Ah, I was wondering how much the rate for the soft staking program would be. Kinda odd, though, they're giving 2% of the user's amount in Onions every day? Or do I have it wrong? 2% daily could make people good money.

I think we all enjoyed yesterday, the rewards and the live show afterward. It was a nice celebration ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Origo (also privacy coin) has grown a lot for last week. So why Onion is not growing? A lot of people saying that privacy coins should be very popular nowdays...
If you look at the story, Origo has grown a lot for last week because solely of the listing on Huoby Global. By the way, now the price has started to roll back. So expect the big exchange will surge the Onion price too. Everything has its time ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) I think we shouldn't worry too much about other coins. As long as we focus on sharing Deeponion with people it will gradually grow and exceeds. I think if Binance was to add Deeponion it would be great, but great project like Deeponion takes time to grow. We should definitely focus on DeepOnion but since all cryptocurrencies are in the same market, we can use other cryptocurrencies to make comparisons and draw conclusions from past coins' performance to predict DeepOnion's future movements.

why is the author flagged? i still hold onion, seems like a legit project to me?
DeepOnion started with very aggressive promotion and there was a lot hate about us from another projects(because people dropped their signatures and added our), also airdrop was really big and our team excluded from it tons of multi-accounts and bounty hunters, a lot people also was not accepted to it. So you can easy find tons of threads where DeepOnion is called scam. Most of these negative threads\posts made by guys which was excluded from airdrop i believe(we deleted tons of shitty posts in our threads and they created new threads) One of bitcointalk team members noticed one of these threads where author called deeponion scam because staking premine, like deeper was planning huge dump and epic scam after exchange listing and that team member marked deeper's account with red karma:) Well... 2 y.o already project, airdrop finished long time ago, nobody scammed, nothing dumped (ATH was 20$) , constant developing, updates and partnerships. Stupidest scam in history, lol ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) But Deeper's account still has negative default karma Envy is contagious . . . Damn right. Imagine that after so much time has passed and it's been proven that DeepOnion is no exit scam project, that the people who gave Deeper negative trust still refuse to remove it. So butthurt for being proven wrong...

Sounds good if for whatever reason someone can't use the DeepOnion wallet to store their Onions. I wonder what the rate is going to be, I don't think it's mentioned anywhere.

It would be great to know the thoughts of the community. We need the help of everyone to improve the project even more! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I agree, the community should gather in that thread and pitch in. Their opinions and thoughts can help shape the future of DeepOnion. There's always someone that has an idea that another hasn't thought of.

Two years already...time is moving fast. The market is started to wake up, I expect to see price upward movement later this year. DeepSend is coming guys Yes, DeepOnion price will rise inevitably following bitcoin and the market. And DeepSend, made at the right time, will not allow the price to fall hard during the subsequent rollback Yeah, regarding the price, it is important that Deep Onion is listed on many exchanges and that volume seems to be picking up lately, which is a good sign. Few days of trading with 100K$+ volume and we will see Deep Onion at 10.000 Satoshi ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) Persistence is the key I think, because a lot of projects remain under the radar for quite a while, but you have to keep going. Yeah, some projects just end up without funds, though. People can miscalculate the duration of the bear market, for example, and spend up all the coin's funds before they realize it. I'm glad DeepOnion still has funds to give to developers and for other activities.

Hahaha good luck trying to ban cryptocurrencies alot of governments realize now that they cant stop it. Surviving cryptocurrencies like bitcoin monero and deeponion will be worth an absolute fortune for just one coin.
Smart governments will realize that it's better to join crypto than ban it. For the dumb ones, there are always privacy coins so that transactions can be done under their noses ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

What was the reason of yesterday pump? Is there some news? The market is recovering again and I hope we will see previous AHT price (aeound 20$) in this bullrun. team must work about listing to top exchanges and dont miss this bullrun ...
I think that in the past there was some news that didn't really give the price a pump which should have been deserved, mainly due to the fact that we were in a bear market. I believe that now that we're slowly entering a more bullish market this will change.

Some have said that it was alarming that DeepOnion was not moving when Bitcoin was moving. I think DeepOnion has always been doing its own thing which is far more important than going along with Bitcoin's price movements. In a larger scale, certainly Bitcoin can affect the price of the altcoins but it doesn't always happen that way, thankfully.

When binance?
Never, I hope. Intentionally excluding members from certain countries and creating a special version of the exchange for those countries to obey said countries' every whim regarding regulation is a big no-no from me. I'm glad I never registered in Binance to begin with. DeepOnion is listed in a lot of exchanges, some of which have huge daily volumes even if they're not considered tier 1. No one can say that it doesn't have variety regarding listing, DeepOnion has been listed in non-KYC exchanges, KYC exchanges, exchanges that operate on smartphones, etc. Listing on Binance doesn't offer anything aside from a temporary boost in price.

The Paycoiner platform looks very nice. I hope it can help to increase the adoption of DeepOnion in the near future.
I imagine it will. It depends on how well Paycoiner performs as a platform, of course, but it certainly can't hurt.

I can remember the day when I had supported ONIOn there probably. But the listing is now, that's quite late but nice to see ONION is listed in another exchange. However, any thinking of listing in a big exchange? Getting listed on a big exchange is usually quite expensive. I don't think a lot of holders would be willing to pay for a listing. Cost is not an issue, it can be paid with a VoteCentral proposal from the dev fund. The problem is the requirement to reveal the identity of the original founders. DeepOnion will continue searching for new exchange opportunities. I am still surprised by the performance of Kucoin. CoinDeal will soon open fiat trading for select US customers. Eterbase is going to be big in the European region. As you mention this, what exactly is the reason for the founders to stay anonymous? There are so many teams operating an anonymous currency who are publicly known. What is the problem with that? I believe it's just because they can... the very reason for deeponion is privacy, so it should be granted for all users and developers too Hmm... but the developers of Monero for example, they are also publicly known. Or Zcash, or Zerocoin. Sure, but it should be someone's right to be a developer of an anonymous coin and to be able to stay anonymous themselves. Especially since we're talking about anonymity here, it's the main feature of DeepOnion. If the developers of other privacy coins have revealed themselves then this means one of two things: either they decided to "take one for the team" and reveal their identities to further market their coin or they were never that serious about their own anonymity, so by extension they wouldn't care much about their users' anonymity either.

Dev team expanding... We just invited one of DeepOnion community member obszoenling to the team.
That's good news! This member has been a part of the DeepOnion team for a long time and has much to offer. I hope DeepOnion will keep adding developers to the team.

Looks nice, I remember when DeepOnion participated in their listing contest. And how about that, every exchange has its own coin/token now ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

Seems like this kind of crash happened to me too yesterday, I didn't think it could be due to staking. I haven't tried the fix yet but after restarting the wallet, I think it works okay.

That seems to be a good one, especially not asking people for their KYC. It is alined to DeepOnion philosophy. Nice simple interface and only 4 easy steps. Appears that it will work in Tor Browser. I will be trying this one out as soon as I get some extra funds ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If it's working on Tor browser, then that's really good news for people who want to maintain their anonymity. Of course, one should be careful when exchanging DeepOnion for another coin, not every coin is anonymous ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
