In my opinion, crypto doesn't look like traditional currency. It looks more like an asset. I mostly compare it to shares. When a company first time releases its coins and distributes them to investors, it endows the holders of this currency not only with the pure amount of these coins but also with some rights behind it (rights to dividends, discounts on transactions within their system etc.). These are the features related to assets, securities.

I don't know if it's the reason, but I saw crypto channels were blocked. a twitter page of my bounty campaign was blocked.

I also participated in it. Even thought to write some articles, 'cause it looked like a nice project very convincing. But then I fund your warning at the their thread and checked it out. Everything and everybody disappeared. Very sad story. Guys, beware the scammers!

I've always wondered how people make big money without effort. I've heard that airdrops can help me with this, so found several channels with lists of airdrops. How do you think it is worth starting? Are there any pitfalls in this matter? Any advises? Most of the airdrops nowadays worth nothing. If they distribute something, these coins are mostly worthless and have minor chances to reach really serious price. I'd advice you to consider joining some promising and interesting bounty campaigns instead.

I've got an instant headache while reading your entry. Forst of all bitcoin can scam you if you invest in some ponzi schemes circulating all over the internet. Bitcoin pioneered all other coin but it doesnt mean that it is the only coin good for investment. There are alot more available out there. Bitcoin has a very transparent protocol, I don't think someone who knows what they are talking about would call bitcoin a scam. It is possible to see it falling, but still, it can't be a scam. You should simply have patience and wait to prove them wrong
Indeed bitcoin is not a scam if you know how to do it right and not just believing in what most people say. Completely agree with your answer. Bitcoin is not the only answer. I think it has already reached quite a lot, and there remains the question, whether it is going to grow further or not. But on the market there plenty of other good coins, which haven't discovered their whole potential yet. Bitcoin is good of course as the father of all coins, but because of its high influence in the crypto-world, it is very easy to cause fall of its price by some fake news or statements of influential people or some countries' authorities. It's a pity though, that most of the coins are so dependable on Bitcoin, that all the speculation about Bitcoin affects them as well, and they obediently follow the course of bitcoin. There will be more prospects for other serious coins if they become more independent when people will stop associate bitcoin with all the cryptocurrencies, and will finally understand that Ethereum, EOS, Monero, and Litecoin (for example) is not the same thing as bitcoin. Then all the predictions and opinions about the fate of Bitcoin won't affect that much other coins.

It is as old as the world itself. Ain't nobody believes in something new and undiscovered until it inevitably becomes a part of everybody's life. In 90's nobody believed in the internet and it's spread all over the world. Twenty years ago nobody believed that we will be able to pay off without cash money or even pay with our smartphones. Humanity is always skeptical about the things they consider to be some fantastic. Take a look at Elon Musk. Ten years ago he told European companies that it is really possible to create an electric car, but nobody believed him and called him a "crazy man", even a "psycho" when he told the European Space Agency that it is possible to create self-landing rockets of multiple use. And what happened, when he created first Tesla and started to "conquer" the market? Everybody shut their mouses and started making electric cars themselves. Nothing to say about his achievements in the space industry. Nobody can achieve him even closely. So, stay calm, man. Everything is going to be alright with Bitcoin and other good cryptocurrencies. The world has already understood that it is the unavoidable future: all the banks are making all the efforts to introduce into their systems possibility to exchange money for Bitcoin, all the "Whales" of this world already slightly joining crypto-world, every company switches to blockchain and smart-contracts.

In my opinion, if you want to invest or trade not only BTC and ETH, but also other promising altcoins, then the best choice today is Bittrex, Binance, and Poloniex. I wouldn't have said Poloniex earlier because it had some problems before. But it was the best, the oldest and the most popular cryptocurrency exchange not long ago before it faced problems. Recently Poloniex was bought by Circle and it promised that all the troubles with support and customer service will be operatively solved. I think they will keep their word, it is in their interests. I guess, soon we will see the revival of the good, old and beloved Poloniex. Hopefully, all the old clients of this exchange will come back there soon. As a matter of fact, this exchange platform is very easy to understand and navigate. So, don't be afraid to use these three exchanges. I understand, how important is this issue, especially for a beginner. When I started to invest in crypto, I couldn't decide which exchange to choose myself, 'cause every exchange had bad reviews and feedback on various websites. But when you start dealing it yourself, you can understand most of the people, who say bad things about exchange services, simply make mistakes themselves, being inattentive, not reading all the terms and rules. Wish you good luck with your choice.

I think today there a lot of perspective coins and even more coins that have no future. So it is really hard to decide which of them are going to grow. At the same time, there are some coins that are very promising, and they are awaiting a great success, such as Zcash, Stratis, GAS, DigixDao, Bitcoin Gold and others. But I think the best strategy is to diversify your crypto-portfolio and invest in TOP-10 cryptocurrencies ranked at Coinmarketcap. It has already been proved that investing in top-10 always gives you profit. But this must be a mid-term or long-term investment. Success in your investments!

Man, I suggest you be patient and adhere to your initial trading strategy. I prefer to play it long term, it's anyway profitable in the distance, but playing it the short term, you just make too many efforts and moves, mostly hasty decisions, which lead you to the same results in the distance or even to worse results, if you are not a patient person. Anyway, any strategy can be profitable and productive. It's up to you.

Yeah, I agree with previous comments. I think if you don't have money to invest (as the majority of people on this forum, especially beginners), then participation in bounty campaigns is the best option to raise initial capital. But if you already have money, then, I think, it is wise to do both. You can invest in projects that you think are going to be successful and profitable, and at the same time, while you are waiting for the income from your investments, you can take part in some promising ICO projects. Especially if you are a Member or a Full Member on Bitcointalk with solid accounts on main social networks, it won't be hard for you to participate in them at all, but your earnings will be significant.

I don't think that airdrop is really profitable. Of course, there are some exceptional occasions, when the coin they distribute raise at price. But most of these airdrops are desperate attempts to attract people's attention to their product. Really successful projects don't need any airdrops, moreover, sometimes they don't even to launch their bounty campaigns. Personally, when I began doing bounties I tried airdrops, but most of them either didn't send the promised tokens or sent a small amount of them, and their price is approximately 0,01 - 0,10$. Even participation in referral programs of these airdrops wasn't helpful. That is why I decided to end up with drops and concentrate my whole attention and time to bounties.
