Hi guys!  I saved some money in the last year, now I'm looking for some opportunity in this kind of market to invest my money. Is it better buy altcoins or bitcoin? maybe mining? I'm just a bit confused, but determinate! Since you are new, I agree with above posters about buying bitcoin and holding it at FIRST. -Buy bitcoin and hold it until you are comfortable with cryptocurrencies. -Then watch the altcoin market -Try to understand the dynamics of it -Observe pump&dump scenes -Observe new altcoins and its FUDs and 99.9% dumps -Get a general concept about the altcoin trading -When you accomplished all above steps, you can reserve at most %10 to altcoins. -Trade with altcoins and be very cautious, select only good altcoins (this seems very subjective but its not too much. However, it takes too much time to explain it) -You can both lose and profit very high amounts bitcoins. -If you are successfull with altcoin trading , you can SLOWLY increase your altcoin investment. And maximum rate -I think- 50 % of your total bitcoins. If youre not successul, dont try to much. Just forget about your little loss and continue to stick with Bitcoin. -Dont forget the golden rule: BUY at cheap and wait enough to sell at higher price. And final question comes, how do you understand or determine the price is cheap? Well , magic is there, if you can do this very successfully , then youre rich To sum up, If you dont know Bitcoin, buying and waiting long enough is nest best option. However , when you feel comfortable , altcoin trading offers very good profit options with including risks. And even you are comfortable with Bitcoin, try all above steps before trading altcoins, otherwise, youre gonna lose most probably. |

I have been pondering about this idea for some time now, and I think this could be done several times, but is it advisable to sell your bitcoins together with the wallet.dat and privkeys? I just thought that if Satoshi's coin hadn't move for a long time, maybe he/she sold it using this method. I'm not entirely sure about the idea, but is possible. Are there any consequences if I did this thing to "sell" my bitcoins?
I really dont understand. Why do you want to sell your coins with wallet.dat? Do you think will it worth more than its balance? If so , why people give extra money for your wallet when there are lots of issues like another copy of your wallet. |

The number of different periods I posted in with this account is 41, period is approximately two weeks, 1-14 of a month and 15-end of a month. 41 periods * 14 activity is potential activity 574 Hi joemin, Why dont you put your sr member to auction? I believe you can get higher offers (but not too much) than 0.25 BTC. Do you mean network difficulty, or the total hash rate of the network? I don't expect we'll see either grow 1000 fold again, not without completely new mining technology or bitcoin value going through the roof; neither of which are sure things.. I mean total hash rate but could be network difficulty since its just a(n approximate) conversion of it. Anyway, I said 1000x for visualisation purposes. I also didnt say in a near future. My purpose is to understand how the variance behaves when network hash rate grows enourmously than todays. |

We had some very low days the 23rd and 24th were very low and the 21st and 25th were very high. this pattern looks like variance more then a trend. but who knows.
Do you think as network hash increase does also variance increase? Or are they totally independent of each other? Im asking this because Im curious about that in the future whether we can see that kind of variance or not when network hash is 1000x of current one. Regards... |

well I want to pay but I dont have enough money...and btw 1st I want to test my plan by making a small prototype if it is good then ofcourse I can pay everyone Hi Mehek, If you dont have money and really believe in your project and want some good developer/s, you need to follow below IMHO: 1-) Make a concrete business plan, specify your milestones , requirements etc. 2-) Open a Crowdfunding campaign in kickstarter or equivalent CF sites. Do not hesitate to express your project in a rough detail. If CF campaign is succesfully funded, then you can have confidence that your project can go somewhere 3-) If you get enough money then hire some developer/s for your project 4-) Finish your project If you aply above steps succesfully , maybe you can do what you have in your mind. Otherwise, its very very hard to get any developer for your project. |

So you're offering escrow, to improve positive feedbacks? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Having a lot of positive feedback, and then offering escrow.
Also I don't see why others would use you as they have other more reputable escrows to choose from.
Generally a new altcoin is developed by a Newbie. I'm a senior member since January 2014 and some positive feedback and no negative. Logically if someone has more feedback than me, he won't look at this thread. The purpose of escrow is securing funds in a trusted 3rd party. As I see from your trust , you have 2 untrusted feedback from SAME person. I think this is not enough for escrow. You have already stated that you are member since 2014 but unfortunately this means nothing. There are lots of accounts sold in Auctions and digital goods section. You can be right but you should prove yourself before becoming escrow. |
