I can imagine, now that bitcoin becomes more and more mainstream, that more forks will follow next year. However does a negative hardfork impact bitcoin in the future?
I am personally, SO SICK, of all the btc forks. I think each one is a more desperate money grab than the next. And I honestly think they only harm the crypto community. I personally refuse to support by trading, mining, or dealing with btc hardfork coins ... Agree. Hopefully people are getting tired of this concept soon. Maybe the next scam cycle is crypto kitties copies.  |

i got 2000 earthcoins in a paper wallet if anyone wants them? i don't think they're worth a single dollar but I'm glad to pass private keys on to any real charity that wants them
If I remember it correctly, I have millions of earthcoin in cryptsy.com It is lost forever now. It is one of the worst investments for me. They are most likely dumped on btc38 months ago. Someone got access to most of the wallets of worthless coins and dumped them. |

You are more likeluy to pick a 0.1x  If you are chasing 10x i would go for small market cap coins. DeepOnion could go 10x the next 2 months since most of the coins are tied up for airdrops. |

Litecoin price will probably follow bitcoin. If bitcoin goes up I suspect litecoin and ethereum to follow. Coinbase is the main reason. These are the coins that are most available for institutional investors.

read the forum i'm picking up on, people who lack ability attempting to modify code they don't really understand, and by the adaption of the coin could totally ruin the coin, it's called Primecoin, for a reason. due to the way it's coded and it's more complex than to let someone come along and try modify it with a limited ability and skill. you'd have to be proper good, and i'm not getting that vibe from what i read here. you'd cause more damage by screwing it.
Its not that easy to manipulate primecoin as most other old coins since it is much better distributed. For other coins "scammers" could easily buy 50% of the coins, do a "relaunch" and dump on the new "investors". I hope this don't happen with primecoin. |

The best option is simply to ignore all the coming forks. If one of them becomes valuable you can always redeem them later if you control your private keys. Don't keep bitcoin on exchanges.

My plan was not to roll back. Rather make a small change to create a mega block for myself that I will send to Cryptopia. Waiting for Rey to finalize the CP server. As long as no more attacks can happen in the future, I don't see any reason to roll back either. |

Just lately I am following a little this project because I keep hearing it here in bitcointalk. May I could have bought some if you are listed in Bittrex or in some exchanges that I have an account. Try to list this coin in other exchanges especially there is a solid community.

There is really no doubt that litecoin will go past $100. Litecoin is better den bcash in most areas. It got a good brand, none known scammers supporting it, better security and better developers. In the end bcash will fade away and Litecoin coexist with bitcoin.

Volume in Cryptopia getting highests amount (5~6BTC last 24h). Yeah it is still small in comparison with developed coins but for DeepOnion I never saw so much which is great.
The pleasant thing is following the increasing volume, the price is also going up slowly. Good to see the increased volume. But it is not much onions in the order book. Only 16335 coins up to 20k satoshi. We need more dumpers so new solid investors can get in on these prices. Although, i suspect that someone would dump if there were a huge buy wall at the current price. So it is proably still possible to get in cheap and participate in the airdrop. |
