Can you give me some tips how to build my town better?
My town is in a mess

Confirmed and BTC sent.

I would agree with monbux on posting a screenshot of your town layout. As a general rule from everything I've read, you should be focusing on just upgrading your roads, houses, and production buildings for the time-being.

I've found this blog to be quite useful on planning out my town and what to upgrade:

182  Economy / Securities / Re: Should we just delete the Active Mining Thread? on: December 14, 2013, 05:06:48 PM
You might find this funny. But recently Ken actually Locked the thread and shut it down for a good 30minutes or so after he and VE got in a fight. He then unlocked it, closing the thread is not a smart idea. We will then see dozen of posts about "What happened to AcTM??? Why is the thread locked? Omg Ken scammed us?!?!?!?!?!"

Keep it open, use the ignore button and stop complaining because you have to scroll through a few pages when you have big money tied up into shit. People need to stop being lazy. "Omg but Crumbs won't stop posting!! I feel like I'm gonna die!" So many god damn cry babies on this forum man.

We see those posts daily in the thread repeated over and over again. Are you going to pay the mods to keep it open? Someone has to prune the thread and quite frankly its a waste of their time and Ken's whenever they have to perform that task. (Time == Money) I have most of the people on ignore, it would be nice though to refresh the thread and not see "user is ignored" for an entire page of just Crumbs, VE, and LabKen talking to themselves. How is that helpful to anyone? Its not laziness its just annoying to have school kids whine and investor questions overlooked amidst all the personal battles being fought in the ActM thread.

What business do mods have in a self-moderated thread. If the mods can just delete whatever they feel like from a self-moderated thread, then what's the fucking of having the option to create a self-moderated thread is the first place.

Mods are getting involved because posts keep getting reported. It doesn't matter if it's self-moderated or not.

I would agree with JoTheKhan that if we were to delete the thread, it could cause panic to the less-informed shareholders who start posting "OMG We're being scammed" threads. That would just open the door for MORE crap, IMO. In terms of image, this wouldn't help us anymore than just leaving the thread alone.

So... who else is looking forward to those sweet, Satoshi divs once we get on Crypto-Trade? Verification program should be finished now. Maybe on Monday we'll enter into the verification process...

Weekly Update 12/11/13

Crypto-Trade:

Still working on the verification program, which should be finished this week.  After the verification program is finished we will have a time where shareholders will be able to verify their shares.  After that we will move this batch over to Crypto-Trade and start trading.  Lagers will still be able to verify there shares and will be moved to Crypto-Trade in batches.

In terms of the Intellihash sorcery (first rule of Intellihash...  Wink), I agree, understanding how that might affect us is total guess work, although Ozymandias seemed fairly confident that it might be a two week delay. Perhaps he, or someone with knowledge might be able to discuss this further.

Ken on IRC said he was going to be ellbows-deep in code for two weeks. Right after the end of that period, Christmas is coming up and I doubt he and everyone else in the chip/miners/assembly chain is working full force.

So, realistically it will be mid-to end-January.

You're giving him excuses
please go away
a lot of people will be working full force in many industries

There will be people working full-force, but wouldn't it be safe to be conservative and assume that someone in the chain will not be? I don't think it is necessarily an excuse to assume mid-late January for normal volume production.

Given a choice between crumbs and StuartUK, crumbs wins.

Crumbs is a nasty, smug, arrogant twad, who thinks he is smarterthan he is, but often is funny.

StuartUK is an incessantly vapid, boring writer. StuartUK posts message after message that make Ambien seem like a stimulant.
Crumbs is just mean and funny.

Crumbs is entertaining. StuartUK is numbing and painful.

Keep crumbs around for the lulz, and ban StuartUK.

Very bold insight, as always  Cheesy

But I agree; I find crumbs to be quite entertaining/refreshing at times. Everyone should be taking him with the same grain of salt taken with everything else in here.

Anyone else have this issue? My inventory values (among other values such as energy) aren't displaying on my Home screen (show up as blanks). I can see my inventory values from the Inventory page, however.

EDIT: Nvm, it is fixed for me now. Not sure what changed...

Bitfunder is OPEN.

Go get your records guys..  Smiley

In transaction history you can get date and time and number of shares transfered to AMC-TENDER.

I can't find a way to access the private address that was set as the receiving address for BTC in Bitfunder.   Huh

Can anyone remind me which email address we sent our tender requests to?

Was it tender@activeminingcorp.com? That's the only thing I have in my gmail history.
192  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 05, 2013, 09:42:48 PM
Hang on a tick?  What this about having a record of the transfer to AMC-TENDER?  That wasn't in the original set of instructions.

Quote
Investors who fail for any reason to provide the information necessary to obtain "Verified" status on Bitfunder are encouraged to transfer their shares on BitFunder to the Bitfunder user AMC-TENDER no later than November 13, 2013 before dividends are paid.  All Investors transferring their shares to this account will continue to accumulated dividends on their shares.

Once Bitfunder is back up you can log in and get the record of the tender. If you did not tender or do not have the record, Ukyo is providing all asset issuers with the appropriate records within a few days (hopefully). It was supposed to happen on Dec. 2nd but apparently was delayed.

Though since Kenneth has threatened to sue Ukyo, this curtesy may not be extended Undecided
*A fiendishly clever ploy!!1!

Well Ken just said that if all else fails, you will be able to use your registered BTC address to authenticate

Yes, if Bitfunder comes back up.  Should anyone not have access to that information, we will use their registered Bitcoin address as a backup.
193  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread [Self-Moderated] on: December 05, 2013, 08:18:01 PM
So I have not gotten an email yet. Has anyone else? How do we take control of our shares? Should I just hold my horses?

I have the same question; no email here as well. How are we going to authenticate our ownership of these accounts that are being set up for us?  Hopefully Ken will descend from the heavens soon to answer these inquiries.

To visit the VMC Website:

Pankkake has offered a bounty of 0.1 BTC for proof of working VMC hardware

Pankkake's offer has expired.

The loyalty here is both insane and totally unjustified.

Explain or no it isn't.
The very second this comes online for trading again, almost all shares will be dumped instantly, and 50% or more wont get out any higher than half of what they're planning. Ken will not keep his word on the guaranteed .0025. It will be a nasty feeding frenzy as more savvy investors manipulate the minds of the less wise ones here on the forums and in the chat boxes just so they can cash out as high as possible.

This company has missed every deadline it set, been non-responsive, and failed to produce any product, and yet you guys keep coming back for more - some of you actually get offensive towards people trying to actually help you out.

It's very odd, and could very well be the first case of digital stockholm syndrome here in the cryptocurrency world.

What deadlines are you referring to?  You can't mean the deadline he just made for the most significant news announcement to date can you?

Personally I can't see a nasty feeding frenzy happening, and I only need to judge that from having read so many bullish posts since the announcement.

When you say that Ken will not keep his word about the 0.0025, do you mean he will betray us, or do you think he will try but fail?

Why say the company has failed to produce any product when Ken just stated that first products were shipped last week?

Where are you getting your information? Do you know something that we don't or are you simply mistaken?

Come on, Zum, you know he's referring to the delay in chips with regards to not meeting deadlines. Although you are right that Ken has at least stated that first products HAVE been shipped. Have there been any confirmations from customers who have received their orders? [Not trying to troll I just genuinely want to know]

There is certainly a great desire for more communication from FC. However, one must realize what a double-edged sword that is. FC puts out a statement, and then for the next two weeks everyone on the forum is trying to examine every comma and every nuance to glean what the message "really" means. Everything gets twisted and interpreted, and in the end we are generally no better off than we were to begin with.

Sometimes I think watching 100 posts complaining of a lack of communication is preferable to 1000 posts arguing what the meaning of the word "is" is.

I dunno, have you seen the ActiveMining thread?  Wink

I'm about to dive into these 800 pages, but I see that AsicMiner is moving to direct shares after the bitfunder fiasco. Are there plans to move to a colored coins trading solution at some point?

AM is one of the few securities with a proven track-record, so I've always been interested... gotta start some due diligence

So, who's expecting a large div in January?

Did Ken say when the first profits from early hardware sales are likely to arrive as divs?

Still no word on when we'll be moved to Crypto-Trade?
