There are 54 Ghs on the network. Hashing power being wasted because the chain isnt moving. This is hashpower before finding the previous block, not the current one Minepools (zpool, hash-to-coins) increase hashpower, and then they leave when the diff will rise too much, because mining is unprofitable with this diff... In short: the chain works and moves when the hashpower is increased or a block is found at current hashpower. Alternatively, when the UNIFY price increases, profitability will go up, multipool will again join and find the next blocks

5-10k for node? 1% of all coins it's a good option, about 150-200k. I appreciate the quick responses. If the price gets high enough, like $50, it shouldn't matter anyways. Especially if you invested early when the coin is cheap.
Just a question, if some top wallets were to sell a certain percentage of their coins in the exchanges, say 10%, that would lower the price of the coin because of the increase of supply right? Strategically selling a certain amount to lower the price may move more investers to buy and encourage growth in the long term. Kind of like pruning bushes.

I hear you. I do like this coin. Just one little thing bothers me at the moment. If you look at the block explorer, you will notice that the top 25 wallets have almost 70% of the market share of the coin. They've been mining them since the beginning. The #1 wallet has about 10% of all coins, over a million of them. The price of the coin doesn't need to rise much for them to make a lot of money. How would I know that when the coin reaches $1 they would not dump all their coins in the market and send the price crashing down? And who are those people that have all those coins? Are they people like us or is something up? I really hope that whoever owns those wallets wait until the price goes way way up before selling. Not trying to spread any bad stuff around. But it is always good to be cautious. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid....Just wait and see I guess. What you write affects most cryptocurrencies, in some, one person having more than half of all coins...With the price increase, more people will be holding the coins and the difference in the top wallets will be less significant |

Hi, My first post on here. Been following cryptos since 2012, but not a forums guy. Posting in this thread to confirm my support for Unify, and that I will continue to invest in it. I like the dev team's plan for this project. Hope, they have planned a reward for devs so that the project just doesn't die in time like so many others, because maintaining a crypto is harder than creating one.. One more thing, the awful "U" logo has been bothering me very much.  The Unify logo needs a serious face lift. After all, brand identity helps shape how the masses feel about something, so the dev tem should look into creating a better logo than that generic "U" with a blue back ground. I went to a web editor and created the following.
