BTC is one of the most manipulated things we see in finance sector nowadays. We are not repeating anything. We are just getting started.

This project idea is really creative with a hardworking team. Promising application with bright future. Looking forward to hearing more about it. A new niche which is perfect for our blockchain community

Of course BTC. There is no altcoin without BTC. Right now (maybe for a couple of years) there is no blockchain without BTC. I don't mean blockchain technology is not available, cuz btc is the voice of blockchain and ALTs. We all withnessed last 2 months. All alts just got rekt with btc's movements...

I heard of a good ICO this week - Open Platform. It is told to be one of the best ICOs in Q1 2018.
Open Platform canceled its crowdsale and will close the hard cap on presale - giving preference to long-term partners. There will be airdrops for developers, bounty, and whitelisted participants.

There is this super cool guy "Philakone" on twitter and youtube. You can watch and learn great stuff from that guy. A perfect day trader. I've been following him for the last month, learned a lot. He doesn't charge anything and he is super funny. I adore intelligent people.

I don't recommend any new coins on kucoin... I was hit like 3 months ago when they had these huge campaigns. Right now kucoin is not that hit anymore, so the coins...
I see really good coins on IDEX.
I will consider the coins on decentralized exchanges when the bull run begins. Right now my cool coins are: MAN, REBL, CPChain

I thought I had to wait till the bear market was over. But I started feeling really depressed. So I started margin trading.
If you are doing normal trading, you hope, expect and force the market to go up. But, in margin trading, it is not important.
You can make a profit if BTC is going up or down, you just have to identify the trend. To be honest, it is not easy but once you identify the trend, it is not important if it is uptrend or downtrend.

In this situation, you have to watch BTC very carefully. All alts are following BTCs pattern. It is also a very important point for BTC in short-term view.
At the moment, some people considering BTC is testing EMA 21. It is solid resistance and if we see BTC above 9.3/9.4k this short-term downtrend will be over and we can wait for EMA 55 and downtrend line to be crossed to finish overall downtrend.
Some people are waiting for EMA 200 and EMA 55 cross to sell huge amounts of BTC which can cause a huge dump for BTC.

I would just wait a little longer and see what BTC will do. You can follow BTC movements and buy a coin with low market cap value. Don't think that it is a right point right now.

Well I don't think so. Actually it can depend on the coin and exchange you are in.
If you are playing with BTC or ETH in any exchange you will be just a fish.
You can play with low cap coins in small exchanges, maybe you can be considered a whale. However those exchanges won't have any volume so you will have to wait days to sell and buy coins...

I don't know if I should be happy that none of my coins are gonna be delisted. When bittrex delists coins generally they have a huge pump right before. I need that pump actually, on the other hand, they can have a huge dump.
people who are holding these coins should be really cautious. Really dangerous market... Good luck

I have been watching closely REBL since the airdrop, got myself 1k from the airdrop then 10k later from the exchange. I think the swap will have a huge pump effect on it. BTW they have a great staking system.

3- I'd consider not buying some ICOs but attending some bounties, maybe spending around 1 hour per day for some promising ICO's. My bounty favorites are
Medichain and HealthNexus. I wouldn't buy any ICOs because when they hit the market their price's are going down (last 2 months were like this)
4- I have some Espers, asked the bitcointalk community about how wise is it to hold it. I decided to hold after I read the responses. I have some HTML and Mooncoin too but around $30.

6- Short and long play can be considered. Be cautious though, it is too easy to get liquidated

I was really into QSP, I still think that it is a promising project. But what I want right now is to see it having a 3x pump so I can just get rid of it

I expect to see them cheaper in BTC value. I do not care for $ value because in a certain amount of time BTC will go surely up so we should focus only on growing BTC. There are no signs of market recovery. It is moving very slowly. So, I am no longer buying alts if you want to catch the bottom. Best time to buy alts will be after big move (BTC will go over 13k or under 5-6k ). Both of these situations will cause an increase of BTC dominance and ALTs could go even lower. If you are holding something, it is very risky to sell now and hope to buy 10% lower. I would not risk so much for that small gain.

I think the reason can be the little pump season. It started last week with some bittrex coins and than jumped to Binance, we saw AION x2 (damn it, I didn't have the sell order!)

I want to point out something. I had an old account back in December (1,5 years old maybe, I didn't use much don't even remember), I was checking out stuff, reading, writing short answers didn't care a lot about what I was writing, however, due to the old system I became a "member" because I had just bunch of posts.

But if some new person signs up today, who is enthusiastic about the forum or the currencies, he/she will have to beg or buy or 'write clever informing articles' or be friends with high ranked ones...

I think merit system turned the forum into the real Bitcoin. The older you had it, the more profitable and powerful you are. I am okay with my rank, can use signatures that's enough.
