181  Other / Archival / Re: Mass adoption: Naming my child bitcoin on: January 17, 2023, 09:48:55 PM
That cannot change anything, naming your Child Bitcoin is like asking for some attention and not an encouragement and if you really want to help for mass adoption you should friend awareness and information about Bitcoin.

Just imagine the future of the child if you will name Bitcoin to him/her, bullying might also be the problem so better not to use this one and go for alternative option to help spread awareness, sharing is still a good one.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Anyone know why FTT price started to rise just now? on: January 16, 2023, 09:35:52 PM
$5 Billion recovered funds is a big news from them, that can be one of the reason why FTT is still moving.

I don’t know if there’s still a chance for FTX exchange to come back and let their users get their crypto out of that scammed platform. FTX should repay it with an additional fee for the damage cost, hoping that their users will get justice and their funds soon. That money can already compensate the users of their platform.
183  Local / Pilipinas / Re: May Cold Key Card holder ba dito?

Rigged? Manipulated? Shout out to those guys who keep on saying that on Social media. Ginebra just owned the Dragons and no need for that conspiracy and theories. The Game 7 poor and worst playing level of the Dragons is the result of the effective offense and defense that Ginebra showed.
Rumors like this are normal, especially if you’ll look at the numbers that’s a big money already.
Anyway, Ginebra did a great job and there is no doubt about it, I’m just curious about what happened to Bay Area, they played well in game 6 but last night, they didn’t perform.

That’s a huge crowd by the way, and for sure Ginebra fans dominated the whole arena and that affects the game of Ginebra. Luckily, I was able to place some bet for Ginebra, and enjoy their winnings too bad I wasn’t able to watch it live but I guess there’s always a next time. PBA will rest for now, let’s all see in the next conference.
185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy now? on: January 15, 2023, 10:17:37 PM
I think now it is quite possible to consider the purchase. At least, it seems to me that during such situations it is quite profitable to shop.
Profit will depend on your buying price and selling price, so buying right now can’t guarantee any return because it will still depend on your strategy towards the market. Just like the normal cycle, people are buying during the up trend so technically since we are still in a bear market buying right now can still be good. Your other option is to do cost averaging, where you can keep on buying from time to time which lowers the cost and increase your possible profit. If you see some correction that’s a good sign to buy, meaning the market is not fully recovered yet and still need more time before it pump.
186  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin balik 20k$ na ulet. Bear? on: January 15, 2023, 09:52:56 PM
Usually it takes years bago magbullrun ulet, is it a good time to reinvest? or wait sa masmababang presyo?

Simple lang naman — kung bullish ang isang tao sa bitcoin in the long-term, accept the fact nalang na sobrang hirap ipredict ang markets so one of the best solutions is to dollar(or peso, in this case) cost average.

https://dcabtc.com/
Eto yung nagin strategy ko the whole bear market, kase nakakastress if you will focus that much on the price trend and iba-iba naman talaga tayong strategy, pero as a long term investor dapat alam mo kung saan ka magiinvest.

I do averaging with Bitcoin and other top altcoins, medyo nakakainip pero slowly but surely the market will recover and mas malaki ang chance mo na mas malaki ang kitain. Sa tingin ko ren patapos na ang bear market, and nalalapit na ang green days, konting tiis pa at posible ito this year.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm planning on hosting a BTC seminar and a friend also followed my path on: January 15, 2023, 09:34:19 PM
Some people are even showing more interest in Bitcoin in my City, I am thinking of hosting a seminar about Bitcoin but I want to make sure I invite the right people, have anyone hosted a BTC seminar before? Any good advice on this?
This is a good initiative, what I can advice is that talk about pros and cons honestly, don’t just talk about the positive side, talk about the bad side as well.

Also, don’t feel bad if your explanation is still not ok for them, because that is already their own responsibility to explore more and to do their own research. Never force them to follow your advices, encourage them to search more about Bitcoin. I have my experience attending small seminar like this, and its a big help for the startup and beginners.
188  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 14, 2023, 11:11:31 PM
That's not something that should be accepted by any of the casinos in the market because we are talking about a situation where they are not at fault at all and yet they are seen as the faulty one.
I disagree with this part. Casinos are definitely at fault irrespective of whether their customers use 2FA or not since their security system failed against hacker attacks leading to total chaos.

This is one of the primary reasons why so many gamblers choose old and reliable sites over new ones since their security systems are more trustworthy.
2FA is only for the safety of the gamblers but when it comes to the security of the whole platform it is the responsibility of the site and they should use the highest security to protect the money of the gamblers and of course their identities.

Many new sites are not focusing on this one, some already suffered while some are still struggling. New sites should pay attention to this one, trusting them is not easy at all because every gamblers wants a peace of mind and if there’s a security issue with the site, better to leave it.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Yearly Trend on: January 14, 2023, 10:40:25 PM
If that cycle will continue, then we can expect a better price before the year end and that is something that we should be prepared especially this year as we prepared for the next halving.

This trend might true as well as we’ve seen a good pump early this year, most probably this is the start of the recovery but to be safe better not to expect that much. I still see halving will be the big reason why the price will pump, and its slowly coming.
190  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Negative Perception sa PH Crypto Start-up project on: January 14, 2023, 08:07:50 AM

191  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] | Best Bitcoin Mixer | Low fees | Fully automated on: January 14, 2023, 07:31:53 AM
So, it is not a free mixing service. Right?

Also, what are the minimum & maximum value that you can mix at one go?
There's no mixing services that are free, and you must consider the fees before doing your transactions.
With YoMix, they offer a cheaper fees for their services but the mining fees will always depend on the traffic of the network you are going to use.
Be mindful with the minimum though so your transactions will  proceed, as per latest 0.001 BTC is the minimum and if you experience some problem better to communicate right away with their support to address your concern.
192  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should I keep my BNB or Sell it? on: January 14, 2023, 07:02:53 AM
Hi, I'm new to here. So just want to ask your help or guide.

I have currently 800$ worth BNB. These are got from NFT that I sold back months ago that I got from airdrop. So what i need to know should I convert it to stable coin or should I invest it for bitcoin? Because my friends say that BNB don't have a future anymore. So I'm fully worry about this.
Have you checked your BNB right now? I hope you didn't sell yet after two days because right now the price of BNB is better.

BNB is one of the top altcoins, even if there's a fud I still see its future on a good side and with that I'm also planning to increase my holdings even on its current price because this is not a bull run yet and we might see a better price in the next few months.

Don't sold if you don't need the money, there's no better NFTs compare to BNB, I'll still choose it over the other project.

194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Basically All Small Cap Staking Coins Had this problem on: January 08, 2023, 11:52:29 PM
Airdrop would have no value.  The only value is if they keep staking maybe in a year that the coin would be worth 10x as much, being on an exchange with an explorer, and having a team, old coin with website, etc.
Some airdrop last year made a huge price increase with their value, and many hunters was able to get their reward at a huge profit. If this strategy doesn’t work, then the developer should look for alternatives and as a hunter its also our responsibility to understand the project before promoting it, if there’s still a problem it will be hard for that token to pump.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is The level on impact of FTX crash on Your portfolio? on: January 08, 2023, 11:06:37 PM
1. I have an account on FTX but I don’t hold any funds, probably loss my personal data there and I don’t know if I got exposed on a lot of platform because of that.
2. FTX influence the bear market, honestly I lose some funds because of the FUD and I was not able to sell right away, fortunately its not big. FTX is dead, no more hope for this and if you got trap better to keep going with your other investment.
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 08, 2023, 10:35:37 PM
Losing is a game changer, this will be your moment to reflect and know what to do next, either to get frustrated with your losses or just continue to learn. I remember experiencing my first loss its not that big but its really depressing since its your hard earned money, so yeah i learn more from my losses which I believe is also the trend.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT Speculation on: January 08, 2023, 10:17:56 PM
don't worry about NFT, NFT still has a lot of potential to continue its bullish trend in the next cycle,
especially for NFT from play to earn or the metaverse I'm sure this NFT will be very useful and have more value in the future,
we know how NFT is created and hype occurs , and maybe it will happen again in the future, if you still have NFT then keep it,
don't regret it because your regrets are not yours alone.
Play to earn NFT is dead already, the hype is not there anymore and most of them are not play to earn anymore, its more on invest to earn now. Though of course NFT can still offer a lot of services and probably they will continue to innovate and yes I’m also hoping that they can regain their good position in the next bull run, if there’s another good project NFT might be the trend again.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Cassino Continue With Wagering Requirements, If Abuse is Eliminated? on: January 08, 2023, 09:57:43 PM
Even if there’s no abuse, wagering will still be there as it is part of the strategy of the site to encourage more gamblers to try the site by playing it and not just go after the bonus, this could be a requirement that stays on most of the bonuses. You’ll be lucky if you see some promotions that didn’t require any wager just like on a betting contest or any contest that requires some work, usually is a wager free and you can get your bonus right away.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the future of digital currencies? on: January 07, 2023, 11:47:59 PM
I'd love to learn more about cool projects and concepts that could be the evolution of blockchain (again, not altcoins please  Wink)
This is cryptomarket where the top coin is Bitcoin and the rest are considered altcoins, so you mean you are looking for another Bitcoin? I guess it will not happen in cryptomarket, maybe on a different market but not here. Cryptocurrency is still the trend and it might last longer, it will be hard to compete with Bitcoin where all the cons already compliments by the altcoins, Satoshi’s mind are already out with the good altcoins developer.
200  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Banking is more reliable and faster on: January 07, 2023, 11:20:17 PM
I can boldly say that Bitcoin Banking is more reliable and fast because Bitcoin transactions is been done through wallet, the only problem that may occur is if the wallet is not correct another challenge is if the transaction is been encountered with down network but this is in rare cases.
Faster transactions, I agree since banks takes a lot of time before you get your money and when you go to their physical banks, you’ll see a lot of people waiting for their turn to deposit their money, this is the situation in my country and its very hassle and a poor system. With Bitcoin, everything works fine as long as you did it correctly and as long as you didn’t expose your money into bad projects, you’ll be safe.
