Labcoin 2.0
182  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 30, 2013, 03:59:23 PM
The current price is still ridiculously high if labcoin where a pure moneygrab and run. Its still selling for 1/4 of its IPO when most investors hoped this could be Asicminer 2.0. The current price is at a point that would have been more reasonable from the start for a high risk venture that may or may not yield limited amounts of 180/130nm chips so late in the game, the price is not reasonable for a venture that would have been proven a scam.

My guess is that there is some truth to the lie and once the price has sunk further there will be another pump and dump PR push showing some stuff that should have been shown months ago, along with bold promises and vague statements about who is who. And right now, they are buying back their own stock, which is why its not 0.000001 yet.

I think you summed it up

In addition to it all we will likely see 2-5 TH within a few days backed by there PR which would cause the buying frenzy.

Then the final sell off

THEY HAVE SENT THEIR CHIPS/BOARDS OUT NOT GETTING ANYTHING BACK UNTIL OCTOBER 15TH

DO YOU HONESTLY BELIEVE THEM IN SAYING THEY SENT EVERYTHING OUT AND THAT THEY ARE GETTING THEM BACK OCTOBER 15TH!?!?!

So what's the theory on why he changed his age from 39 to 27?

*shrug*

I just find it funny actually.  I will let others speculate

Question:

Could the last few missed deadlines been ways to buy more time to make a run for it?

This isn't going to go quietly.  This is very bad for bitcoin in general.

They will need the head start.

We need a major sell off then labcoin will magically appear

It's hilarious that people are still buying this thing, after another massive missed deadline, you have to be triple dumb buying at these prices lol

I'm buying on the big dips and have been selling at around .00035
I'm doing good for a fund that's dead.  I'm just waiting for the next big drop

thSwede,  Could you please take a moment to respond to these two questions?  I think the answers if truthful and non-damaging would help a lot.

theSwede, who all have you had contact with?

Alessia? If so, when was the last time?
Sam? If so, were you on a Skype or phone conversation where you could infer nationality?

A Labcoin appears just as the price tanks. Haven't we seen that before?

Also, where's the million shares?

Some amounts of shares were used as payouts for team members, including theSwede.

Labcoin claimed when asked about the missing MILLION shares that they were used to pay you.  Could you please confirm or deny that assertion?

labcoin never said that they were used to pay Swede. They were used to pay team members, like Swede, Alessia, etc. Alessia sold one of those three infamous Avalons to raise funds for the initial tape out

I helped her sell it and received 1500 shares in compensation.

Can you post a screenshot of the 1500 shares transfer

what I don't get is that if there won't be any trading soon, and there is no new exchange, how does one retain ownership of the shares?  how do we know there will even be a new exchange at this point?

Labcoin and Swede keep mentioning Bitfunder, but we have yet to see an official announcement from Ukyo or labcoin
190  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 29, 2013, 03:16:58 PM
Yeah.  At the same time, though I think LC could use a board to oversee what's going on. And also offer assistance and in terms of how to manage things.

One of the reasons why the share price is in so much trouble is the rising difficulty.  If this was a year ago, it wouldn't be much of a problem if they got delayed by a month or so.  ASICMiner had issues as well.  B1 Avalons were delayed a month or two, but their owners are still pretty happy.

The problem now is that with KnC, Cointerra, and the like there's not much room for error, before bitcoin mining becomes unprofitable.

The difficulty is not such a big problem here because this is not a normal mining security. This is a security that owns an asic design. That means they can create miner at cost. Thats fundamentally different to securities that have to buy miner for nearly enduser prices. Those last securities arent much better than when you buy hardware yourself. And you know it wont be a big success. But securities like labcoin can create the miners at cost and on top they will grow the mine. So the difficulty isnt a big problem.
I admit... i invested in 2 other normal mining projects, that dont own their own design, in the hope that the previous patterns of other mining securities are repeated. They went up and then slowly dropped. But since all the panic is going on in all mining securities now this wont work anymore. My bad. But companies like labcoin, that own their own asic design, are different.

Regarding the scam claims... they didnt run with the money because they wanted to earn more later? How that? I mean they still have 2million shares. Where is the sense when this would be planned as a scam? It would have been so easy to fake a miner. I could do this myself. Then when the shareprice is rising sell the 2 million shares. Easy as pie. Instead they post unfortunate news and know that it makes the price drop. So they are bagholding scammers? Really?

If this is a scam then its a scam done exceptionally bad.

You make valid points.

I actually jumped back in earlier this morning with a small position.

I would of course point out that Labcoin will be bringing more hash rate online through the week, months and coming months. The team is also working on choosing an exchange for share transfer.

Some shares? Dude 1 fucking million are missing.  That's 1/3 of your company's shares

And to top it off they are suppose to be locked

Edit 1/3 of what your suppose to hold/keep

29 September update

We took the decision to outsource the troubleshooting  and final touches of the mining boards to an external party.
Delivery of the finalized hardware will take place before 15 October.
All the informations that are being posted are totally made up and there's no direct connection between Labcoin and the people mentioned.
Labcoin operation is not a scam, we are struggling with technical difficulties but still mining with our hardware and paying dividends.
As  promised, as soon hardware get delivered we will bring online the full mining power and dividend payments will reflect this.
We are still holding our labcoin shares on btct.co and still plan on transferring to bitfunder, this process though has  slowed down due to their strict requirements and all accusations being thrown at us are not helping.
We ask everyone to keep calm and avoid spreading false informations.

Why are 1 million shares missing
197  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: September 29, 2013, 01:04:51 AM
All things being equal 0.0003 is a decent price to get in at just for the gamble.  I would say don't get in too deep but you can't deny that is a bargain price.  Again don't risk you life savings here but there is a lot of upside potential now. This is a triple bottom - a very bullish sign - so you are more likely than not to make money here rather than lose it.

Ofcourse should LabCoin sort this mess out and start some serious hashing then a buy here could make you a nicely wealthy man. Good luck everyone.

Alas, the triple bottom thing applies more to stocks backed by brick and mortar assets, with LABCOIN you just buy nothing and hope someone will buy SOON, higher. It's just greater fool's theory, but everyone is losing at this endgame stage. Get out...

The double bottom held firm so that disproves your statement.  Big players take note of support levels.  It doesn't matter what the security is,  a level that has attracted buyers before will do so again, and for logical reasons.

They have no chips so it doesn't matter

Price is going to collapse withi. 48 hrs

Very soon.
