Block reward reduction is at block 37000. Actual halving will continue on schedule.
I still don't understand why some are worried about the price "right now". Isn't it better to worry about the price "later"? Honest question; as I've said, I don't market.

Sooooooo......we are ALL held hostage by Bittrex?
There SHOULD HAVE been an agreement made ahead of time for a firm commitment from them to list the coin on September 15th. So, the DEV just messed up here on this issue. Plain & simple. You CANNOT place the blame upon Bittrex. YOU did not secure a binding agreement AHEAD OF TIME. Take responsibility, and stop blaming them.
THIS SHOULD BE A NUMBER ONE PRIORITY RIGHT NOW.

Until the site is live, you can download the latest wallet at https://github.com/TrollByFire/litecoindark-staging/releases. I know this last update has been delayed a bit, but I've been fighting some dependency issues and slight regressions and am having to be a bit more conservative with this coming release. Changelog will be released along with the update, as soon as it's ready. Well, this is very understandable as you have had the Ddos attack, and having to decide and how to implement the new rewards structure for mining. This last is widely anticipated now by the investors. On TOP of this we get a new wallet release coming!! You guys are really among the BEST in this industry. (Now, if only you can get a Metcalf positive review to announce....) Future looks bright, indeed. 6 months from now, $1.00/coin will seem CHEAP!! ~darylluke. |

I buy at Virwox. After registration it will take up to 48 h for transaction, after the first one, all the others are in a few min. They have a little high fee but i am satisfied, so many times i bought already. I can vouch for Virwox. It's actually a pretty good place to start if you're new to Bitcoin. I got my first bitcoins from there without any trouble. It's rather quick too. Only negative is the high fees. I have used them for 7 months and am very happy. The only negative I have noticed is that on Saturday & Sunday nights the confirmations have taken 15-45 minutes. Yet, it does not seem to be them being slow, but the blockchain traffic making it slow.Their fees are very reasonable. But, after 90 days customers can only buy maximum of $3500 per 30 days, and $390 max daily purchase of BTC. |

Are people still NOT receiving their coins in home wallet sending them from the exchanges to home wallet?
Has this been resolved? Makes me nervous to think the sending of coins has problems at this point. Why does that happen?
~darylluke. I moved some from Bittrex to my wallet on the 25th. IF there ever was a problem (maybe during the fork issue), it's been resolved for awhile now. Two people mentioned here in last 24hrs that they sent from xchange, but not arrived at home wallet. The two have NOT replied if it is resolved, and DEV did not reply to complaint here.So, it is UNCLEAR if it is an ongoing issue, or what is going on. ~darylluke. Where are you seeing this? I see one guy who posted saying he hadn't received anything and then roughly 15 minutes later posted that he got them. And another person talking about a completely different coin. Okay. Yes indeed!! Under steady, strong and long accumulation.Those sell-bots will soon get blown out of the water, then we leave them assholes in the dust.This coin should be at LEAST 5,000 right now! Look at the rich-list!! Some very BIG bag-holders right now. Most likely, NO. If it gets mined out in the near future, miners will likely lose interest and many will point their rigs elsewhere which would slow transactions down noticably. If a time comes when LTCD transfers begin to take as long as BTC (10 minutes to many hours), less trading will probably take place influencing less people to be interested in the coin. The value/price of a coin is based more on how interested people are than any other single factor. Also, if transaction speed drops and people wander off elsewhere, the potential for attracting businesses to use the coin for accepting payments will be greatly reduced. It is important to attract business. A coin that can only be traded back and forth or used for web-tipping will eventually stagnate. A coin that can be spent to buy electronic gadgets, coffee, crafting supplies, gasoline, groceries, etc ... becomes a negotiable instrument with real-world use for bartering into and out of tangible goods. If we keep mining the way it is and it finishes quickly to 82million, from there, wont the price go up pretty fast?

hi dev, i still hold some goal coin in bittrex and i they announcements this : This market is in danger of de-listing due to low trade volume and lack of user interest. It may be removed on Sept 26th unless the average daily trade volume for the last 7 days exceeds 0.1 BTC what should i do if they delist goal?can it just rename from goalcoin to xg? any update dev? I do believe DEVs are on SIESTA as this coin dies.....This shyte is unbelievable, these guys just like timely updates do not matter to them, for instance...Bittrex listing now how LATE??? WTF???
