Why do you worry that Bitcoin might be used by the NSA, when the NSA has access to your windows computer anyway?
http://www.heise.de/tp/artikel/5/5263/1.html

They already could have loaded a hashcat like tool to your PC and using it.  Wink Bitcoin mining is something mainly done by nerds and nothing that the common guy does. Because of that the hashing power would be much lower than if the would be hasing only with the cpu on every windows computer  Wink

Set Powertune to a lower level, this helps to run more stable.

Leider funktioniert die Beta bei mir nicht. Trotz geänderter IP Adresse versucht das Programm die Registrierung unter 127.0.0.1 vorzunehmen.
184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had a $1,000 to invest... on: June 15, 2013, 01:18:06 PM
I would invest 45% into LTC, 45% into PPC and the Rest into Copper Lark. LTC & PPC have both good concepts and if they will be accepted by more dealers or Mt.Gox then their value will rise a lot. Cooper Lark would be my high risk investment. Those russians habe a good concept with a sha3 coin and putting much effort into it (exchange, gpu miner coming soon). As much as I like BTC, I don't see it as an investment which could make me a lot of money. The chart is most of the time between $100 and $110, as there are too much people that buy at low prices and sell when it's a little bit higher. I don't think that will change in long term.

Stratum isn't working correctly too:

Bitparking is pool 1

Something is wrong with the w64 build. It crashes after starting on my AMD A10-5800K and my AMD E2-1800. The w32 build and the old 3.0.99 w64 build are without problems.

Replacing the grease did help a lot. First of all the was to much grease on the chip and it was cheap grease. After replacing it with a small amount of TG-3 the card is now about 11° C cooler (51°C instead of 63°C) but sadly it didn't help much on the hashrate. I can get now 5 MHash/s more out of the card.
The trick with changing the intesity doesn't help with my card.
189  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Cgminer vs Guiminer on: June 13, 2013, 12:17:53 PM
Guiminer has some problems:
- After some time the hashrate often falls down to some kHash/s, not going back to normal MHash/s hashrate
- You can't tune you card to the maximum hashrate like you can do with cgminer or bfgminer
- You need for every card a worker
- You can't do load balancing, which means with this high difficulty it is possible that a pool has to chew a long time to solve a block. With load balancing you can mine on two or more pools and your daily income is higher (Example: Pool 1 is unlucky and chewing on a big block, but pool 2 is lucky with short blocks and pays you for solved blocks).

Wenn mich nicht alles täuscht müssten daß die Dateien im Forms Verzeichniss sein.

Leider ist der Pool Miner nicht komplett übersetzt:

was trägt man dort ein, und wie lautet die Adresse des Pools?

Thanks for your help. I'm sending my gpu miner to your pool for a while to see if my hasrate is too low.

I know I'm currently only having a very small hashrate because of cpu mining with the litecoin wallet, but somehow this looks strange to me:

I'm not getting any payments since 2 days, but my hashrate hasn't changed...

199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Hardware is needed to Mine 1 BTC a Day ? on: June 10, 2013, 06:37:50 PM
Try load balancing your mining. I'm currently mining at EMC and Bitparking with load balancing with my main rig. This only gives you halve the income per pool, but the chance of catching short blocks doubles. As both pools use DGM even very short blocks pay for you. EMC had a block today that only took 22 sec to be solved. I wasn't able to contibute a single share to this block but got paid because of DGM. I have choosen those two pools because they are both DGM. EMC is a bigger pool with quite a good hashrate, so it solves big blocks in shorter time than smaller pools. Bitparking is nice because it offers merged mining of NMC, DVC and IXC but has a lower hashrate. This way I get more solved blocks paid out than with only 1 pool. Of course it happens that both have to chew on a big block, but the chance is lower than with only one pool. I haven't looked much at other pools, so probably there is an even better combination. If you have lots of hasrate and a quick connection, then you can use even more pools for load balancing.
200  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: One of three 7950s is running slower? on: June 10, 2013, 05:42:40 PM
Is the one running slower than the others older than the others? Maybe removing dust and replacing the thermal grease might help. My Asus HD7950-DC2T-3GD5 (that I bought used) is also only hashing about 440 MHash/s, after removing dust and optimizing airflow. I can't set Powertune over -9 without overheating it in a very short time. Before I removed dust and added extra fans -13 was the best. My last hope is that the thermal grease is the problem. I have some Thermaltake TG-3 ordered, I let you know if it helps.
