181  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have been waiting for Bitcoin to reach $3000 on: June 22, 2017, 05:33:16 PM
I suppose reaching 3000$ is hard because a lot of people sell just before. In most case it's a better choice to sell just before a big cap like this because passing the cap is really hard. And if the cap is passed, then the price skyrocket, so...

Anyway more you are patient, more you will have opportunities, so wait  Tongue
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: So much hype but it can't even process as many transactions as Bitcoin on: June 22, 2017, 04:53:16 AM
ETH is only 2 years old and is simply going through the very same growing pains as BTC did. Nothing to see here apart from a load of jealous butt hurt ETH hating losers and a gud buying opportunity to buy the dip.

What is the reason people hate on ETH so much? I mean, I haven't bought or sold any ETH so I am not involved in this but I see this a lot: people are quite biased on this matter and there are a lot of people talking negative on ETH while everywhere on my social media it is dubbed the next big thing. Why are there so many mixed signals? This is actually really fascinating. You wouldve expected a lot of people to have the same opinion on ETH as it is portrayed as a working and good product.

It seems like a lot of people have missed the train, and some others are afraid of a flippening I guess. Anyway that's right, ETH is still young and a few upgrades will have to be done, as bitcoin before. Bitcoin already forked in the past and this is forgotten sometimes  Tongue.

The only point I don't understand is why ETH has this crazy market cap now, I think it would me more healthy to come to lower prices.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So, how bad are the issues with the Ethereum blockchain on: June 21, 2017, 07:12:45 PM
so, what will happen with vanished transactions?
I have one, it was in pending for 2 minutes on etherscan.io and then just vanished
Anyone please help

When I participed to Bancor ICO, I did a lot of transactions as they were vanishing. And my transactions just reappared a few minutes later, for some of them. It will depend of your luck, one will may be validated, but that's not sure. I've seen some others people who had no validated transactions at the end.
184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the difference between trading and transactions? on: June 21, 2017, 06:57:37 PM
It took a few years to give the first value for a btc.

BTC value depends mostly of confidence in the system, good or bad news, adoption, these kind of things. Trading is a bit a cause and a result too. Adoption and confidence was the first thing that helped Bitcoin to increase its value, it didn't started by trading, anyway during the first years.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So, how bad are the issues with the Ethereum blockchain on: June 21, 2017, 05:52:34 PM
There have already been spam attacks much bigger than the ICO that brought ETH down to its knees aimed at BTC. Nothing happened and exchanges never had to suspend deposits.

That's the difference between BTC and shitty platforms that claim to be better.

Ok, that's what I was a bit thinking, thank you.

ETH is young, it has to learn from its fails.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the difference between trading and transactions? on: June 21, 2017, 05:42:18 PM
Hello,

When you trade, you "consume" the buy wall. If there is no more buy offer versus 500$ (example), the value decline.

In a transaction, you don't trade your BTC for another currency, so there is no change in value. A transaction is a bit like a sell versus nothing. OFC if it's for buying goods, and if the seller will automatically sell the coins, you will help to reduce the value.

We can go deeper : As your transaction requires fees, and because you pay the fees, you will pay the miners. These miners can dump the coins they got in the fees in an exchange, so you can by this way reduce the value  Grin

But as transaction fees are really small, this doesn't change anything in fact.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So, how bad are the issues with the Ethereum blockchain on: June 21, 2017, 05:29:13 PM
I would be interested to know if we all do the same amount of transaction in the BTC blockchain than we had on status ico (or bancor ico) in the ETH blockchain, what would happen.

Which blockchain can afford the most important amount of tx per second ?

BTW I just realised I don't really know the ETH blockchain  Grin
Does every token transaction are stored on ETH blockchain like an ETH transaction ?

If yes, that would mean we will have more and more this kind of situation in the near future...
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [BNT] BANCOR - Speculation & Discussion on: June 21, 2017, 05:05:43 AM
I doubt a company that created only 40 string of code costs 150 million.
I bet price will go down after listing at major exchanges
300 million, they raised 150 per 50%
I have same doubts

That's the crypto world these days... Devs gets millions for every projets they make, and we don't really know why, just because everyone wants to be the first, to have the hope to make a 100x.

Every ICO happening currently collects millions, that's sick  Shocked Even 100x less value should be enough to finance these projects.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a bubble? on: June 21, 2017, 04:56:59 AM
For me, ethereum is in a bubble, but that doesn't mean that if the bubble pops, ETH would crash so much than it would disappear of our minds.

That's why I'm always thinking ETH could drop below 100~150$ this year. This wouldn't kill it, but this could let a chance for those who missed the train to come in.

Anyway to see these prices again, BTC has to crash a little bit too.
190  Local / Altcoins (Français) / Re: Status ICO on: June 20, 2017, 06:10:56 PM

191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC doing as much volume as BTC right now on: June 20, 2017, 05:18:05 AM
Is it worth investing at this all time high?

Was ethereum worth it when it was $48?

As we didn't know the price would skyrocket like now, it was a relevant question  Tongue Same question : does it worth it now ?

The answer is a bit harder.

Anyway we are in a pump so we can't predict when it will dump but we could see some violent movements in the next future.

if LTC market cap was the same than current ETH market cap, one LTC could cost around 700$
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If we all planned to invest in an altcoin? on: June 20, 2017, 05:08:56 AM
I will say for major coins, we have more influence when we say good things about a coin than putting a small amount of money on it. When we talk about a coin, we invest our time and our confidence on it, it's another kind of investment in fact  Smiley. Creating hype is another way to bring value to the coin.
Don't forget all the cryptocurrency system is based on trust.

Hype will put newcomers in a coin, and newcommers are reaaaaaally useful for the whales who are manipulating the price  Grin
193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - Future of trading - ICO July 2017 on: June 20, 2017, 04:56:07 AM
But if ico ends prematurely, who has not written 50 messages, what will happen?

It would be better to write the 50 messages before as if it's a "small" (anyway for these days) ICO, the ICO could not last that long.

I just hope the ICO date will not be annouced 2 days before the release, so let's suppose the ICO will be on the second part of july  Grin
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 6 GPU SETUP - only 4 GPU Working on: June 20, 2017, 04:47:43 AM
Nice to see it works now, sometimes some cards area bit fancy  Tongue

I suppose if you don't have any reason to upgrade, don't do this if your system works as it should be... Anyway that's what I would do, I would be afraid to have to make it work again  Cheesy
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC doing as much volume as BTC right now on: June 20, 2017, 04:39:08 AM
This is not surprising as Litcoin is a "major" currency and need really high volumes to get pumped as now.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 6 GPU SETUP - only 4 GPU Working on: June 19, 2017, 05:13:08 AM
Are you sure this motherboard can use all his pci-e ports at the same time ?

Did you find somebody on a forum who has this card ?
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: June 19, 2017, 04:48:21 AM

absolutely retarded expectation of price analysis... BNT could EASILY reach those heights and quickly, however using HBTC as the benchmark is so dumb it hurts.

This would be a good news, this price is really great. If i'm doing good calculations the ICO price in BTC was 0.0015 BTC for 1 BNC (based on 0.15 BTC for 1 ETH).
Let's wait bigger exchanges...
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best way to buy NEM/XEM ? on: June 18, 2017, 03:33:58 PM
Buy bitcoin first, this will let you more freedom to search a good and fast exchange. Then after put your Bitcoin on Poloniex or Bittrex and buy your NEM on these exchanges  Wink

199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Next 5 years, BTC will be 50000US, ETH will be 5000 US, IOTA will be 500 US on: June 18, 2017, 03:32:09 PM
Next 3 years, BTC will be 30000US, ETH will be 3000 US, IOTA will be 500 US, LTE will be 500 US.

Do you believe it? How do you think all next 3 years.
I can be, but Bitcoin price can not be that much, If Bitcoin price hits 30k$, there would be so many people will be rich Cheesy. Jk, everything could happen except from Bitcoin, it's going to die

There won't have so many rich people as almost everyone will sell his coin before 30k$. Some will sell to buy back later, some others will sell to leave the market.

200  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - Future of trading - ICO July 2017 on: June 18, 2017, 10:10:04 AM
I've seen from a few people the ICO market cap will be limited to 5m$

Is there an official annoucement ? I think I missed one as I can't find it  Grin

Thank you.
