With the #83 continuing on its path to new highs I would highly recommend to anyone wishing to purchase one of the cards, if it falls within your budget, to get authenticated/graded ones. Most card collectors know that unauthorized reprints start showing up when there is money to be made. Anyway just be cautious when purchasing these cards. If it sounds too good to be true, IT IS.

All just in my opinion but, I was thinking of what would be in the ultimate collection of the #83 and I came up with the following A regular common PSA 10 including a PSA 10 mini regular back and PSA 10 a&g back A gold border and black border PSA 10 A silver glossy PSA 10 A brooklyn back PSA 10 A no # PSA 10 A glowie PSA 10 A must have to top this of is the regular or mini 1/1 glossy which only come in PSA 9. none higher From the x-box a regular PSA 10 a mini PSA 10 and one of the red mini PSA 9, none higher The silver mini would be the ultimate but, isn't around. Any 5x7 PSA 10's or blank backs would add some nice touches to the collection. This is the ultimate collection without the printing plates. There are beautiful packs you can add like the 3-card #83 cello pack and PSA 10 regular and X packs. The dolphin just thinking out loud  I had a PSA 10 glowie 83. Sold it to someone here on the forum in private chat a few years ago. If they want to come forward they can.  If pop report is correct, I believe mine was the only one ever submitted. |

I'd really hold onto your PSA 10's.
The value of them is going to skyrocket. I think PSA 9's are going to rocket as well.
I just got my grading completed on 50 cards I sent in back in September (not crypto-related).
They are not handing out 10's as often as they used to. These cards I sent were pack fresh, immediately sleeved into a soft plastic and then hard plastic sleeve. Shipped with cardboard surrounding for protection.
Out of 50 cards, I got THREE PSA 10's and SIX PSA 9's. Everything else was graded 8 and 7. Doesn't make much sense to me. Perhaps they are rushing through the grading process due to their backlog and maybe this will change in the future. But I think the 10's are going to be highly sought after if grading continues down this route.

Hello PSA Customers,
Since my last update, the momentum behind the hobby has only accelerated. In fact, our Collectors Universe President and CEO, Joe Orlando, recently shared the reality of the surge of submissions to PSA.
I’ll try to further illustrate what has happened. The sheer volume of orders that PSA received in early March has fundamentally changed our ability to service the hobby. The reality is that we recently received more cards in three days than we did during the previous three months. Even after the surge, submissions continue at never-before-seen levels.
Effective immediately, PSA is temporarily suspending our Value, Regular and Express service levels. This will allow us to fully unbox and receive the recent surge of orders and focus on our most impacted service lines.
O.O Just submitted my final orders the night prior. I think the prices will jump on ALL grades and ALL cards, even outside of crypto, once this hits the card universe  |

I see a score of psa 2 when you go to the 2018 allen and ginter psa population. You don't show that. yes. that card must be beat up for sure. i started scale where it shows. took some time to get in that format. maybe i'll just do pictures next time. That's absolutely absurd. |

As many of you are aware, it is getting increasingly harder to take delivery of physical silver. It took me a few months just to get this order from Scottsdale, need to sell however to apply funds elsewhere.

Looks like Mr. Stacy is correct as far as the tightening of grades coming from PSA. It will be very hard to get PSA 10's as expect the card to be flawless in all categories of centering, corners, sides and smoothness. Also, the least expensive service is 100.00 and expect a long wait time. From experience I would recommend the 300.00 service super rush but, still expect up to 3 weeks as it takes time before the cards are entered into the system. There is no guarantee, grades cannot be challenged only incorrect labels. If you have any PSA 10's my opinion is they are bigtime gold and prices will rocket on these. The Dolphin I did a few 'Express' orders on 2/12 (ship date) and received them back on Friday, so about 5 weeks. Not too shabby. I believe it was $75ish per card. Unfortunately my cards got 9's |

What it seems like to me is the PSA 10's are flying out the door for the non super rare ones. +1 . PSA will be elite brand even more so. They are trying to rebrand by saying even a lower grade PSA is still PSA. Yes, this. PSA continues its rule. Way better sales on PSA-graded cards over BGS. Anyone looking to get cards graded, I highly recommend using PSA instead. The turnaround is a bore, but it's worth it. |
