I'm not yet buying Altcoins, but I'm kinda interested ya'h know. Buying altcoins is different from doing campaign and receiving bounties. It's a form of investment in which you invest on something that does not have any value. But in any case it's still good to buy some altcoins because it might boom sometime.

This month of February 2018 ETH's value is fluctuating this time around so it basically there are many chances when to invest, probably when the coin hits i ts lowest to gain much higher profit in the end. Anyway investing in ETH is very much reasonable because it might take BTC position one day.

This February 2018  ETH is still one of the best coins in the market. If you're asking is it OK to invest in ETH, well yes it is but it's different when to invest because ETH's value is fluctuating and it's somewhat riskier to invest if you're waiting for the lowest value to come then invest and then hold and wait. My top 2 altcoins right now is NEM and Steem because these two coins dominate the market for the longest time. New coins that recently have been made make it harder to hit the market because a lot of shit coins are widely spreading in the blockchain.

Bitcoin's has gone intermittently and it is riskier to hold it because it might get smaller. Now the best thing to do is to find a new campaign or ICO which you could invest and earn bounties in this way the popularity of crypto might still increase. But the down side here is that there is no guarantee that your money could ever doubled or bounties you earn might increase its value in the near future.

Crypto Currencies now is out of control because a lot of shit coins are in the market in and no one knows which among of these coins will succeed. Ethereum can't be a scam because it got a lot of value and it secures a good position in the crypto world. Block chain is in its growth stage, meaning many things can still happen which is beyond our control.
