181  Economy / Economics / Re: I need financial advice for my careless uncle. on: December 12, 2023, 11:01:35 AM
Greeting to you all. I seek financial advice from you guys. My uncle who happens to be a contractor has been winning several contracts, but when the money comes all his plan becomes void simply because he I'll end up going to parties, drinking, womanizing and living a luxirious lifestyle. Although he is married and had kids but his youthful exhubirant has not yet left him even as his married and it's causing alot of problem in his family. When he has no money he thinks straight but when money comes he becomes unpredictable. He has really sufferd before he had this last chance he made over $5000 now he is seeking for financial advice, so I decided to bring up to this humble room to hear from you guys.

So what do you guys think he would do with such money to financially stabilize without going back to zero point?

I think it's very obvious what will be the advise for your uncle, stop going to parties and then don't live that luxurious lifestyle because he doesn't. He is a contractor, not a business man, so he just live by paycheck to paycheck from his clients. But what if the clients dried up? He doesn't have saving in bank for sure. So once he stop that partying, then the next thing is to go bank and save those money.

Now, if he wanted to make more money out of the money he got from being a contractor, then he needs to invest his money. So as a rule, invest what you can afford. And since you are in this community, maybe the best investment is Bitcoin. You can guide him how to be investor, for sure you should have known the how's on how to become a investor in bitcoin (wallets, safety and others).

That's right, it's like his uncle is also happy-go-lucky, is that the type who immediately goes to bars, restaurants, gigs, etc. when he has money? These things are like bad habits, in my opinion, especially if you are not a rich type of person.

There are other people who feel that they are social climbers, but they are trying hard when it comes to actual parties. So, in this case
we shouldn't be like this instead, we must know how manage our money properly.

183  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: December 12, 2023, 10:35:09 AM
Don't believe too much in luck with gambling. because in my opinion it never exists. play smart and cold money.
gambling is statistics if you know the data and statistics of the game surely you will win. so continue to learn from your defeats and learn how the data of each game to get more wins. but also don't overdo it because it's all not good and will only meet defeat when playing gambling.

If you don't believe in luck, what do you think about gambling? Is it a hobby or a source of income that you can earn money from? We can't get rid of other gamblers if they believe in luck in gambling.

Because if I am the only one to be asked, winning in gambling is really just luck. Imagine you bet late, and the first time you gambled, you immediately experienced winning. What can you call that? Isn't that called luck? You don't know anything about gambling, and you immediately win a huge amount...

185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The latest binance p2p scam and how to avoid them on: December 11, 2023, 01:28:22 PM
My Binance account is verified, and even my 2FA is enabled. Those two are enough for me. Then I didn't have any issues with the P2P features that the Binance platform has. As long as you know what you're doing here,.

There are others, like scammers in Binance P2P, who will say that the amount you are waiting for has been sent, but when you check, it is not there in the account registered with Binance. And when it says to press the release first before receiving the amount you expect, don't press it because it often has to go into your bank account before you release it or in other e-wallets.
186  Economy / Economics / Re: How to be more effective working remotely. on: December 11, 2023, 01:10:18 PM
I've been doing a home-based online job for a few years, then I added crypto trading, which I do three times a week, depending on the market situation. I'm in charge of the time, and I don't have a boss to follow.

This is what online income is all about; it's a good feeling that we get income via the internet, and then I'm still with myself if it's family or children, and we can go out to bond when we eat at a restaurant or fast food or go for a walk in a beautiful place with beautiful scenery.

So what do you guys think he would do with such money to financially stabilize without going back to zero point?

Your uncle's style is similar to other friends I've had before in that when he has money, he's like a one-day millionaire; he just grabs a handful of money in his pocket or wallet as if he'll never run out of money. Your uncle is like that, and those types of people lack knowledge of money management.

So what others said is correct: what your uncle needs is a financial advisor, and the only thing I can say is that your uncle should stop behaving like that when he has money, as if he is always acting like a star to his friends and he doesn't seem to care about his own family if he has one.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risk only what you can afford to lose on: December 11, 2023, 12:49:13 PM
When I started here in the Bitcoin industry, it wasn't really easy to learn, and I learned it honestly. That's why, no matter what cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin, every investor should know what is called risk and what they can't afford to lose.

Because if they don't understand this, it's only guaranteed that the capital investment they will use in cryptocurrencies will be wasted when they make a mistake in choosing these assets that they think can provide income.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risk and reward of having Bitcoin on: December 11, 2023, 12:39:19 PM
I also believe that, due to the volatility of bitcoin, we can also make money, right? It is said in the quotation that "no pain, no gain." There is also no successful person who did not make a decision to face the risk.

Now, when it comes to Bitcoin, it depends on each individual if they are ready to face the risk that they can experience when they invest in it. There are others who invested because they were persuaded by a friend who was misinformed about Bitcoin, so others fail in the end.
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 10, 2023, 03:45:22 PM
If quitting gambling comes from inside, is determined, and will find a way to stop it, that's good, and it will be easy to quit. But if there is no determination or willingness, obviously, it will be difficult for any of them to quit gambling.

Then it is not good for the couple that they both have a gambling addiction. Because, for sure, that is not far from being the root cause of their separation as a couple; in short, there is also a high chance that gambling will be the way for them to break their relationship as partners.

192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: December 08, 2023, 10:18:58 AM
Every type of addiction is really complicated, especially when it comes to children who have no idea how serious it is.

Whenever possible, parents should pay close attention to the slightest sign of inappropriate behavior by their children when playing or using the internet.

If you are the kind of parent who has an addiction to gambling, it should not be shown to our children or in places where there are children around. It's not really a good look, to be honest. As for the young, curiosity is too aggressive for them—the type that won't stop until they know it or get it.

But despite our avoidance, they still can't avoid it because they will still come to the point where they will still know that gambling is not good for children. Maybe the only good thing we can do as elders or parents is to explain it to them properly, and that's right even if they don't see us gambling.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for newbies on: December 08, 2023, 10:08:17 AM
Hello everyone, as you can see I'm new here, I'm looking for recommendations for a game to bet some money that I don't mind losing, I would like recommendations and if possible a recommendation for somewhere that teaches how to play. Thank you very much. Grin

You have a lot of choices to choose from; in fact, you already have a gambling campaign; I just don't know if you have tried to play it. I often see Plinko on Facebook promoted by female influencers. Did you try the question?

Or you can also start with slot games because these games don't really require skills, so even if you don't know anything or it's your first time, there's no problem. And often, when you get lucky in slot games, it's really a jackpot. Try it.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: December 08, 2023, 09:58:21 AM
I see a lot of people here talking about gambling responsibly. Yes, that is something very true, but have you ever been a gambling addict?

To be honest in the past I have spent a lot of money gambling. What I mean here is that I spent all my savings on gambling. Maybe the nominal amount is not that big but it makes me feel like a gambling addict. I spent 5 months of my savings on gambling. Currently I am aware and am in the stage of improving my own financial condition. Have you ever felt like a gambling addict? and how much did you lose in gambling?

It is not good to use our hard-earned savings for gambling. You are tired and worked hard, and then we will just throw away the money from gambling. This is a big mistake that we will make in life, honestly.

Even if we think that when we win, it's a big deal, it will still be wrong because the basis of winning at the casino is just luck, and we know that. I hope that we give value to the effort and time that we have given to the savings that we have made. We should dedicate them to a good and meaningful reason to use them.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You Convince Someone On Something That Will Not Work on: December 07, 2023, 09:18:08 AM
While strolling in a park I bumped into an old friend with whom I had a conversation about online gambling we had a long conversation some three weeks ago, actually the original topic was about Bitcoin but for some reason I mentioned online gambling using Bitcoin, and that what opened about a lengthy conversation about online gambling using Cryptocurrency.

I didn't know that he signed up for one popular casino that I mentioned he started to play there and had huge success using one of the oldest but ineffective methods which is Martingale, I was just surprised that he had a successful run using a variation of martingale on Dice even mentioning of doubling or tripling his bankroll.
He is about to deposit a huge amount of money next week because the holiday is very near and he just wants to explore his so-called new-found method, which is not new to us.

We all know Martingale will not work in the long run, should I let him find out himself but that will incur a heavy loss in this case.  Cry
Or should I discourage him by showing him videos, articles, and testimonials?

Because of this, I will not talk about online gambling to newbie I could put a guy in big trouble.

It's not bad to give him a reminder; as long as you just tell him that the risk and method you mentioned, if any, are not really effective, that's all. Now, if he continues what he's doing, let him go.

At least you gave him a warning, and he can't blame you in the end if he loses a lot of money in the martingale. Maybe that friend of yours is a rich person. Because you know that the martingale requires you to have a lot of funds to win really big in gambling, and this is often done in dice games, and I don't know in other games, maybe in slots.

But at least having skills in analyzing matches can give you the opportunity to find a team that is superior to other teams. If you choose that team, you will have a chance of winning, although that doesn't guarantee you can win because we have to remember that there will be a surprise factor when the match is underway. So with these skills, you can have a greater chance of winning than those who have no skills at all. And because of that, you have to be able to improve your skills so that they are better than before so that your chances of being able to choose a team or other gambling game can be greater to win. You really have to have skills in the game of poker because that is what is needed to be able to win so if you can learn more about the skills, your abilities will definitely improve and you can beat your opponents when you play poker.

That's completely true, gambling we know is about luck and chances, you need em both, having the skill can only increase your chances of winning, give you some sort of advantage than when you don't have the skill at all even as it doesn't guarantee you of winning. Which makes gambling so unpredictable or should I say very difficult for everyone. And yes Card Games are totally a different case with a different approach, you're playing with a real person and you don't have to depend on someone else's strength or skill to help you win but your own and that's why it's good to be skilled in that aspect.

Most community gamblers believe in luck; that's why many gamble because they think they might get lucky. And there are others who are really lucky, too. And the other rich people gamble and allocate $1,000 up to $2,000 in casino land. But they also won, in truth, when they got lucky.

I also believe that winning is just luck because I have a friend who doesn't often win gambling, but when he wins $500-$1000, it's envious, but I'm not lucky like that.
197  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Internet Bandwidth for Bitcoin Mining Farm on: December 06, 2023, 03:15:00 PM
As you are aware, the required bandwidth is really minimal, and it is determined by the number of mining rigs used in your bitcoin mining farm operation. This is what I believe is required based on the number of mining rigs you have, as seen below:

Quote
Small farms (1-5 rigs)2-5 Mbps
Medium farms (6-10 rigs): 5-10 Mbps
Large farms (11-20 rigs): 10-20 Mbps
Industrial farms (20+ rigs): 20+ Mbps

However, you should be aware that a dependable internet connection with low latency is more crucial for Bitcoin mining than a high bandwidth connection. Due to its low latency and high speeds, fiber optic internet is the greatest alternative for mining.

Give us advice to avoid scams on the network BTC

Of course, first be careful who the platform you trust to make the transaction is, then monitor it properly and double check if all the addresses you entered are correct so that there are no mistakes.

Then be careful with the website you enter; it might turn out to be a phishing platform that you don't know is monitoring you. In addition to this, keep your software updated; maybe later it won't be, because it becomes prone to hacking if it is not updated immediately.
199  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price guess, 2023 on: December 06, 2023, 02:40:44 PM
I really see Bitcoin's price value until December 31, 2023, between 60k and 61k; that's where I really see it ending this year. And entering the first week of January, it is possible that the price will range between 61000 and 65000.

This is in my own fundamental analysis according to my prediction that can be seen in those days; it may happen or may not; that's just what I'm saying so that others can understand it. But for now, of course, this remains speculation because this is my opinion.

Code:
No Priority | Low Priority | Medium Priority | High Priority
24 sat/vB       40 sat/vB       40 sat/vB          41 sat/vB
$1.24           $2.07            $2.07               $2.13

source: https://mempool.space/

No choice lang talaga ako kanina.
