Good luck buddy, I worked in website development for a long while and you can never get everything sorted for the launch date.

There will always be something which pops up which you did not think about.

My Order will be in by Sunday Afternoon (Hopefully if nothing goes wrong)

Cheers

more hashing power, is what I need.

Noticed on ebay that they have cleared out a lot of the pre-order stuff and some of the scam's have gone as well.
183  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: MiningHardware.co.uk - WORLD WIDE SHIPPING on: December 19, 2013, 02:36:39 PM
Thanks for ringing me buddy to put my mind at rest, as mentioned I will be placing an order shortly.

Thanks Again

Just sent you guys and email and got bounce back.

You have these in stock now and ready to deliver, if so (as I am new to the forum) would you be willing to use escrow.

PM.d you the email

Thanks

185  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Upgrading from 2 x 60gh on: December 19, 2013, 01:16:22 PM
Just need some basic advice, I have 2 x 60Gh Avalons and thinking of upgrading.

I have looked on ebay to see what there is and there is a lot of pre-order stuff, have read some things about butterfly kit so a bit confused.

What are recommendations for up-grading please?

Thanks

186  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: December 14, 2013, 03:54:20 PM
Got it sorted but the unit starts at approx 8Gh (instead of 60) then it drops to 0 and restarts

API Log

[Firmware Version] => 20130821
cgminer-70bc62c
luci-d854edc+
cgminer-openwrt-packages-800cc58
Socket connect failed: Connection refused

Anyone know where I can get the latest firmware update please, been told I am running on wrong one 20130821.

Thanks

Here http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/avalon/ but I don't think that is your problem.

   [fan1] => 4200
   [temp2] => 85

  Shocked

Looks like it's shutting down on high temp, is the fan actually running and is the air flow path through the unit clear?

Changed Fan temp to 70 & cut off 90 and it is now working like a dream.

Thanks everyone who helped.

Anyone know how to reset Avalon Mini 60Gh when there is no access to the web interface.

I have set it up with a ethernet cross over but still nothing on 192.168.0.100 or 192.168.0.101

Already Done this

Quote
You need to set your computer IP address to 192.168.0.1, subnet 255.255.255.0 and leave everything else blank. Then apply the settings, and make sure your computer and the Avalon are plugged into the same network and then open up IE or Chrome and go to 192.168.0.100 or http://192.168.0.100/ and you should be able to log into your Avalon.

And no joy.

There may be a pin hole near the LAN socket.  When you are powering up the device, you can depress the switch inside this pin hole.  For more instructions about timing and the resulting IP address, Google for OpenWRT fail safe.

Many thanks, is there any info on how to set a static ip as the ip on our router is 192.168.1.1 so need to set static so I can connect it to that network

193  Bitcoin / Mining support / Avalon Mini 60Gh Problems on: December 12, 2013, 02:06:15 PM
I just got a 60Gh Avalon Mini Miner.

I was having problems with it mining so the guy told me to update the firmware which I did fine.

But now I am unable to get to the control panel to set it up.

I get the black screen with - LuCI - Lua Configuration Interface (This could be in cache memory)

but nothing else, not picked up on network, or in router

Any ideas

I disagree, the drug trade is not running the bitcoin market, it is the black market and underground trades which brought it the peoples attention which has seen a boom in the price of hardware to mine.

I have a main wallet on one computer which is backed up to Dropbox (Get some free space)

I then make sure Dropbox is up to date on my other computer by sync it every 2-3 days

Both computers are never on at the same time.

I have been through some video's about this and got it setup how it is shown step by step.

Does anyone know if there is any other guides to setting this up.

I have setup the Wifi and cable, I have put the Pool Workers in but the machine keeps restarting and the green light is on but the orange light flashes and the MHS5s keeps dropping from 6000 to 0.41

Also the web interface keeps crashing is there another way to set this up and run it or even to reboot it without the web interface ?

Any help would be grateful.

Thanks
