181  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest now? or wait for down turn? on: April 24, 2019, 01:55:44 PM
I have bought few cents of bitcoin last year thinking that there will be bull run as it was being speculated by many of thr users here. Yet, the speculated bull run was never happeb and instead it goes down to bearish market. I was just thinking that if I could only just anticipate the bull run or the pump that never happen.

Now, that bitcoin has slowly I have never invested in bitcoin. The moment that its market price was 3k usd was the best time to invest with but still I am afraid that it could go down. Seeing it slowly recovering to 3.6K-4K means nothing also to me. Now that it made a huge pump up from 5K i have regreted that I never invested in bitcoin. I have never been anticipated.in bitcoin pump.

I am Newbie in cryptocurrency and would like to start a small trading scheme that would try my skills in the market movement.

What should I do? Invest now? or wait for.another market down?
First of all you need to learn the basics of trade. All the tips that you get now (even if they are really useful) will not be worth anything if you don't possess the necessary knowledge.
What you need to know is that the market has phases. Depending on these phases, it is necessary to build your trading strategy.
The mistake most people make is not buying when the price of an asset is very low and not selling when the price gets high.
I want to advise you to make a plan for buying and selling. So it will be easier for you to calculate the entry and exit points impartially.
In general, it is a relatively good time to buy cryptocurrency, but also consider the purpose of this purchase.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: April 23, 2019, 09:20:50 PM
Newbies can easily be influenced from what they hear from speculations.. I've read several times people tend to advice to hold long term. because its easy for them to say JUST HOLD cause theyre not the one losing! For me its not all about holding, its being smart about your own invesment know when to stop and cut the losses.

What are your thoughts?
Of course you need to intelligently distribute yours investments. Of course, some promising coins need hold. You also need to constantly trade (if you want to constantly receive income from your investments). Only trading will give you the opportunity to make money in any market situation and at almost any time.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe the crypto market will never take off! on: April 23, 2019, 06:42:15 PM
There are many reasons why this market will never amount to anything: The list goes on and on!
Is it time to sell and get out of the market?
Just look at a graph of the Bitcoin since it started. It is not the graph of something that is successful! It is the graph of a failed project: Don’t look at price think about popularity!
Price: Tether manipulated price and the prices were not organic. Wake up bitches the market is trying to correct to its true value. That is why it keeps going DOWN!
Because of these posts, many people are afraid to start their way into the crypto world. Crypto currency is not bad, you just need to figure out how to become a successful trader.
You have not shared with us any list (but you write about it).
Your post only shows your fear and insecurity. You just need to understand that everything is in your hands. When you stop blaming the market, other people and circumstances, and you figure it out thoroughly, then you look at it from a completely different angle.
After 2-3 years, when the prices of crypto currency rise, you will regret not having tried, but simply succumbed to your fears.
184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to survive on: April 23, 2019, 06:28:55 PM
Hey guys!

Just interested if you still earn any money? The situation is so horrible that it's interesting to me if someone still feels good.
Maybe you mine or you continue to invest in something.

On the whole, how to survive now? Hold, trade, sell, invest, mine?
Yes, even now some traders continue to earn. If the trader understands that there are phases of the market and trades in accordance with them, then everything will be fine with his finances. So, for example, after the rapid growth, the price drops sharply down, I understand that after a while the accumulation phase will go. In this phase, usually no one wants to buy, the majority of traders are afraid. Since the price is very low, buyers are not interested. And this is one of the main mistakes.
Don't forget the basic rule: buy when the price is down, sell when the price is above. By following this rule you will always win.
185  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin? on: April 22, 2019, 10:02:58 PM
Bitcoin and the blockchain have been presented as the future for a decade now, and it turned many of those who found out about it early into millionaires.  Some rank these two as the greatest inventions of this century: cryptocurrencies, of which Bitcoin is only one, and blockchain, the record-keeping technology that underpins it. Is the prediction of bitcoin's strong future coming true within the next few years? Is it too late to have a chance in getting wealthy through Bitcoin?
Of course not, it's not too late. Yes, indeed, those who bought Bitcoin until 2017, if they seized the opportunity of the end of 2017, became millionaires. And I'm sure that if now, you don't buy Bitcoin, then after 1-2 years you will be very sorry about it. Bitcoin is an idea, an idea that has been liked by many, so for Bitcoin the all is just beginning!
186  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think this BEAR MARKET will LAST? on: April 22, 2019, 09:45:05 PM
While checking around, I came across some write-up of how long this bear market have been and we also get to know that this bear market is the longest.

I found out this: https://www.ccn.com/the-crypto-bear-market-wont-last/amp recently.

So what's your own opinion and say about how soon will the bear market be over?
I think that by the summer of 2019 the position of the bulls should be strengthened. So I’m expecting a steady growth of Bitcoin, like the rest of the altcoins, starting in the summer of 2019. I see no reason to assume that the price of Bitcoin will reach ATH (which we saw in 2017), but I count on the achievement of this price in 2020.
187  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: April 22, 2019, 09:05:53 PM
Hi,

What is your opinion about forex trading vs crypto currency trading?
Which one is better? More profitable ?

Also, there are some bots like GunBot or C.A.T which automate whole trading, but is there any bots for forex?
Is crypto currency and forex trading strategy and method the same?
Each trader should determine for himself where he will trade comfortably. It should be borne in mind that trading in the crypto market is much more dynamic than in the forex market. There is a lot of volatility, big risks, but also the ability to earn a lot sums of money is much higher. Some of my familiar traders combine trading in both markets.
As for the use of bots, I personally don't approve of this. I think that only I can make the right decision in a non-standard situation, while a bot can quickly lead me away in minus. But everyone must make a decision for himself, assessing all the risks.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: April 21, 2019, 08:46:29 PM
I know how people feel, those who invested in December or January like me, who fell love with crypto, and the way price was going up, never believed I have to see market cap under $250 billion. However, Everyday I check my Black folio app, I feel sick in my stomach. Sometimes I feel what I have done? But i knew there was a risk, i knew, I could lose money, but I couldn't control my rush of blood, seeing people buying right and left whatever they could.

But my question to all those investors, do you believe in crypto? If you do then hold tight because good days will come, if you are not in need an emergency cash, then hold your coin, It can't be red all days, it will be green. have some faith in this industry. I know it's hard seeing the bloodbath, what's happening, but we will rise again.

Even though I lost 70% of my portfolio, I'm still holding because I know good days are coming soon. Good luck guys.

Well, my current holdings are.

1. NEO
2. LISK
3. XLM
4. MCO
5. BAT
6. POWR
7. WABI
8. START
9. WTC
10. RPX

I want to tell you that the holding is not the only option. In fact, you froze your 36,000$  for an indefinite time with only a ghostly hope that everything will be fine. Of course, I believe in the crypto currency and that it will take root. I just don't rely on chance, but I manage my finances myself.
It has been more than a year since you acquired cryptocurrency, what did you find out about the trade during this time? You must understand that in any situation, only competent trade will bring you profit. Over the past 16 months, many 'crypto sponsors' have lost most of their deposit, but not all. Those who know how to trade, continue to earn.
I advise you also to learn this. It will certainly benefit you greatly.
189  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: April 21, 2019, 08:25:10 PM

What are your thoughts?
I have long ago decided for myself that I need to trade at different time intervals. That is why I have coins that I accumulate in order to sell in a few years. I also have coins that I hold for several months, that is, trade in the medium term. And of course I do short-term trading.
In general, I agree with the OP that the main thing is to approach any transactions in the market wisely. If the situation is such that you need to change your plan and sell the coin right now (although there was a plan to sell it after 1 year, for example), then you need to do it.
In general, the market for crypto currencies is not the place where there is stability, so you need to be able to quickly make decisions based on the market situation.
190  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All you can do is hold your ALTs for a few years on: April 21, 2019, 07:29:57 PM
If you haven't already sold your ALTs simply hold if your project is decent. If the project has no future sell and buy into a decent project. This is all you can do to recover your loss without putting in more money. It will probably take a couple of years to recover your loss!

Some ALTs will never recover from this crash!

It is an ugly situation!

Partially agree with you. But don't forget that the hold - this is not the only way out of this situation. If you leave all your coins in hold, then you get frozen funds, that is, you absolutely lose the opportunity to earn. But if you don't be lazy and learn how to trade, then you will get your reward. Trade makes it possible to earn always. Even if your coin has fallen in price, you can sell it in a minus and immediately earn on some other promising coin. Thus, in a relatively short period of time, you will not only return the money spent, but also earn it.
Of course, this method is only suitable for those who decide to understand the trade and master this skill.
191  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Patience is the main key of success on trading platform. on: April 20, 2019, 02:41:52 PM
I believe everyone know about this sentence, "patience is the main key of success of trading platform". But I am realising that in practical. I have patience but not enough I think. Because you can see the trend of RVN, I was hold it and just sold almost in 20% profit. But I didn't wait even volume was increasing, I just missed my own logic. I had enough patience really. But who know RVN will touch 1400+ satoshi but I sold it 450 satoshi only. That's why I am realising patience is the main key if success on trading platform.

In fact, everything is not as simple as it seems. You can not select only one quality or one truth that will make of you a successful trader. Being a successful trader is a permanent work on yourself: mastering new useful knowledge, working on the psychological aspects of your personality, practice and much more. Only the totality of this will bring you success. And if you just wait patiently, then for a longer period of time your result will be bad. Patience is appropriate only in the situation when you set a goal and patiently wait for the position to be sold at the intended price (only if there are no unexpected shocks on the market, otherwise you need to quickly make a decision about a possible change of plan).
192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not be Greedy on: April 20, 2019, 02:23:30 PM
In my opinion, the best time to sell is when the market price of the coin is 20%+ higher than the market price at which you bought the coin. Dont wait till the market price is 95%+ before you sell. That only happens when you got your eyes glues to your machine 24/7. Dont be greedy... Make a little profit and grow it over time. Cryptomarket is growing and full of terror! Be careful

Of course there are different situations on the market, on which the chosen sales target depends. So the very first thing to do before opening a position is to assess the market situation and the state of the selected coin and determine the point of sale. At different times and in different situations, the difference in the price of buying and selling can be completely different (it can be 5%, 15%, 35%, 70%, or any other percentage of earnings).
I agree that you do not need to be greedy, you need to soberly assess the market situation and act on the basis of your conclusions.
193  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning to trade on: April 20, 2019, 02:02:22 PM
I have been learning how to trade btc and altcoins by myself and having my experiences. I read online articles on trading signals and what to watch out for.  I've made some profits and lost a good deal.  Good thing I started with very little capital. Right now everything looks so negative especially as btc went so bearish.

I need advice on how to improve my trading because I really want to do this Angry

Each trader will have a certain path to success.
The first stage: is trading in a minus.
The second stage: is trading to zero.
The third stage: trading in a small plus.
The third stage: trade in a big plus.
Not all traders can reach every next stage. But having the above scheme before your eyes, it will be easier to achieve success. Each stage requires tremendous knowledge from the trader, improvement of skills and constant practice.
You need to constantly study the new information about trading, and then be sure to consolidate knowledge in practice. Gradually, you will form your own tactics and trading strategy. Good luck.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: EXPECTATION Vs. REALITY Bitcoin in the Eyes of the People! on: April 18, 2019, 03:07:52 PM
Yes, but such a reality. How to manage your money every person decides for himself. Nobody forbids beginners to learn, gain experience and develop skills in trade. Just need to take this moment into account.
Everything works on this principle, and not just the crypto currency market. And the desire to learn and earn of every newcomer in the crypto world depends only on himself. Choose who you want to be, an ignorant novice or an educated and intelligent trader.

PS: My post is written primarily for beginners!
In general, I fully agree that it is necessary to significantly raise the level of people's knowledge about the blockchain and crypto currency.

196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: January 22, 2019, 06:03:38 PM
ripple has a shot against ethereum but i doubt ethereum will fully goes down because maybe the whales out there were just toying with all the crypto people around. But, honestly speaking, ripple has a future and will always be behind bitcoin in the long run.
I think it is generally unwise to compare ether and ripple. These are completely different coins that perform completely different functions. I think that ripple, like ether, is one of the most promising altcoins today.
And the fact that even the most promising currencies will always be behind Bitcoin, I don't even question.

So, Bitcoin has huge advantage over both of them, something like Netscape over Internet Explorer and other minor browsers back then?

Of course, Bitcoin has a huge advantage. Bitcoin is an innovation. This is the invention that really gave rise to the changes in the world that we are seeing now. Each and every one of the other altcoins, just trying to copy the idea of Bitcoin and wrap it in a different cover. So, no matter how hard the development teams tried to pass off their products for something super important and unusual, it still remains a copy of the Bitcoin idea.
Of course, I don't deny the fact that in the future a new innovation can be created, which will eclipse Bitcoin.
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH is pumping! on: January 22, 2019, 05:45:13 PM
As the facts show, we cannot be sure of anything to the end. Already added negative news over the eth. Constantinople once again postponed.
Honestly, it doesn’t even surprise me much and I was ready for such a turn of events. I continue to be guided by my previous forecast: until the end of summer - autumn 2019, we will not see significant positive changes in the market.

there wont be pumping like in 2017, in 2019.
ethereum pumping will occur in 2020.
in my opinion it will reach 1000 dollar again in 2020.

That is what I'm trying to say. In the near future, I don't see any real prerequisites for the situation to change. I think that the situation will begin to change only in 6-7 months. In 2020 there is a high probability of reaching the preceding ATH and it is possible to reach new heights. But personally, I rather hope that the new ATH will be achieved only in 2021. Although if it comes earlier, I will be pleasantly surprised.
198  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in ICO or buy BTC? on: January 22, 2019, 05:27:41 PM
I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.

ICO time, unfortunately, is over. Now the best solution is to invest in Bitcoin. After the crypto currency market stabilizes and regulatory standards are developed for ICO, I think a new wave will start for ICO. But right now it is better to spend your time and money on real and existing promising currencies.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is this just a bounce? on: January 22, 2019, 05:11:45 PM
I see a very good increase in the last 2 weeks, but the slight increase was immediately ended by falling back. some say this is just a lure to attract buyers and then the market falls again.

What is your opinion?

Often this is exactly what happens. Sometimes the price rises and attracts new investors, sometimes with its rise or fall, the price forces all traders to buy or sell currencies. But all this is just big players thought-out plan. Cause that really only they can affect the price.
Of course, now that trading volumes are very low, it has become much easier to manipulate the price, so be vigilant.
