For 2 days straight with the latest iguana wallet, I am not able to send KMD to Bittrex using basilisk mode. I even confirmed and still no go. Can't get it to fully sync in Full Mode even after leaving it for 8 hours on a 50mb connection.
I have not had a problem since version 0.1.1. If there is no network problem, it may be a problem in your installation. Well I can see everything working fine is basilisk mode, but the balance of KMD is the same. So sending KDM to exchange for some reason doesn't work for me. I will wait for a working wallet. Have you tried leaving 10 kmd in your wallet? I have way more than that on the wallet from day one the wallet was released, I was trying to send like 15 kmd to the exchange to see what happenes, and nothing after a while, funny thing is I noticed I have 1 extra KMD over the original amount I had. The reason things work better when you dont totally empty a wallet is that the total amount the wallet will spend is the total of utxo, without the interest. So when you see a wallet total of X and spend all of it, then it will likely not work. We probably need to display the two amounts clearly separately. Even though you cant spend more than the total of utxo, after you spend most of it, you will get change for the accrued interest that wasnt spendable and for an hour there wont be any accrued interest. so making two payments will let you empty the account (minus txfee)

When you spend utxo you collect interest, that is where the new kmd came from to clarify, the interest is accruing all the time. iguana GUI shows interests accrued. if you look at the total before and after a transaction, you will see the amount of interest change, but the combined total of balance + interest will be the same (minus the tx amount) Using a bank account analogy, you have a balance (sum of utxo) and you get paid interest (in KMD case that is every block). So there is a balance and and interests. When you make a payment, some amount of the interest is usually used and assuming you are getting change, your balance would go up by the accrued interest that was spent. I guess it isnt so clear... The logic is that each utxo accrues interest at 5% per year. When you spend a specific utxo, its accrued interest is added to the inputs, thereby allowing you to cash in the interest for that utxo

On the 6th of February I had 31929,69 kmd in my wallet at the same time as today. Today (after 9 days) I have 31951,79 kmd. This amounts to 2.8% interest. Which doesn't seem close to the 5% we are suppose to get from holding the coins in our wallet. In between I sent about 1/3 of my coins to an address on Bittrex and sent back the same amount to my wallet the following day and lost 10 komodo by doing these transactions. Has anyone got some explanation about the discrepancies that I seem to find in my wallet? Have you found out that you're really getting 5% from holding the coins?
how much accrued interest do you have? at any given point in time you have the sum of utxo and sum of interests. unless you spend every last utxo, you will likely have some interest that is accrued but wont show in the explorers the iguana GUI does show interest. I dont understand how you lost 10 KMD by doing some transactions, would need the txid to analyze

A large number of payments will be received, will be dump.
about 1 million KMD paid out today, out of total of almost 80 million also we are doing a bit more than 1 million KMD of trading volume trading a percent or two of overall float is healthy and sustainable. It is when 30%+ (especially if it is over 100%!) of coins trade in a day that it is at near a peak as that is clearly not sustainable and/or is artificial

jl777, do you have the date for the next payout already?
no, but when there are 50+ I will do it currently only 4 are pending as I just did the 10th batch I guess it will be Friday at the latest as I want to have at least a weekly payout batch

Yes, "Kid"Crypto. I'll remind you of this on his next project Komodo is developed by Supernet team, don't forget of it.jl777 is a dev of this team I'll have this quote ready for his next project. In time you'll see. you dont seem to realize that all my projects are connected to each other, almost as if it was one giant project that has many different parts to it. There are many aspects of crypto that need improving and if it is a sin to create an overall architecture and platform that solves it and it ends up having more than one crypto to solve it, then I am guilty as charged. All of these projects fit into the SuperNET. Now if I make some project that has no relation to SuperNET, then please scream away. I have no intentions of doing so as I feel that there is plenty to do within the scope of SuperNET. It will take potentially multiple attempts to tap into the mass market with crypto. And there could be a specific project for each attempt. Pangea is one such project, but it already has a token. It was not an ICO. It was internally funded and a percentage sharedropped. Maybe there will be others, not sure yet. Komodo platform does make it easy to make a new chain. There are almost 50 of them. Will you complain about that? You start a project and hold a bunch of the coins, then it pumps and you sell them off. After that you have no desire to continue on the project and declare it "complete". I'm sure you hold a lot of KMD now but later when you don't hold a lot of KMD it will be different. You will be on a new project. I'll come remind you of this after you're done making BTC from this project. I am sure you cant prove that I sell off the coins in my projects as I havent. I am holding long term. crypto is still in early stages and I expect it will continue increasing against fiat for the long term. Rather than sell, I usually accumulate more on the open market. All this is visible in the blockchain as opposed to your false conclusions without any basis. Maybe you are confusing me with someone else? I do occasionally sell some small amounts for living expenses due to this I dont have to beg people for donations, nor do I have to take any salary from my projects. I have not sold any KMD yet and dont intend to until it reaches at least $1. At that point I will probably sell some to have living expenses covered for a while. One approach I am thinking about is just selling the interest gained. Over 14 years my percentage of KMD will get cut in half, but the total I have will stay the same.

We support you @jl777 ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) KMD is an interesting project and things looking good for future. Thanks. The dPoW allows otherwise weak chains to be secured. That is why komodo was prioritized in the roadmap, in spite of the delays it gave to the older projects. Now that the basics are pretty much working, I am soon back to the originally scheduled programming, ie. DEX completion. Soon the GUI guys will be all caught up, so I need to make sure the DEX core is rock solid

When will the transfers take place. It's been 24 hours. You have not given approval yet .
my ancient macbook air locked up with full battery. If only it was near empty battery... The hard restart key sequence didnt restart it, so I need to wait for the battery to drain. It has 10+ hr battery life. I have a backup node, but it isnt quite setup right. I am configuring a new laptop, but it does take time to bootstrap a new dev machine. So, depending on when the battery dies and whether it starts up fine (it has everytime in the past it did this), then I can do it later today. If not, I will do it when I am setup to do so efficiently again.

Do not work. I'm worried about the exchange rate.
restart iguana after server restarts you need to restart iguana i was working on a parallel seed node method so this wont happen in the future, but first try was having some issues.

In general if you see a zero balance or problems in basilisk mode, first thing to do:
DONT PANIC!
Just use the kpx.io explorer and you can see your coins on the blockchain. Just because the basilisk is sleeping, doesnt mean anything happened to your coins.
The advantage of using basilisk is that it is setup instantly. However, it does rely on servers, which go through maintenance (scheduled and unscheduled) so you can expect downtime every once in a while.
DONT PANIC!
If you coins are in the blockchain, they are fine. just wait for the basilisk to wake up and you will be able to access your coins.
It is a bit like a website that you cant access, you dont assume all your documents on that website are deleted? Just wait till you can login and there is all your email. Kind of like that, but a lot more secure as only you have the passphrase to access the funds.
DONT PANIC Just try again when it is announced to be working again

I was debugging the basilisk seed node in order to parallelize it of course that made the seed node not work
I have restarted it and will resume testing when it is not so much in use

For people that have any questions or issues with the ICO payout, please do not PM me about it. I only do the batch payments, the ICO site that I dont manage deals with getting the batch created.
contact KomodoPlatform for any such questions
thanks
There is finally enough payout requests to make a batch. Will process it within 12 hours, not sure exactly when yet

How to transfer KMD to Bittrex from Ico.komodo website?
I also want to know same.Do we need to send first to wallet and then transfer it to exchange or can it be send directly? request payout from the Payout page specify an external address (not based on passphrase) that is your deposit exchange address please follow the directions on the Payout page

It is ridiculous to be on high expectation to pick up KMD from the stock market.
BTCD price : 0.0061 Swap Rate : 50.18
0.0061/50.18=0.000121
there is only 1 BTC worth of BTCD below .0072 which means the BTCD "barrier" on polo is 1 BTC to a KMD equiv of 14400 sats Somehow I dont think this tail will be wagging the dog

There are not so many requests for payout.
Please make the request in the next hour or please dont complain that you missed the 10th payout. The next one will be the tenth batch and after that it might be a week before the next one

Hi,
I have some questions before I'll do my withdraw of the ICO Page:
1) What happens with my REVS if I withdraw my KMD to an exchange (i.e.: Bittrex).
2) Where can I trade REVS? Is there an overview?
3) What do you think its better: Transfer directly to an exchange or first in the wallet.
Thanks for your help!
It is good you asked! 1) DONT payout to exchange if you have REVS! The REVS will go to the same address and unless the exchange both supports REVS and has the identical address assigned to you, the REVS will be lost 2) Only manually for now, or using command line DEX API, so not very convenient. We are waiting for GUI support of REVS before we can suggest exchanges support it. 3) if you have REVS, then to wallet first!
