And there are many coins without any real advantages, valued way higher than NODE. Lets wait couple of weeks and check if devs will succeed to launch EXO. The account holder seems an interesting player. He can plays with the price, if he will sell everything, the price will fall down. Well the real question is does he really want them or he is just a speculator? If he really wants them then he will redeem them. But it seems to me that he doesn't want them all since he is just lowering his price and hasn't redeemed them yet. He was at 100k, then at 50k, now at 40k. If he is just a speculator, he will cash them out before 22nd and then some people will get very cheap NEMStakes.  he's probably buying a lot of cheap stakes while keeping the price low with his sell wall.... obviously after years of fake sell walls people it's still retard and sell . I am not so sure. He is just a trader. Look at his trade history, he's been buying them since June. Many of them he bought under 20,000 NXT. He was just looking for a crazy price spike to profit. As for the wall, is it fake or not, well it is not fake. You take 1,2 million NXT now and you go and buy his sell wall. He is just trading, anyone doesnt seems to be buyin at the moment, which is quite strange. I'm seriously thinking to buy little more like 0.1 stake or 0.2, Am I the only with this kind of thoughts ? |

Guys at the moment, looking at the AE, price of one NEM is 150 satoshis. When we start trading on exchanges, upon the launch, will we beat this price or the price will be lower?
I would like to hear opinions since I am thinking should I buy a NEMStake now, or wait the launch. Please keep in mind that there will be a lot of people who will dump their stakes upon the launch. If the price will be 150 satoshis, this will be an easy 1,5 BTC for them. This will surely drive the price down and let's face it, there are people like that, who are just looking for the easy money, moreover since they invested hardly nothing. There are many coins that were more expensive on IPO than after launch. Also I think that price drop is inevitable, BTSX dropped over 50% from the launch price before it started going up.
Another thing in mind is that there are 4B NEMs to 1B NXT. This would put a price of 1 NEM to the 600 satoshis launch price comparing to NXT, since there are 4 times more coins. Anybody remembers the price of 1 NXT when it hit the exchenges upon the launch? Is this 600 satoshis to much for NEM to beat?
Feature wise, looking at NXT at the moment there is just coin sending, better distribution and POA algorithm that is making forging fairer. All other feats are just promises.
I am not trying to spread FUD, just trying to think in advance, invest, and hear other peoples' opinions.

Would be interesting to hear an input of the others about this as well. IMO dumpers had already over 4 months to dump their stakes and as far as i know, there will be more features at the launch. (Correct me if im wrong) Yes, this is a partially valid point. I came to think about this as well. On the other side, it came to my mind that not everybody wanted to mess with the NemStakes and the AE asset exchange, so to tell with NXT. It is much easier just to take coins and send them to the exchange for BTC. With NemStakes, people had to learn completely new system. Then again, I might be wrong. That could be right, but it is kind of hard to believe that there be huge amount of dumpers after launch. I mean NXT AE was pretty easy to use if your motivation would be just quick profit. Otherwise i tend to share little concern about the demand. Merely week to go before 22.11 and daily volume and price has been in decline and no buyin pressure at all. If this is this should be the next big thing, why members arent buying like crazy ? Dollar Price is almost for time cheaper than in june and even the NXT/NEM ratio is lower than in last weeks. |

Technical movements maybe. Or sell-outs by people who dont know how to redeem it or have no access to BTT or just selling to each other.
There are only few assets left, its not a representative market. I think there will be a try to get the last stakes for cheapest price until they get invalid.
Who really wanted an asset he already has obtained it. Now its unpredictable speculation with 10 percent of total stakes. 90 percent of holders are already waiting for 1.0 release having NEM stake locked up (redeemed already not allowing to transfer it back to AE anyways).
But it is still little odd that demand is so low. |

I think switching to 8 billion is a good idea. It might confuse some people with the amount change and yes some people will be upset, but oh well. I think its going to boost the market cap by a lot. Its all about the numbers. Its about what price people see on the exchange sites. With the illusion that its cheap it should bring in more buy support. 100 satoshis a coin looks twice as good as 200 sats. Attention is usually focused more on price than total supply anyway. Also it should help with hoarding coins by making it psychologically easier for holders to part from them. Someone is more likely to give up 100k nem of 2 million coins vs 50k nem of the amount of 1 million. "That shiny pretty 1M coin stash isn't complete anymore  " VS "I'm still holding 900k along with a whole 1 million, whoo!" Just check the amount of the coins in top 10 in CMC....... |

this is make more community active. and attract new people come to node.
or contact poloniex to add node in giveaway tab
just give small amount like 1000 node or less per people

Poloniex adds a coin if you give them millions for a giveaway  they added NAS but couldn't add NODE  . Start a Facebook campaign and give small amount of NODE so people can get involved in it. Giveaways are a good way to increase community. ok, but trollbox poloniex great way too to run giveaway, or forget about poloniex. let them regret later because they not add node . lol  Why would they add a coin with a volume of ~ 2 BTC per day? |

We should actively voted to make better development for NodeCoin , Everyone should join us , Most people are not positive, I am very sad The devs said already like a month go, that BTC38 and some other exchange will add NODE, so far nothing has done for that problem. NODE doesnt have a working client nor any relevant usage. This is a prime example of aborted launch and I seriously would be surprised if NODE marketcap ever will achieve even 1 million dollar limit. Dev Team is holding huge part of the supply, and those sneaky little slavs will dump it for even little profit. Someone mentioned that WSJ will puplish some news about NODE, but hard to believe so... |

The issue as I have now come to understand it is simply a doubling of the total amount. The percentage of each stake remains unchanged (I.e. 1MM NEM is now 2MM NEM).

Hence the figure of 8 Billion came about although a larger number is still something that can be pondered and weighed upon. It was 4 billion that was picked out the air. After discussion by Nemsters on the Forum the number 8 billion came up for a variety of reasons and was decidedly liked by most over the original 4 B. Do we want to cater for the Asians? Any Asian new to the movement would probably pick 8 billion rather than 4 Also I agree that when NEM becomes popular, do we want to talk about decimal points like BtC....I find it confusing when something is worth 0.00065 of a btc for example. Perhaps 80 billion would bring pricing amounts up to closer to what we are all familiar with. What is the point for such a big change at this point? People who have bought their stakes in AE will get confused and the same effect go along with those who does not visit this topic regulary. Given the point that devaluation of NEM could seriously harm the price, IMO Just burn one NEM. That is just a terrible choice from marketing- and economics perspective. |

What has done with marketing, community or exchange after the launch? And callin NODE a currency at this point is total delusion, right now only thing that you can buy is BTC and volume is so low that any business in world touch that kind of platform. |

I still think that there is a marginal changes that in next month NODE could surge and i have invested zero SIM for this, so im not gonna lose anything anyway. But after following devs and community i dont see that we never gonna be like NXT or NEM. |
