181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: cpu gpu mining on: July 06, 2018, 12:42:44 PM
XMR-STAK is capable of mining with all six of my Vega's and the CPU.  I don't do it, because it's a Celeron CPU and it doesn't make much difference in hash rate.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub has started accepting crypto on: July 03, 2018, 01:47:22 AM
It is just a matter of time before the American authorities accuse them of allowing minors to watch porn. One of the reasons why the porn sites are forced to accept credit card payments is that it acts as an ID proof and the website owners can be sure that their clients are above 18 years of age.

You mean they can't accept debit cards?  I don't know if they do or not, but you don't have to be 18 in the United States to have a checking account and a debit card.  I'm certain of that.

Fasttech accepts a dozen or so crypto's.  They sell vaping products, among many other things.  Vaping products cannot legally be sold to anyone under 18 in the United States.
i think and i really hope ypu will get a lot of money and other services will be paid with other cryptocurencies, so i hope

HUH? LOL ...  Grin Grin Grin

lol, what the hell did I just read

Yeah no kidding ... More nonsensical bs.  I dug a quarter of a bitcoin as well.  Took me a month, but my quarter of a bitcoin is actually 25% of 1BTC.

187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: How To Mine Ravencoin + RVN Wallet + Best RVN Miner -- $20/rig on: June 26, 2018, 12:27:41 AM
ThreeEyed is scam pool they did not pay me over 280 ravencoin only the first and the second payment came 3.4 and 11.7 coins, then they stopped paying and reset the account, I have a screen, I do not recommend

ThreeEyed is dead as far as I know.  I only mined with them for a day or two before they went down, but they did actually send my balance to my wallet.
188  Economy / Speculation / Re: 5990$ right now dump just started. on: June 22, 2018, 10:15:29 PM
The price is still good for me because I bought bitcoin when its around $3k so basically even if its dump on this level again I will not sold my bitcoin. Yes, the whales want us to panic and dump everything we have so they can buy at a cheaper price, so better to be patient than to be a victim of those greedy whales.

holy smokes, you mean you bought your bitcoin at 3k, and didn't sell when it hits 19k USD?!?! omg man how much money have you missed out!!! the pain!!!

Not really, if his expectation was always for bitcoin to be much more than that sometime after the halving in 2020.  I mean, I'm going to begin accumulating more btc in the 5500 area and will continue to accumulate in the event that it goes lower and lower.  Do you think I will be willing to sell any of it for 20k, if we reach that level next year?  Fuck no I won't.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: What coin will be best to mine during this bearish market on: June 21, 2018, 05:06:13 PM
I don't mine during this bearish market. but look for a chance to buy in this bearish market.
cause i think it doesn't profit again when you mining or have a less profit.

It doesn't matter what the coin price is today, if you're not selling it today.  Why is that so difficult for people to understand?
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Internet Cafe Mining on: June 21, 2018, 01:40:35 AM
Hey everyone, first post on here, so forgive me if I make a mistake. I have been mining crypto for a few years now. I am un the UAE, and there are many gaming cafes with 10 series cards. Many of these cafes don't have all their computers occupied 24/7, so I would like to run nicehash in the background. I have spoken to the owners, and they are very interested in partnering with me. I know nicehash has a button that turns on mining when PC is idle, and this is what I want to do. What I am concerned about is how to conceal it so the regular user would not have access to it. Some cafes have portals, some have desktop access. None have full access to the computer though. I am willing to pay for assistance in this matter.

Please let me know if anyone can be of help.

Thanks

You're going to go to jail, buddy.  LOL  Grin Grin Grin  ... Seriously though.  If the owner of internet/gaming cafe wanted to do this with their own hardware and their own bandwidth while those machines were idle, they wouldn't be coming to you (shady guy who knows nothing about mining), to accomplish this task.  Sorry buddy, no lambo for you.  LOL.
191  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub has started accepting crypto on: June 20, 2018, 07:42:07 PM
How many people still pay for porn?
I'm still paying for some porn sites. Since xvg announced their partner Pornhub, I noticed and learned more about xvg. In the future, all porn sites will be the partners of xvg

Eventually xvg will die like 90% of all scam coins.

193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub has started accepting crypto on: June 20, 2018, 01:22:21 PM
Imagine that Pornhub has just taken $ 1 million worth of Verge from selling movies, suddenly the market is down, and they lose 30% of that, they would not be happy

Imagine that this was only a marketing scam by Verge, because that's what it was. Lol.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pornhub has started accepting crypto on: June 19, 2018, 02:18:57 PM
I would like to know how the coin is called. Porn-coin? Maybe someone has information about this token? On which plate, where it trades. Or do they have some kind of my own pornographic algorithm?)))

Read the thread.  This is about them accepting a big shitcoin called Verge.
195  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Stuck at member rank on: June 17, 2018, 04:07:06 AM
Unfortunately, in the signature of every single post above, is the reason why ranking up will continue to be a struggle. Nothing
against you, or the previous posters, but the Merit system truly does make it harder for shite posters to use this forum,  solely
for the purpose of making a buck.

Not really unfortunate.  I'm all for shit posting and arguing, but shit post your true opinion with basis.  Not your opinion, because it's tied to your investment with zero basis.  I don't really care what level in the forum I hold.  It has no correlation to my portfolio value  Grin Grin Grin
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining profitability ASIC vs GPU on: June 17, 2018, 03:58:40 AM
Look at the ROI for Bitmain Antminer z9 mini, just 28 days, and of course the difficulty level will be like double very soon. So basically I think all of gtx GPUs which are mining equihash coins will move to mine other algorithm soon. This's something really bad for GPU mining community.

Most realists believe that eth going POS will cause a MUCH MUCH MUCH bigger issue in GPU mining than equihash asics.  If the percentages are correct, that is who I would agree with.

Edited to add ... I've never purchased an asic.  There may be a time that I convert my farm ... Maybe a gpu, asic, fpga combo ... Who knows ... However ... I will never purchase an asic from bitmain.
197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how to cash btc on: June 17, 2018, 03:54:57 AM
You can send your BTC at your local exchanges. And then u will sell and get your local currency.

Local? LOL.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining profitability ASIC vs GPU on: June 14, 2018, 01:44:37 AM
Very interesting indeed. This Bitmain Antminer Z9 Mini is new to me and upon checking it's designed to mine BitcoinGold and I think it's ok as the price is very affordable and the ROI is easy to achieve with the daily profit of $31.22 per day. What do you think guys?

Did you read the entire thread?

Yes currently it would make that much however there are potential talks of some coins forking to different algos like Bitcoin Gold.

There is also another issue where there is a huge supply of these miners and once they start shipping in a few weeks the difficulty will skyrocket.

So its more or less what happened with the Litecoin and the Dash ASIC miners.

LOL >>> I would never buy from a company that tells you what the profitability is.  Those are Z9's anyway ... Bitmain product.  I wouldn't buy from them, but if I were going to buy one, I certainly wouldn't buy one from a scammy reseller  Grin Grin Grin
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining profitability ASIC vs GPU on: June 14, 2018, 01:39:51 AM
Price of electricity in my country kills mining Smiley. So bad. Smiley Nice post to have some idea about it.

Well you should be learning ta, understanding how fa plays into it, buying btc without going all in, and FORGET about mining.  Do your own research and make your own judgments.  Learn enough that you can make your own plan.  Whatever the hell you do, don't start mining, if you can't afford to hold on for the long term.

Youre not fooling anyone, your power isnt free.  You just paid for it up front and have how many decades before you get ROI on it?  How much equipment will you have to replace before the ROI day comes? Hmmm

FYI, some solar panels and inverters out there have 25 years of warranty, while most average at around 10 years of warranty.

Guess how long it takes to ROI a simple grid-tied solar installation? 4-5 years. Good luck to you chumps. Anyone not investing in solar is missing out. Just get a simple enough solar system that supports your household consumption.

Oh I agree with you.  Personally, I don't plan living in my current home for more than another few years, so I don't feel like I should be investing in solar.  When I get to my forever home, I will certainly be looking at it.
