Sure, but we need the block explorer to be up, running and updated for that. We're working on it! Don't worry! A website is coming soon as well!

For potential helpers, you have to know that you can install both old and new wallets on your computer without conflict. Preferably we're searching for people familiar with ethereum family coins (no need to be expert at all).
That means, being able to run command prompt commands, launch cli wallet, do some basic operations in the console, etc.

LOL, next time I lose money in trading, I call Interpol!

I would add that we're going to organize a conversion process with the exchanges, so that those with coins there don't have to do anything.

As for the block explorer, it's just a question of having a server. If someone can provide a server for it, I can set it up pretty quickly.
Can you tell me what server specs you need for it? Maybe I can give you access for one of my servers. It needs to have the node running (which is what will consume the most resources), a few GB of storage, and node.js installed (or not, but I need to be able to install it).

There will be a posted update soon.
The meeting went great.
Awesome, I don't know why, but I am simply feeling excited about this Because Shift won't simply follow Ethereum development, we're planning things ahead of it. Anything you can share with the community buddy. For the people who couldn't be part of the meeting but are waiting for the updates It's too soon to make any announcements, though we can tell that we have moved forward and found compromises between what community and dev want. The people behind the takeover (at least most of them) and the dev will unite their forces. Best of both scenarios.

I think we can lock this thread. Basically, we would have gone nowhere without a competent dev, and the dev nowhere without the community. We decided to unite our forces for the best of this coin. Stay tuned.

How much server STORAGE and BANDWIDTH would be needed do you think. As for the bandwith, I don't know. For storage, current blockchain is at 1.5GB, so let's count about 1.5GB more every 6 months. As for the resources, it needs to run the Geth wallet equivalent, and node.js for the explorer itself.

The premine will be around 5 million SHF. I will also create a DAO (which expanse have said from the beginning, but have not accomplished).
Seriously? 5 fucking million! Current number is 2.7M! Shameless! (let's recall you've had 250k already)

yes it should be copy pasted as it is. If you want more help, give more details!

At some time, they were contemplating closing their Shift pool. I don't know if they did though.

There's still work remaining, but here it is!

can someone help me solve the error I am getting.
Give more info please. Which wallet are you using? The GUI wallet, or the Geth equivalent?

Block explorer is coming. I got it working in local. AltcoinSteps already has the server. So... Now I can focus on the website.
