181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's Happening .... The secrets of 21 inc revealed, and its what we hoped for. on: May 13, 2015, 04:56:22 PM
Can someone bring me up to speed on this 21 inc? I have apparently missed everything about it.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ONE Minute Blocks! Bitcoin as fast as Dogecoin, faster than Litecoin? VOTE on: May 11, 2015, 12:03:19 PM
I fear this would have a lot of consequences. I'd rather we did this slowly, from 10 to 8, from 8 to 6 or 5, over the years.

184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese team released software to mine Satoshi's coin on: May 04, 2015, 02:26:10 AM
Even if Satoshi gave you half of his private key and let you guess the rest of the numbers, you still couldn't do it in a sensible timeframe. Don't waste your breath on such dead simple software for private key cracking.
185  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: JUST HAD 0.92329 BTC STOLEN - HOW??? on: May 02, 2015, 11:52:25 AM
A VM tries to keep bad stuff in, if the virus had infected your PC, doesn't matter if you were using a VM, however it would have to know and handle the fact that there is a VM.
186  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Just a thought about variance. on: April 27, 2015, 08:03:43 PM
So what would realistically happen if we were to in say 10 years have such bad variance? Like say, 24hrs with no block?
187  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Just a thought about variance. on: April 27, 2015, 07:42:03 AM
It occurred to me, when playing dice games there's like some chance of having really long losing streaks, but they are not impossible. So isn't it then possible for mining to have some chance of having longer and longer rounds with no blocks, for the entire network?
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kraken to honor Mt. Gox bitcoin claims on: April 24, 2015, 04:14:45 PM
So, I am not sure what % people will get back, but I assume that we will have a lot of selling of those recovered BTCs.

I know i wont be, think im something like $10k down if i sold, i will hold for a long time, im waiting out for many thousands on the bitcoin tbh, current prices are waste of time.
Good for you, but I meant that there are likely people who lost too much because of mtgox and may have various debts/loans they need to repay, or simply bad financial situation due to gox.

190  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many of you signature campaign posters sell your coins once you received it? on: April 22, 2015, 12:38:52 PM
Speaking of the ad-campaigns, I am thinking of signing up for one, can anyone tell me the one with the least requirements? I am low on bitcoins, and...well, I need to earn some pronto.
191  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who is 'LOADED' on: April 17, 2015, 01:12:07 AM
I was accused of being his sock once. Now I learn he has 182,000 BTC.

Post addy or it never happend Smiley

OP is in the form of a question for a reason. Smiley

I know but the address he has on profile is only 80,000 BTC

 Shocked

Only 80,000 hey!? I see what you mean that is not that much is it, would be nice if i could see just 80! That guy is seriously loaded he has a good name for what he has stacked away. I would check that address everyday, plz be there plz be there lol Unbelievable profit that guy has made.
For somebody with a shitloaded of money, he is pretty dumb holding it all in a single address.
192  Other / Off-topic / DPR mentioned in Supernatural S10E18 on: April 17, 2015, 12:36:49 AM
Around the 28:45 mark or so.

EDIT:May not actually be linked to Silk Road, kind of disappointing, but they have mentioned Bitcoin before so..

194  Other / Off-topic / Re: [SPOILER ALERT] One Piece Manga Discussion [SPOILER ALERT] on: April 09, 2015, 06:45:44 PM
I watched the anime back in late 2009 and later read the manga, around chapter 500 or 600+ but haven't read it in a long time.

197  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Directory.io - Now with balances! on: April 02, 2015, 10:35:10 PM
I would usually caution against installing any Chrome extensions, because they update silently, and can include various keylogging stuff.
198  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can i learn to use the market to make a profit on: April 02, 2015, 01:56:29 AM
This type of thing takes YEARS to learn, I'm afraid. You'd have to do like 6+ months of FOREX on a demo account, to learn all types of patterns, trading strategies and whatnot, try and lose your real money on FOREX first, and maybe just maybe start to get the hang of it to do Bitcoin.

Or try blind luck.
199  Other / Off-topic / Re: NSFW - Naked Volleyball -NSFW on: April 02, 2015, 01:27:30 AM

that 1 eyed woman from futurama could have 1 boob.
If women only had one Boob instead of two would it then be called a Dob?

Well shiit. Why isn't this on reddit?
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did Satoshi managed to stay anonymous? on: March 30, 2015, 12:40:30 AM
I think he wasn't discovered because by the time Bitcoin gained more attention and traction, he was already gone with most trails(if any) of him had already disappeared.

I mean think about it. In 2008 he posts a paper discussing decentralized electronic cash, but nobody believes him or interest is too low. At this point nobody is really trying to figure out who he is. By the end of 2010 Bitcoin does gain more attention than in the beginning, but...was it enough to have CIA,NSA,FBI after him? Doubt it. Today though, different story.
