they could earn a lot of money on Bitcoin in the last 3 months. I'm too afraid of loss to try short trading. I believe that Bitcoin is sometimes unpredictable which means that it might vastly increase or decrease anytime.

182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum be a Better Investment than Bitcoin in 2018? on: March 24, 2018, 08:50:21 AM
I don't see any particular reason why Ethereum would be more profitable in this year. I really like Ethereum but I know that it might have some serious problems with scaling. Ethereum networks easily gets overloaded during ICOs running their payouts. If they won't find a solution for it like Bitcoin then I really doubt that it will become more valuable. However, it is a great project with huge potential but I wouldn't invest all my money in it. I have some Ethereum but not as much as Bitcoin. I hope that they Ethereum will become better.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin now make it super easy to fund something in full secret on: March 24, 2018, 08:45:27 AM
The process of KYC  that is mostly require by some exchangers makes it very easy to trace bitcoin users in case of any criminal act by bitcoin user. So it is not totally secret.

You can still buy bitcoins from someone who you know. You can use for example localbitcoins to make an appointment with someone who's willing their BTC face-to-face fiat. It would be a good thing to do in another if you want to stay anonymous. We won't need exchanges soon thanks to decentralised ones. There are a couple of decentralised exchanges available but they are not popular yet. Most people don't know about them.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible that all bitcoin users do not lose? on: March 24, 2018, 08:09:10 AM
Bitcoin as an investment is risky like every other. Many people say that you can't lose if you invest in Bitcoin but that's obviously false. There were many corrections, we are not in correction and there will be corrections in the future. We can't prevent it from happening. Bitcoin slowly becomes better and better. Sometimes a major or minor exchange get hacked which causes a lot of fear. That's why it's also important to use a wallet which gives you a private key so you are the only owner of it. Many people lost their money because of ignoring their security.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can bitcoin change our world? on: March 24, 2018, 07:19:46 AM
Governments want to be able to inspect every aspect of your life. That's why we need decentralised system, they will prevent them from checking how much money you have, what you spend it on and so on. Bitcoin is partially anonymous. You don't have to worry that bank will block your transaction or accuse you of money laundering. Give Bitcoin some time, don't expect that everyone will use it tomorrow. Credit cards also needed a while to be widely adopted, didn't they?
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin does not exist in the real world. How does it have a monetary value? on: March 24, 2018, 06:59:43 AM
Bitcoin does not have any physical form. Your funds on the bank account are also only some numbers. If every person in your country wanted to withdraw their money, it wouldn't be possible because banks doesn't have that much money. Bitcoins are stored in the Blockchain. To access them you need your private key which you can for example print and keep it with you (I don't recommend it because someone could steel your BTC). Bitcoin has a value because it is much better than fiat and it is not dependent on any third party.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My advice to Bitcoin newbies: relax on: March 24, 2018, 06:48:54 AM
There is no reason to panic, Bitcoin will recover soon like always. There are many positive news which should encourage investors to buy Bitcoin but it looks like that someone is spreading a lot of FUD. I don't think we can fight with it. We should wait a few more weeks patiently to see what will happen to Bitcoin. Newbies are very likely to sell their BTC when the price is decreasing. They will regret it at the end when Bitcoin starts to increase again.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Advertising on: March 22, 2018, 05:23:08 PM
I have no idea how would a proper Bitcoin advertisment look like. I think we shouldn't advertise Bitcoin on the TV. It's really hard to explain Bitcoin to someone who's not into technology. Advertisment usually last a couple of send which might be not enough for us. Who would pay for these ads anyway? TV air time is quite expensive. Also, someone would have to think of what would be inside the as that would convince people to buy BTC.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Panic sellers, please head for the exit (and don't come back) on: March 21, 2018, 03:36:22 PM
We can't avoid people who always panic. I'm surprised that many of them survived that long. I hate people who invest in Bitcoin without doing any research. Later it results in a huge panic because they actually don't have any reason to hold and believe in Bitcoin unlike some of the Bitcointalk members. It won't change anytime soon because of constantly increasing Bitcoin price and adoption. We will get used to it. The only flaw is that they will already blame Bitcoin, not their attitude.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will The Price Of Bitcoin Increase Forever? on: March 21, 2018, 02:52:42 PM
I doubt that Bitcoin price will be increasing constantly. Bitcoin will stabilise in some point in the future as soon as it will become universal currency. Bitcoin has a limited supply so in theory it should be increasing forever as you are asking. We have to remember that the future is unpredictable and many things can happen such as war, famine or something that could slow down cryptocurrencies adaptation. Once all or the vast majority switches to cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin should stop growing.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin worth risking your time and money? on: March 21, 2018, 02:06:39 PM
Bitcoin is definitely worth my time, money and efforts. I have been reading quite a lot about Bitcoin, I spent a lot of my time studying it and I don't think that I wasted it. Unlike some people I spent a lot of efforts before I invested in Bitcoin. I'm afraid that more and more people come here only because of the money, they don't care about the technology which is associated with Bitcoin. I hate this kind of people but there will be always people like that.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is HODLing a form of Day Trading? on: March 20, 2018, 12:23:20 PM
Holding is holding, I wouldn't call it trading at all because you basically don't do anything beside waiting patiently for Bitcoin price to increase a few times. I think that training required a bit knowledge about cryptocurrencies, market and exchanges. Newbies are very likely to by affected by FUD which could easily take control over them.
193  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is Bitcoin die next years ??? on: March 20, 2018, 11:12:30 AM
I can't think of any reason why would it die in the next few years I strongly disagree that it will die. Bitcoin becomes more and more popular thanks to its growing capabilities. It will take a lot of time for people to get used to it but I'm quite certain that we will all benefit from it. A lot of people think that Bitcoin is a bubble because of media. That's obviously true, they won't let the current system to change.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think HODL is bad for your health? on: March 20, 2018, 08:40:50 AM
There is no reason why hodling Bitcoin would be bad for my health. I'm not stressed when Bitcoin price is declining, I always take it easy. Everyday I read a lot of news about cryptocurrencies and even if I see bad news I don't sell, I simply try to analyze the whole situation. People tend to be really stressed when they invest their money in something. After a years of buying Bitcoin I have learned that there is no point in panicking because Bitcoin always recovered thanks to what's behind it.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 20, 2018, 08:24:50 AM
I don't think we need social media attention. We had already a lot of media attention when Bitcoin price was surging. Social media are mostly browsed by young players who are looking for a quick cash without doing anything. I really doubt that they would be interested in Bitcoin, they would immediately ask tons of question about earning money with Bitcoin. We should focus on making people aware of Bitcoin existence instead using ads to promote it. It will be much safer.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto mining profitable? on: March 19, 2018, 02:37:18 PM
Mining cryptocurrencies is still really profitable but you have to have free or cheap electricity. Otherwise it might take a few long months for you to get the money you investment in hardware back. Keep in mind that mining rigs generate a lot of heat. GPU ones are cheaper, cooler and more quiet but they are not as profitable as ASIC miners which are computers designed especially for mining with one specific algorithm. That's why they can't be used for anything else.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin loose its popularity? on: March 19, 2018, 02:18:21 PM
Why do you think that Bitcoin could lose its popularity? I guess that there is no reason why would people lose interest in it. Bitcoin has many flaws but you have to keep in mind that nothing is perfect. Bitcoin is not as great as Litecoin for example because Bitcoin was greater earlier. Despite all its flaws many people want to use it because they believe it's the most stable cryptocurrency which will be upgraded slowly.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you use your Bitcoin? on: March 19, 2018, 01:55:59 PM
There are many use cases for Bitcoin. I usually use it to pay some of my small bills and expenses. I prefer spending my Bitcoin in websites and services which accept Bitcoin directly and hold it. I understand that some of them can't allow themselves to hold BTC and they have to cash out. Many people are holding Bitcoin but they forgot that spending BTC is also important because it helps Bitcoin popularity to grow.
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Reasons to hold Bitcoin on: March 19, 2018, 11:54:39 AM
I believe that more and more people will accept Bitcoin in the future which should encourage people to buy and use it often. I hold my bitcoins because I am very excited that Bitcoin will become faster especially when Lightning Network goes live after developers finish it and decide to make it easier to use for average person. I don't think it's difficult right now but it is probably because I have been into Bitcoin for a long time.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how i can start?? on: March 18, 2018, 11:30:11 AM
I would recommend anyone doing some extra jobs. Check out the services section where many people are looking for translators. If you are good at speaking English, you shouldn't have any problem with finding a small job. Signature campaigns are good if you have a lot of time and some knowledge about Bitcoin. You have to check if part time jobs in your country are more profitable than spending your time here. Sometimes it's better to buy BTC directly.
