If I wanted to spend my Bitcoins on a house that was for sale in the UK, would this be legal? As in, after I purchased the property and the person then said they did not receive the funds (lied), would that be game over (as it is somewhat anonymous)?. Are there any procedures that can guarantee you sent the funds to that person so the property is 100% legally yours?
Apologies if these are stupid questions, I haven't bought much with my Bitcoins, certainly nothing of any real value and I have never purchased property before.

Well the thing is you can't actually buy it at 1 say now. The buy order is like 30 btc which is huge for a coin like this, which is why I opted to buy straight in at 2 sat. I don't think it will go to the LTC market given the huge 1sat buy wall it has, and many miners do not want to sell for 1 sat, so they put their sells up for 2-3 sat.
I don't think we will go lower than 1, but lets wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.

Just bought 4.6m at 2 sat on mintpal. The coin seems ok to me so i'm happy with the buy . Very cheap. |

Ok, do you think it's a solid currency? That's the most important thing, not the price right now. If you do not then sell all your MINT and don't bother with it again. I think the currency seems pretty solid and the community and team behind it is rather strong.

If you really believe in this coin and want to see it succeed and plan to support it in the long term, please tell us what you have done so far with the premine!
Since so many are so concerned about this premine i fear the coin is going to fail unless you start being transparent about it....
And that would really be a shame if such a great concept would fail because of it
There is only one dev (mintcointeam) although there is a huge team doing all sorts of things. The original dev is the only one with the premine and he never talks in this thread, or even on the forums really. You're right, it may end up killing the coin. |

Interesting presentation. Clearly the dev cares about the coin as he/she has put the effort into the graphics. If the coin is half decent and works then sometimes all you need is good marketing, even if there is nothing new to the coin.
Also, nice to finally see a coin that has not been premined.

Because it is their defense mechanism against those who sold. Or anyone who says anything bad about MINT. Sort like how America deals with democracy. Marginalize/discredit or kill anyone who knows the truth.  Actually, people call other people trolls, when they are being a troll. Usually, the more people saying it, the more accurate the claim is. I don't know philipvdlinde personally so I can't comment on his actions, it may have just been one person calling him a troll? Trolls often call other people trolls. |

New rule: Tell anyone you sold you go on the troll list. This thread doesn't tolerate non-investors, and is extremely hostile to the public.
