Do you hold your coins on exchanges?
Or manage 10 different wallets / private keys / backups?
I've heard a phrase - if you keep coins on exchanges you don't really own it...
So I would like to know - also as a newbie creating portfolio - how to securely hold multiple coins?
Ideally one seed phrase used to generate all the private keys to various wallets - possible?
Genuinely curious how to securely store them. So many passwords, backups, recovery phrases - very easy to get lost. My questions is in the "newbie" territory that's why asking here. |

The best way is to inform them that these cryptos also have problems, much bigger problems than what Bitcoin is currently facing. But you will realize that most "investors" are already aware of this, they know it's just hype, but greed will make them keep putting money into it.

How are you going to know how to read something like that? Best thing is to know when to sell or hold, or you'll come right down with the coin. Find the ones that are quality, and try to hold some of those. Diversifying is the way to safety.
How do I know which are quality? There is always someone better equipped with knowledge, and by the time a coin gravitates to me it's already +500%... I would like to learn, do you have any good resources that are not scammy and not pumping their own agenda? |

The BANCOR ICO will be uncapped for 1 hour. I don't see how anyone can expect massive gains if the ICO raises a shitton of money. The key to get rich from an ICO is to buy an ICO that is undervalued (like STRAT). But with Bancor, im not sure if we can expect big gains. The BAT ICO made 37 million dollars in like 30 seconds.. so if the Bancor ICO goes on for an hour and at uncapped rate, it could reach like 1 billion dollar... what margin of growth you have then?
Any new ICO with token value greater than 1$ is not worth investing. Simply it will take too much time to reach 10x. IMHO holding your ethers can give better ROI in future. This could be by far the largest fundraising ICO in the history... How to prepare? What to expect? How market will react? It's scary... I'm learning and I have no idea what to expect here. Can you please elaborate on why US citizens cant participate in the ICO?
The first thing that I think of is there is a hidden clause that will protect you if/when you run with all of the funds and only people in US would be able to come after you legally.
Of course, that may not be the truth but that is the first thing I think about.
