181  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [GB]Terraminer IV #5, Coinsortium on: March 10, 2014, 04:58:20 PM
Have not received an official response from Cointerra from any of my emails or voicemail

Will update if  I learn or hear anything

Soniq, I emailed support@cointerra.com regarding my unit and got a response almost immediately.  They automatically create a ticket and follow up.

I had the same issue, it was working at half capacity.  The problem in my case was one of the power supplies was defective, take a look and see if you have the same issue:

You can see the LED is yellow on the top unit.

They were able to diagnose the issue online and send me a new power supply, which I literally pulled out the old one, and plugged in the new one, and everything was fine.
If you would like to try this, you can do the following.

1) First remove the 3 screws holding in the metal cover , Unplug the unit
2) Wait 3 minutes (this is very important, make sure you do this, otherwise the PSU will go nuts when you unplug it)
3) press the little grey tab in and pull STRAIGHT out, and slowly
4) you can do the same with the other, and then put them back in (i.e swap the PSUs)

Any way, this is exactly what they asked me to do, which caused the other miner (miner 2 I believe) to start functioning whereas originally miner 1 was functioning. After this they sent me a new PSU overnight express, received 1 day later in Canada

Unfortunately the unit runs really slow, 1.55TH/sec on average, but ah well.   Hopefully a firmware update will improve that

Soniq, Forgive me if you already answered this,

When should we expect payments to start?  What is the schedule and amount of each payment?

Thanks

Looks familiar.  Looks like the fox is out of the hole now.  Still quite pricey though but I bet they will drop.

dunno about any ads on the speedyshare website. I don't see any of it since I have plenty of ad removers installed. If there is a problem with the speedyshare website then I'll just stop using it.

Dropbox,  Google docs,  or even bitcasa would work for sharing files publicly

These are part of B2 so until they finally get around to B1 these won't go out, we're also in the process of getting them refunded if possible.

Thanks for all your hard work!

Is this an error on the KnCMiner site
https://www.kncminer.com/products/neptune-second-batch
$9995 again?

The 2nd public batch will probably ship 1 month after the 1st public batch and is therefore less valuable, hence the $3k reduction in price. KnC has not explained this well, so your confusion about this issue is understandable.

Got it. thanks. I guess it doesn't help that the 2nd public batch price is the same as the private batch price.

Merry Christmas Guys and Gals.

Lets wish that this HashLate will not deliver this year. So we can get our refunds in BTC.

this thing (ie. HashLate) is starting to be like avalongate, all PR BS.

I thought the deal on their site said refund in usd equivalent to the amount paid at the time of purchase?
194  Economy / Speculation / Re: China blocks BTC Guild, bitminter and Slush Pools? on: December 19, 2013, 09:05:47 PM
If this is true it will bring down the difficulty a lot,  right?
195  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [CLOSED] Semi-private mining pool on: December 03, 2013, 12:46:36 PM
Yea, no PPS payment too. So lets hope we all get our rewards.

It took most of the day yesterday to get the final shifts created.

Once I redistribute rewards based on the final shifts, everyone will have their final balances and coins can be withdrawn.

Thanks for your patience.

Thank you sir.  Looking forward to it.  We all appreciate your hard work and efforts into making this a world class pool.  Sorry it did not work out

How about adding a donate option?

Are you asking for a donation address or percentage of earnings donation?

I have keep the pool fee free while we are in beta.

percentage of earnings donation.  That is very kind of you.  Would like to donate a small amount (maybe 1%) to contribute to the bills/running costs.  Your success is our success!
