182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: facebook bans bitcoin on: January 31, 2018, 07:46:00 AM
Is it true that facebook is banning all advertisements for cryptocurrency, including Bitcoin ? but why?
Facebook implements a new policy that prohibits advertising about digital currency aka cryptocurrency appear on its social network. That is, no more ads that promote the use of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, and the like that circulated on Facebook.

According to Facebook, cryptocurrency is nothing more than a financial product associated with misleading promotional practices. So, if allowed to advertise on its platform, Facebook means to share the things that are not true

Satoshi Nakamoto's name has been mysterious. No one knows who he is.
Earlier, in the Bitcoin community, many said that the name Satoshi Nakamoto was a pseudonym. Others say that Satoshi Nakamoto is the name of a group, which means there are more than one person.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees.. on: January 28, 2018, 03:29:48 PM
Hi, Do you think is tehre any interest to reduce the transaction fees for bitcoin? Many alts are focusing on speed and low fees while bitcoin has made little effort.
The changes in question are BTC 0.0002 fees for Bitcoin transit and acceptance transactions, scheduled fees based on trading volumes with significant reductions in the Luno Exchange, and some minor changes for each country.
188  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices on: January 24, 2018, 03:58:26 PM
With the unstable increase and decrease in bitcoin is it a good idea buying, selling or holding now? Like yesterday I saw it hit $19,000 on coinbase but today it stands at $16,000
do not be afraid bitcoin prices continue to fall, while we still use bitcoin, then bitcoin will continue to be valuable, let the scammers sell out the bitcoin they have, and the bitcoin price will be back stable
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The countries banned Bitcoin on: January 23, 2018, 03:27:04 PM
I heard that some countries banned Bitcoin and 2 of them are China and Russia because the goverment think that Bitcoin deals are speculative, and the currency is always risky. But is it correct because there are a lof of Chinese use Bitcoin now?
China is one of the few countries to restrict the use of Bitcoin and prohibit financial institutions and banks dealing with Bitcoins. In December 2013 notice by the Central Bank of China, Bitcoin was dubbed the "Virtual Commodity" and its use as a currency of despair.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Future of bitcoins on: January 23, 2018, 12:18:56 PM
In future will the banks be able to exchange bitcoins?
Now we are exchanging from traders...but when (if) the popularity of bitcoin increase a lot then the traders will not be able to exchange such amount of bitcoins...so what about the future of bitcoin?
Over the last few years one of the most spoken news in the financial world is the remarkable growth of Bitcoin prices. For many people it's hard to imagine how something worth a few bucks will skyrocket for just three years? At that time people began to think that maybe Bitcoin got a big future and they were right.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin regulation on: January 21, 2018, 03:17:19 PM
what do you think off the position off the south korean government trying to regulate cryptocurrencie? do you think other countries will try to adopt the same position? china already banned bitcoin exchanges. facing this changes what is the future for cryptocurrencies. will they be regulated in the future and how soon do you think will see this kind of measures in europe?
Bank Indonesia declared the regulation concerning banning of bitcoin will be limited to cover all forms of transactions using bitcoin as a means of payment.
In this regulation, BI again confirms the non-recognition of bitcoin as a legitimate payment instrument in Indonesia. There will be closing-door points for all activities that facilitate payments with bitcoins and so on.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are the advantages of having Bitcoin? on: January 19, 2018, 03:20:07 PM
The only thing I know about Bitcoin is that it is a virtual 'money' but what are the other use of it? What are your advantages for having a bitcoin?  Roll Eyes
Many people began to be tempted to invest into bitcoin because the benefits obtained can be many times over. In some places, such as Bali, bitcoin has been used as a means of payment at cafes, restaurants, hotels, and travel agencies.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: January 18, 2018, 04:09:24 PM
https://www.deepdotweb.com/2016/01/23/bitcoin-playing-an-increased-role-in-crime-europol-says/

Would you believe that the existence of bitcoin has increased the number of criminality in  some countries in the world. This is the issue that was being thrown by the EuroPol and the UK Metropolitan Police. According to them bitcoin has played a huge role on the increasing criminality in their area. They added that a huge number of cybercriminals were using bitcoins in their activities.

This just shows that as bitcoin develops both advantages and disadvantages will tag along.
Many public misconceptions about the many uses of Bitcoin by criminals, but the thought is wrong thinking. This thinking is caused by the many people who think that Bitcoin is anonymous, when in fact Bitcoin is very opposite to it
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can be hacked? on: January 18, 2018, 01:46:16 PM
I love the concept of Bitcoin. I believe the Internet will redefine currency as we know it.  I hope this helps the Bitcoin community to develop a currency that's really resilient to attacks.

But, is it possible?
Investors and Bitcoin new users plunge into the world of cryptocurrency will be very easy to fear if they hear of anyone losing Bitcoin for being hacked. Please note beforehand that Bitcoin can be lost if not keeping it well,

196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin transaction fees fair? on: January 16, 2018, 01:51:41 PM
Everyone wanted higher bitcoin price and we achieved this but another problem become transaction fees. When bitcoin's price was low, we had to pay also low fee and now when it rised, we have to pay high fee in bitcoins and plus that high fee is more higher with current price. Is this fair? The higher the price, the more money miners have with bitcoin exchange.
To my mind when price becomes high, we have to pay low fee and when it becomes low, than fee has to be high. To my mind it had to be done like this from the begining.
Bitcoin standard transaction fees are still in demand by many users or bitcoin communities, but most digital currency users prefer to spend a little more money to move funds. At a rate of 0.0001 Bitcoin per transaction or US $ 0.0415 at the time of writing of this article- the cost has occupied the lowest scale for some time now. However, miners prioritize transactions based on related costs, and if everyone keeps using the same amount of fees, transaction bottlenecks can no longer be avoided.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Potential on: January 15, 2018, 03:31:14 PM
This would be a good topic for you all, I just want to know your insights about bitcoin's potential in the future. Any opinions about it?
Potential Bitcoin does not just get there. In Japan, after making Bitcoin a legitimate currency in the country, Bitcoin is also now used as a base asset of bonds. Thus Japan has seriously treated Bitcoin like fiat currency in general.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi Nakamoto is real? on: January 15, 2018, 02:02:52 PM

some have mentioned, that Satoshi Nakamoto is just a pseudonym
199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia bans Bitcoin on: January 14, 2018, 02:12:23 PM
Bank Indonesia will prohibit payment transactions using bitcoin by 2018. This bitcoin prohibition will be regulated in a Bank Indonesia or PBI regulation that is planned to be issued in the near future.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the future of Bitcoin? on: January 12, 2018, 03:20:50 PM
What is the future of Bitcoin BTC? Will it become a mainstream currency, or will its popularity wane, and why?
Related to price movement, the rise and fall of Bitcoin price is purely due to the level of demand and supply. No one can predict the price of Bitcoin, but as more countries and merchants receive payments in the form of Bitcoin, Bitcoin's future existence is predicted to continue growing.
