If this occurs, we are guided by the principle that ‘the law has no retroactive effect.’ In other words, karma won’t be recounted and tokens won’t be accrued. The rarity of achievement depends on the gamers’ activity, so RAWG does not take a risk by re-calculating karma, as it can make the system vulnerable to exploits.

Steam (as well as PlayStation Store, Nintendo Store, Xbox Store, and Whatever Store) has games only for one device. We, on the contrary, have info about all games from major platforms with a plan to extend our database over 100,000 this year, which will make us the largest cross-platform game database in the world. Sure, we are not planning to sell games but this is not something that we pursue.
