Volume has started to pick up though. There is sufficient demand for bitcoin from those who think "this is our last chance of buying".
In particular, this year has seen big legit investors expressing an interest in bitcoin, people who would normally be buying Apple shares, but now think they need a bit of bitcoin in their portfolio.
That said, the drama that will come in Nov with the next hard fork might derail things.
I am not agree with your opinion.Next hard fork has nothing to affect under current market conditions.Investors already bought rumors and they are ready to sell facts after hard fork. |

I am struggling making money with bitcoin trading, what is today's outcome?
Making money where you need to work hard for it not actually hard but when it comes to bitcoin you will realize things that you missed, Like in investments into ico's or trading your bitcoin into another alternative coins stocking them when you buy cheap coins and wait for the pump and if you want to sell its always up to you if you want to hold for more or sell that coins to see your profits. Markets are subject to change in case of huge supply/demand order.Demand comes with low prices in crypto world.There is always at least one hunter who waiting for his victims  |

As a old trader i always check forexfactory as a source of real news.You can find information there even about cryptocurrencies.Members post their predictions about latest crypto coins/tokens.But do your homework and check another sources. |

I have a lot of time to check all of the alt coins that I trade and with the campaign that I'm in today. I'm a man that values time more than myself because I grew up that I didn't know that time is really an important matter for a person that wants to be successful. I just make a list of things to do so that I won't skip any of them and I can do all of them, prioritizing my trades and checking the market.
THere is only one idea behind my time management: Never postpone things for tomorrow which you have to do today.For trading time is important factor like entry level of position.But waiting can be boring sometimes. |

There's no bull run. It will be sidelined for the rest of the year, unfortunatelly.
I do not agree completely with that, I think we are going to see massive movements up and down in the rest of th year, the fork that is coming will generate panic once again and the price is going to go down then I think we may see another bull run of people trying to get in to bitcoin to get an airdrop and finally I think we are going to see another decrease in price thanks to speculators selling their bitcoin once again, once they get what they want, so I think the rest of the year is going to be a roller coaster. I think its early to say that we are in bearish mode or probably seeing the correct price. But its good to see that the recovery is holding and up to now the price is good at $4000. The coming fork in November will definitely impact the price. I just hope it will be in a positive way so that we can see the price move further from $4000 to around $5000 at least in the end of the year. So now, we just need to observe where the price is going. The China effect did not put a dent of the price and we can all live without them and maybe can see the price going to $5000 or more. No problem, we are all entitled to our own opinion, your scenario is possible but if the previous fork is any indication we saw the ups and downs of the market, and when we compare the strength of the previous fork with the strength of the fork that is coming there is no comparison so to me the instability is going to be even greater, those are good news for speculators but not for the average person. Previous fork news was speculated heavily. But things changed a little bit compared to past experience.IMO we will see speculative news before fork but smart investors can easily decide between fake and real news. |

war ?? i think only bad news or good news can effect the cryptocurrency market.
This is not the way how cryptocurrency markets work.Both war and ant big threat against world have a power to affect markets.From my trading experience if there is a war possibilty between two country this news will spread during a few hours.It will affect to gold and oil prices first. |

I use to trade in altcoins on exchange. To be honest i lost in the last 2weeks,that my be because the price of btc has fallen to 3k around from 4.7k and also i got stuck in scam coins. If that happens to you dont panic just set your order to profit and forget that coin.
In reality every open position is right decision depending on time frame.Sooner or later price will bounce back to level which you opened that order.It can take years,months,weeks..That is why timing is important factor for traders.. |

There is nothing wrong in dumping but the issues you raised as much as I agree with them, the last paragraph shows you are jumping the boat when its stormy but ready to jump back in when the price hit rock bottom in other to make another massive profit. There is really nothing bad in being a profit motive individual but I am sure you will also dump you new bride BCH the moment the boat is being rocked as well.
Main problem in one sentence: Never predict bottoms and tops. You gonna to hurt yourself and trading results with catching falling knife just for soaring profit on markets |

These dumps keeps coming day after day, btc holding "OK" so far, but is this still all about china? or are we now in the long bear market since 5000 usd?
edit: also people keep talking about this being the best time to buy when prices are low, but in a free market, the concept of "best time" and "low" are relative.

No more panic thread like this one, The bitcoin quite stable in these days, you can try to see in some days ago the price alreayd plunged over 2% but it's back again to the 4k for each bitcoin, this just a little correction and that doesn't have any correlation with the big bearish market. If you ignore recent news came from East Asia i understand your idea to keep your positive predictions with analysing price chart correlations.Bear market doesnt need good arguments to stop falling price tendency on charts.. |

Bitcoin is a coin but works like token. sometimes people thinks that coin must have physical form and bitcoin have none, in other hand token, don't have physical form and just a number really like bitcoin, no doubt that people who are not really into crypto world might be confused by this, even many people are also thinking that bitcoin is like mobile phone balance, that's absurd but real.
tbh, im ok with what bitcoin will be called by people, lol.
No matter people gonna to call it whatever they want but main idea is understanding the whole concept beyond bitcoin and other crypto coins. |

I am all in fiat right now, because of all the uncertainty about legality of bitcoin or crypto in china, possible hardfork in november and not enough daily trading volume despite of good pump in price all suggesting we are either in bull trap or traders are anxious to just buy bitcoin at current price levels.
I am doing short term trading with bitcoin which is quite lucrative right now considering all the $100+ swings we have every hour. Easy money is there in short term trading...
If you know how to trade on short time frames go to trade altcoins on Bittrex. Because crazy movements almost happen everyday there.But volatility will kill your profits if you break your rules.In case of using leverage dont forget the fact: it is a double-edged sword.. |

No way, I don't think Bitcoin will go down below $4000 again after this issue is cleared!
IMO price needs a recovery and it gonna to hit 2500$ level again before Christmas.Emotions control the markets and that's why we see panic selling for every downtrend.It is zero sum game and smart traders will take opportunity thanks to emotions of less informed traders |

There is no way that bitcoin can break a contries aconomy, it can only boost. Imagine one poor and unknow country created biggest datancenter and started activity in blockchain system and bitcoin payment. Every bitcoin media will post it on their website, investors will get interested in it and see history of this country, will look other things and invest not only in bitcoin projects but in something different also. It will cause country's popularity, this means a possibly more touristd and investors, and of course finally a big boost in economy.
That's why governments are interested with blockchain projects rather than ignoring.For example,Estonia wants to create a new coin called Estacoin,Argentina wants to import about 200 local bitcoin ATMs.It can not replace cash as payment method but it can be part of whole payment system |
