188  Economy / Gambling / Re: [Ice-Dice.com] 500,000 Satoshi Giveaway for 500,000 Bets Made On Site! on: October 20, 2013, 09:05:04 PM
Lol, you have to spend 20 minutes junping through hoops to maybe get 0.005 which you must then somehow turn into 1 btc to cash out??? How is this a giveaway?

you don't have to spend 20 minutes, you click 2 buttons, enter your twitter account, then you are done. It takes 10 seconds for the people who are not trying to cheat the system.

Once you get the 0.005, and if you deposit anything say 1btc, play a few more rounds, then the withdraw requirement makes no difference to you. The 0.005 would be like a no string attached free giveaway. For those who do not want to deposit and just want the free coins, it is not impossible as someone today started with 0.005, and won 12 bets in a row and cashed out, as well as few others cashed out as well. I have to make it hard for those free loader that just want to cheat the system.

THATS A LIE I DID EXACTALY AS YOU SAID AND COULD NOT WITHDRAW I SAVED THE CHAT IF YOU WANT ME TO POST IT!!!+ YOU ARE LOGGING IP ADDRESSES!!!

FF\/K YOU = PAY ME!!!

I'm just going to ignore you completely from now on. Take care!

thats what you have been doing... thats why i'm still here you gotta pay me out someday no?. Plus be honest who came up with the idea to promote on twitter?hmmmm  : me your first investor!! Roll Eyes

" That's a good idea. "

yes because you know all i will point out is damaging to your ponzi "investment vehicle" , i'm here to expose the obvious!!

" That's not right.  I get 10% of new net investor profits each week.  That is, I only take commission if the site profits.  That is, only if players lose.

You may be getting confused with the house edge, which is 1%.  That just means that the odds are set such that each play expects to lose 1% of everything they risk in the long term.  But a) that 1% is kind of theoretical - the actual house profit depends on luck and b) the house profit goes to the investors, not me; I only take 10% of that house profit as commission.

But your overall point is still sound - there's no need for me to cheat because the odds are already in the house's favour, and mathematics will make sure that the house wins in the long run. "

imho 10% chance they user walks away with any of his bank+
your maths(the way it's coded) will make sure that the house wins in the long(short) run.

More to the point, I *can't* cheat without it becoming obvious.  The rolls are all provably fair.

IT'S OBVIOUS!!!!! PLUS YOU ARE PROLLY WHALES!!!! Grin

PROVABLY
FAIR? =
KOOL AID!!!

DO YOU KNOW HOW STUPID YOU LOOK SAYING THAT IN THIS DAY?LOLOLOL
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I generated an address that already exists on: October 20, 2013, 08:43:13 PM
The odds for duplicate address aren't "only" 1 in 2^160. It's similar to the birthday paradox, where it only takes 23 people for a 50% probability

Sure, but there are only 365 possible birth dates. Not 2^160 Wink (which is more than 2.74 * 2^157 times as much)

yes but whos is keeping a tally on current Bitcoin users and of those how many have many instances!~then the bot address exploiter/sniffers,,, double spending hybrids dust generation blah blah blah Gavin will save us!  Grin
192  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: October 20, 2013, 05:54:23 PM
Quick Update

The original vague range of October 20s is now made accurate at October 27th, when the projected publication of financial reports. This time it will be more detailed and informative than the last time's.

Upcoming scheduled to be happening (in time order):

Imminent repricing according to the market and the quantity.
Immersion cooling exhibition.

And magically big sell walls disappeared! ASICMINER to da MoOoOoN ^_^

I have alot of spare time lately but not alot of money and I'm looking for a project to pour my energy and expertise into.
Don't worry about the money, you'll have plenty if you hang out here for long.  But, I've got to warn you the competition is good.  You'll have to program some slick stuff if you want to take an MSC bounty.  The last contest just ended - a new is about to begin.  Mastercoin project has over $800,000 in the bank so plenty to give away.

wow nice is there anything I could do to promote for you guys i've been dropping hints on the options desk!  Cool thank you! looking good/\
195  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Submit a review and get .005 btc, help listings get recognition! on: October 20, 2013, 05:36:02 PM
I don't remember which ones you were not paid out for. The system should have sent you emails alongside the ones you didn't get payouts for. Secondly you run the risk of not being paid out for what I mentioned above. It will be published regardless of a payout or not (unless it does not qualify for that listing or is inappropriate). This is a promotion when you click submit you agree to the terms I outlined. Your posts are turning into spamming to make a quick btc and not reviewing whats relevant.

But for instance:

"Mt. Gox has been the keystone in the bitcoin universe. Started trading tradeable "magic" cards they developed into a large full on powerhouse exchange. Problems have emerged recently that are still up in the air with U.S. regulators and litigation with another bitcoin company. I'd wait and see before going too big here right now."

That is a describing the history and current events and issuing a warning. It isn't reviewing the service they provided to you. A review would be something like: "I used Mtgox for a while until recently when they dropped dwolla support. Their trade engine is slow and buggy. They seemed to have another issue with withdrawing USD. I would not recommend them at all. I'd use x instead until mtgox has figured out their problems."

Here is another example:
"Private Internet Access is the VPN Service provider used for bitcointalk and many otother popular bitcoin related websites. They are very reliable and have a stateside legal team. I like how they are eager to address issues in a timely mnner and have great customer support."

Reviewing a vpn context is key, if you review a vpn make it towards a VPN: "I got consistent speed's and I like the fact they take bitcoin to stay anonymous. I use their VPN client to connect and have had little issues with it. I am able to download at 90% my original bandwidth' etc I've noticed that my IP has stayed hidden to outside providers."

I sent you a PM on October 19, 2013, 04:23:44 AM (server time), warning you of the issue if you'd like me to post that PM here I'd be more than glad to.

all address are unique you cant generate the same address

read op he just did!!!  Shocked
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I generated an address that already exists on: October 20, 2013, 05:20:31 PM
it's impossible* to generate an address already used.

what happened here is that the user had already used the address for a change address sending a transaction, or mining - and when he clicked 'generate' it just assigned that.

I repeat - it's impossible* for this to happen.

Will

* practically impossible - i.e. 1 in 2^160 which is less chance that you entering every lottery worldwide every week since lotteries were invented and winning the jackpot each time.

anything is possible, i wonder if you could bruteforce an old addy into someone elses client throught compromised hijack?
