Also can't forget about the 2 stage authentication.. but I'm going to guess care wasn't taken on establishing the account. I'm not going to read that complete wall of text.

Techincally, though we consider BTC to have value, technically it isn't real. Just as real as that +1 uber sword of doom in warcraft.

My apologies..i read your post wrong when you were talking about bonuses and antminers... maybe i started alittle early tonight! Smiley

It's ok, I ain't straight without coffee.. although it didn't help your thread was sort of ninja'd and we went in an odd direction.

185  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Bit Of Glory on: January 21, 2014, 12:44:37 AM
I Just wondered if anyone out there has signed up with bitofglory .com yet??
They offer 100 GH for 500.00.
I am a newbi and was wondering if that's good. Or is there something better to get into??

Thanks! Cool

Seems overpriced, when you can purchase a few block erupter cubes @ 30gh/s with just power costs after initial investment.

I like cex.io's concept better, no RTU, that's if your into cloud mining.

If you want and don't have an account yet.. if you use my referral link I'll give you .1 GH/s to get started

https://cex.io/r/0/dmpotter1361/0/

I'm just looking for referrals, you don't lose anything, I just get a bonus.

I suck at math... but this should work fine with antminers?

AnkerŪ USB 3.0 7-Port Hub with 1 BC 1.2 Charging Port up to 5V 1.5A, 12V 3A Power Adapter

My plan is to run 6 antminers and artic breeze fan in the charging port #7

Antminer = "1.2 Watt power from the USB port and .5 Amp" - I'm going to assume not overclocked

In reality this will probably only be stable with 4 ants + the fan. ..........If it runs 5 its a bonus.

Damn.. Well least I'll have lower expectations Smiley

If you have access to a killawatt device you will be able to check the power draw and post back here.

I don't have a measuring device like that. Maybe I should get one though.

I will report back, in reality if it does a better job than my current configuration I'll be happy. Just wish I would of saw this thread before I ordered the hub I did.

As you can see the average is much lower than it should be, should be all 2's in the highlighted red box.

Yeah, all my payouts to cryptsy are working great except DOGE. Two withdrawals from yesterday, still no where to be seen.

This is me too Smiley

193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MTC Marinecoin hash rate just doubled what's going on on: January 20, 2014, 10:14:53 PM
Sounds all nice, and understandable to an extent.. but in reality the amount allocated is excessive.

So based on that, is the expected amount of allocation annually truly worth 9 million dollars? That's a lot interest and development.
194  Economy / Service Discussion / cex.io purchase bot on: January 20, 2014, 10:01:37 PM
Anyone know of a safe bot to just autobuy gh/s every hour or so with the mined amount of btc and nmc? I've seen several bots, but either the focus only on the btc amount or attempt some form of trading.
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MTC Marinecoin hash rate just doubled what's going on on: January 20, 2014, 09:58:19 PM
ya I was looking at that coin, but it was premined a lot..

197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transferring BitCoin on Local Area Network on: January 20, 2014, 08:51:52 PM
yes you can move the wallet, but will need the internet to sync. Otherwise people would be able to copy wallets and fabricate bitcoins.
198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining hardware - free electricity on: January 20, 2014, 08:13:18 PM

That's a pre-order, don't fall for it. Otherwise, I don't how that equipment works.
199  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the R9 270 the best Kh/s for the money right now? on: January 20, 2014, 10:10:29 AM
Litecoin mining will still require a decent GPU.

There is another option too, I'm willing to give you .1 GH/s (100Mh/s) if you would just use this link to make an account at cex.io

https://cex.io/r/0/dmpotter1361/0/

You don't lose anything, I just get a bonus.

But, if you do do the referral thing, I'll send you a voucher which you use on the site.

Least that way, as you make btc, you can buy more gh/s.

Just an option for you to consider.

You can also do like I do, and use local equipment and mine against cex.io
so you have both the cloud mining and local mining all working the same pool.

I also sell litecoin and other scrypt coins on cryptsy, then I'll send some of that to cex.io and buy more gh/s.

Yes, the Price of GH/s is always going down anyhow, but it is tradeable there.

This is an example of the command I'm using locally to mine cex.io' pool

bfgminer -o stratum+tcp://us1.ghash.io:3333 -u dmpotter1361.ant -p x -S antminer:all --set-device antiminer:clock=x0981

I'm using my antminers... thus why I called my worker .ant Smiley
