181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the collateral behind Bitcoin? on: August 29, 2018, 05:56:04 AM
What is the collateral behind Bitcoin?Like in case of Fixed deposits Money deposited acts as a collateral. In case of a car loan Car acts as a collateral.Likewise what is collateral behind Bitcoin? BTCBTC

There is no collateral that is why there are lot of criticism against this investment like Bill Gates and Warren Buffett in which they said that Bitcoin will not last because it has no collateral for the sake of the investors but Bitcoin already build a deep foundation of trust among the people that even it has no commodity to promote but still the people will pour their investments to this coin.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Wallet Keys and Passwords should be known to you and you alone. Yes! But... on: August 29, 2018, 01:41:24 AM
Yes! You need to protect your wallets against any possible theft or hacking. You must protect your private keys and wallet passwords. This is a must for everyone, else your coins will be stolen.

The frequent warnings of ensuring you protect your private keys from anyone seems to have eaten too deep into almost everyone of us in cryptocurrency. Some of us have forgotten certain realities of life and cryptocurrency wallets which I want to warn you about. My warning is mainly targeted at anyone who has a family, or at least, a child. You must leave a means or trace that your family will be able to access your wallets when you are gone. I mean when you are below 6ft. Each one of us will die some day. No one wants to hear this, but it is the absolute truth. If you suddenly die today with your secret keys and passwords unknown to your family, your coins are lost forever. Your crypto wallet is not a regular bank, so no way your family can claim your many crypto wealth online.
Don't be selfish. Your family or wife or children must not suffer when you have so much Bitcoin or other coins trapped in an inaccessible online wallets.

Remember your family and loved ones.

You have a very strong and uneasy decision to make today.

It is right that we should keep our keys, passwords and accounts to safety in which part of that precaution is to share them only to your trusted love ones which is your family or your wife and children to ensure that they could use them whem we are gone. I have already instructed my family on what they will do in case there is any untoward bad incidents that may happen to me.
183  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Europe Wants To Know Who You Are? on: August 28, 2018, 02:46:20 AM
Everyone hear the news, seems in Europe the so called powers that be want to put more regulation
for anyone who uses an exchange there to trade etc, they want to know who you are and when you are using the exchange for transactions in crypto.
so much for using the block chain and having a hidden ID in a transaction
must be a tactic to tax everyone in crypto?

anyone else read this? thoughts? its on cointelegraph.

something we dont want but who knows eh

This is good because this is part of the government regulation to ensure that only legit people are the one were using this investment and to ensure that it will not be use in illegal activities specially in scam projects in which they will use the crypto platform to steal from the people. As long as we are legit people so i think there is nothing wrong with this government regulations and we are oblige to pay the tax specially if Bitcoin was declared legal.
184  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year? on: August 28, 2018, 12:54:59 AM
Will Bitcoin continue to fall this year?  After the $18,000+ rise, bitcoin has not yet recovered from the great fall. Will it continue to go lower and lower? Or do we have hope that it will hit high this year?
What do you think fellas?

Most of the famous experts in crypro field believed that Bitcoin will bounce back before this year will end so i think we should rely on these predictions with hope that it will really happen. Although Bitcoin price is really unpredictable but there is nothing we can do but to be very optimistic or we should quit and leave this investments to seek another opportunities other than Bitcoin.
185  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Big market crash has started? on: August 27, 2018, 02:16:57 AM
Since I posted this subject the market conditions have changed and Bitcoin looks like it will smash 7K soon!
Long live Bitcoin

Its already started and this price fall down is not the end of it because someone said that it need to go down as low as $5,000 before the bullish market will start. So i guess we should expect more drama crashes for the Bitcoin future. Here is the link https://www.ccn.com/why-some-bulls-expect-bitcoin-to-fall-below-5000-prior-to-big-rally/.
186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is struggling? on: August 26, 2018, 03:08:03 AM
What does this tell us?
I do not know what to think anymore!
BTC just went under 9K

We are still in bearish market so expect most of the crypto currencies will in difficult right now but Ethereum and Bitcoin are the best Crypto for investments in which they are the most promising and have the potential to make your more to grow in multiple folds for both short and long term investments. Hopefully the market will become stable once again before this year will end as this was predicted by most of the famous experts in crypto.
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to invest 500$ on: August 26, 2018, 01:28:40 AM
Good evening people, im newbie in cryptocurrency and i need a hand from you guys.
I want to invest 500$ in an altcoin, can you help me pick one ??

Choose the top ranked Altcoins like Ethereum, Ripple and EOS. These Altcoins are very promising in which good for both short and long investments and have the potential to make your money to grow. Just do not put all of your eggs in one basket to ensure that your capital will prolong.
188  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is going on in the market? on: August 25, 2018, 02:21:16 AM
Obviously, the market is in difficult right now in which Bitcoin has been in this situation before. I remember the day when Bitcoin was young and just introduced in the market in which the price is constantly fluctuating, we though it is the end of it but mostly are wrong because Bitcoin survived. Therefore we should be use to this market cycles and should learn from it so that we keep on earning even this time of difficulties.
189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price after another ETF rejection by US SEC on: August 25, 2018, 12:47:09 AM
As anticipated, bitcoin took some  minor dive, losing about 300$ with the recent rejection of bitcoin ETF proposals presented by ProShares, DIREXION and Graniteshares but things seem to be recovering nicely after just a few hours, maybe we don't need the ETF afterall, just a killer app to drive adoption mainstream

Hopefully that the people will not really care anymore about this ETF proposals because Crypto currency market is in middle of recovering. We have waited long enough for the bullish run and we just hope that after this ETF issue the market will continue to move on now.
190  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the bitcoin be outdated by another currency? on: August 24, 2018, 02:23:18 AM
Everything is possible so maybe but the question is when will that going to happen. For now, the people will choose Bitcoin over Altcoins for an investment because most of the people are confident that Bitcoin is the most promising and has the highest potential to make your money to grow therefore it is impossible for any Altcoin to supersede Bitcoin at this moment.
191  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: South Africa’s Tax Agency Targets Tax-Evading Cryptocurrency Traders on: August 24, 2018, 12:49:49 AM
Maybe their current regulation policies need more justification and improvement so that these tax evaders will not bypass the local exchange and the government so easily. Paying Bitcoin tax is an obligation in which every crypto users must comply or their government will ban Crypto investments in their area.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Accelerate the End of Fiat Currency? on: August 23, 2018, 04:55:17 AM
Before that will happen then Bitcoin must become world currency replacing fiat in which i think it is very impossible to happen as we all knows that not all people can be able to use Bitcoin so how Bitcoin could accelerate to end the fiat currency? If they want Bitcoin to end fiat then they should address the various issues of Bitcoin like delayed blockchain transaction, fees, education of the people and the price volatility.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: August 23, 2018, 01:40:08 AM
I have only gained good things from cryptocurrencies (they have changed my life for the better), however, I am frustrated at those who are in for money, and only money. They hurt themselves as well as cryptocurrencies future. I am sad that I still can't use bitcoin to purchase the things I want, as it isn't used as a payment currency/method. I am sad that there are big financial institutions that want (and do their best) to wipe the crypto world out, and instead of working together as a crypto-community to thrive, we are fighting, arguing, and scamming each other. Where I live, the government relentlessly tightens and destroys our financial lives—I was lucky to have found salvation in cryptocurrencies when others struggled.

We need to show the world that we are not just a bunch of wanna-be millionaires, that we actually care.

I think the most common reason that we are here is because to earn as Bitcoin is an investment that we could earn more fiat. Therefore it is natural to all people in here to become worry about there investments as Bitcoin as a currency is just a second reason and that is why many people are afraid to join this investments as they are now in doubt if they will really earn in this investments because they are not worrying if what currency that they will use in spending but they are worried if their fiat will grow here or not.
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe the crypto market will never take off! on: August 22, 2018, 06:13:51 AM
There are many reasons why this market will never amount to anything: The list goes on and on!
Is it time to sell and get out of the market?
Just look at a graph of the Bitcoin since it started. It is not the graph of something that is successful! It is the graph of a failed project: Don’t look at price think about popularity!
Price: Tether manipulated price and the prices were not organic. Wake up bitches the market is trying to correct to its true value. That is why it keeps going DOWN!

If the price will going down then it will be an opportunity to purchase more cheaper coins in which if many will going to buy then of course the market will going to ascend too. The market will going to take off but maybe it was just manipulated by now so that the value will become much cheaper if the bullish market will going to be start.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BTC back to $6000 ? on: August 22, 2018, 02:00:24 AM
Almost lost $1000 today in values in last two days.  Just heard the bull has just entered. What's really causing this impact? The price was bit fluctuating between $8500 to $7500 for past ten days but today's impact brought down the value near $7500. Are we towards $6000?

For me, $6,000 should be the new baseline that the price should not go down below from this figure or else it will create more doubt if this known so called bullish market is true or just a fantasy. Hopefully we will go beyond this price as we have few months left before this year would end.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is the King of ICO, Do you agree? on: August 21, 2018, 02:12:27 AM
If Bitcoin is king of cryprocurrency, then Ethereum is the king of all ICOs ,do you agree?  Stella, neo and no other blockchain has hosted ICO than Ethereum.

This is true because Ethereum platform was commonly used by most of the ICOs to support their project tokens and that is why MEW is become famous too which means that they trust Ethereum as it was the most convenience to use too because of its ERC20 standard. Ethereum will become more famous to ICOs if Vitalik Buterin will become successful to improve the transaction speed of up to 1million per seconds in which it will become totally a user friendly to all Crypto enthusiast.
197  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOW TO GET INSTANT PROFIT FROM TRADING? on: August 21, 2018, 12:50:56 AM
You could profit but don't forget to mention you could instantly lose in this scenario too. That is why this high risk high pressure scenario isn't followed by many, and it isn't because people don't like money. Because these kind of trades are hard to execute and require much studying of blockchains, orderbooks, richlists, and everything in between there aren't many day traders.

Indeed, it seems that its only discussed about the advantages but forget to share about the disadvantages in which you're correct that the Crypto prices are now really hard to predict and its very tough to presume that the price will spike for your instant profit but how about if it will fall instantly which mean an instant lose of your money too.
198  Economy / Speculation / Re: will bitcoin price will move up to 20000$ in 2018 on: August 20, 2018, 12:58:32 AM
I have heard that bitcoin price will move up to 20000$ in 2018 is it possible, though I have very little amount of satoshi should I hold them ?

Hopefully it will hit that mark as it has recorded last year that Bitcoin almost hit it but limited to $19,800. Bitcoin start to climp up after the fork event which is on Aug 1 then if the history will repeat itself then maybe this week end of Aug will be the bullish market should start. So lets wait and see of what will happen then because Bitcoin price is really unpredictable.
199  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: August 19, 2018, 02:42:09 AM
Lets say crypto completely and utterly replaced fiat. Fiats don't exist anymore. All governments have seen the advantage of using digital currency and have completely changed their fiat into crypto, like dollar to dollar token(obviously not tether). How viable is this? For example anyone can see how much I am holding using the public ledger and track me down and force me into sending them the cryptos I hold. I wanna discuss in reality if cryptos actually replace fiat how life will be and what are the problems we are gonna face and the immediate effects of it.

What you trying to ask is the advantage and disadvantages if Bitcoin will replace fiat as world currency. Well for me i will favor this because it will be more safe and convenient every time we will walk on the streets. We don't need to bring a huge physical money anymore which is not safe and we could use Cryptos in case of emergencies like we are in the hospitals in which we don't need to bring our ATM and wallet anymore. The major disadvantage is the crypto could not use by the less fortunate people in which computer literacy is vital on every transaction.
200  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Buy for another person on: August 19, 2018, 01:27:59 AM
I guy from UK (I don't know him, He is supposed to be my new boss, but I'm not sure) asked me to buy bitcoins.
He transferred money to my account, then asked me to buy localbitcoins with this money less 10%( my commission).
I did it, he told me that was a test, but now he wants me to do again and I'm not sure that it is legal.
I live in California.

This is an insane idea for that strangers that it will easy to trust a person that he did not meet that what if after sending the money then the receiver will just run away with the money. Good thing that you are a good person but anyway you did not tell how much money the guy sent to you therefore as long as the transactions are below the regulation amount limit and you will passed the KYC process then everything is legal.
