I'm glad one thing is becoming more clear here every day. The price drop of Super looks like it's solely based on the fudders who sell their coins trying to get a major crash before a big pump. In the past in this thread i've seen that when 1 fudder stops the fud nearly all of them follow the lead and start to support the coin. Seems pretty clear to me that either one guy is behind all of these accounts or they are a pump & dump group.
People investing in this coin can read this and accept its truth, fudders can comment this any way they want. But keep this in mind: Super was trading for >1000 BTC daily. It traded for >50% of its market cap for days, before the hassle. The price that's being set right now is made with a fraction of that volume, only about 5 btc daily volume right now on bittrex. Only about 1% of the investors are dumping their Supercoins right now, all the others are either holding or buying more. I don't know how you see things, but there's not one economist out there that'll recognize this price to be a true reflection to the true value as of today.
As of now we have a market cap of about 150 BTC. I've invested in many coins before with a higher market cap than that but I'm pretty sure no coin has been technically superior to this one.
Let this sink in for a moment and think about it yourself. The technical properties vs the marketcap as of today. The 1% of the investors that artificially 'decide' the price right now. The fud(ders), why they do this and what they are trying achieve (keep in mind mostly good coins attract fudders).

People, we did so far many things in a short time, we keep working on the marketing & promotion problem to debug these days. It looks other crypto devs afraid from our progress and they paid some people to attack in our thread. Super created such a fear that a well known exchange, poloniex, made one of biggest fud in bitcointalk ever seen. So SUPER will have some more fud and trolls this is unavoidable in this eco system. We can open new moderated thread but this again will not stop them. I recommend ignore those members. They are here because we are alive. We will sort this out. We look for the right person. As a community we can do a lot more and shorter time. Let's get more organized as community. Now an actual reply from the "dev": Hello, I am the Supercoin dev, and I want to give an update to the community on our progress of the anonymous wallet work. First thanks to all for your patience. We've been working hard for a few weeks, and we almost finished the basic features, and they work fine. We are doing final dev testing. We will soon (in a few days) release a new version of the client (no hardfork) that will support anon features. But we want more tests to be done with the community, so for now we will only limit the anon feature in testnet environment. It will be the same client, but the anon features will be only allowed in testnet for now. We will decide, depends on how tests go, when the features will be in real network. So what is anon features? Anon features hide the traces of the transaction. So basically when you want to send from A to B, instead of showing in the blockchain explicitly a transaction showing A-B, it may show A->X, then Y->B, where X, Y are some random addresses (at least from a large address pool). Of course the transaction can be further obfuscated, such as you can split the sending amount to several parts, and apply the above for each part. This way, it is virtually impossible to trace the real transaction. So it protects your privacy. I will provide more details to our anon feature strategy and implementations later. And if you have questions, please post in the thread, the dev team will answer them as soon as possible (remember we all have our daily jobs, so please be patient  ) I was the one who suggested the name "SuperSend" which devs took on board: Supercoin needs some fancy marketing terms! For example: SuperSend v1 = Current Phase 1 implementation of Anon transfer. SuperSend v2 = Revolutionary Phase 2 p2p decentralized Anon transfer that's secure and fast. SuperSend v3 = Super secret Phase 3 implementation that will change the crypto scene forever.  Dev, if you name them with something marketable like above on the OP, we can start tweeting / spreading the new terms. I find it interesting and useful. Thank you. More reassurances from the dev before releasing Phase 1 anon on the live network. He also talks about Phase 2. Thanks everyone for helping and explaining the details. I can ensure you that SUPER dev team is a very qualified team, we know what we are doing. We just delivered anon features (enabled only for testnet now), please test it and give us feedback and help us to fix issues. I saw a few tested and happy with it, we need more people to test. As we previously mentioned, we are also working on the phase-2 algorithm now, and the progress is very promising. Together, we will make SUPER a lot more SUPER!

We are progressing everyday. This weekend or next we hope to set up the multipool. Phase 2 may take more, it's real complex task but we are progressing on it as well. Another reply to the same question that keeps popping up: We are all asking for ETA on phase two, why you not answering us? We are working on it, difficult task. So... Who thinks this coin is dead? Who thinks the devs are scammers? Was it worth it to FUD? To me who's been around from nearly day 1 of this thread, I still see that the devs are working. If this was their full time job, maybe they can code it quicker. But it's not. Need to respect that. Buying the coins don't really help the dev one bit. Harassing them does more harm than good also. Let them work on it. Time is gold. Help by other means such as promo videos, marketing mateirals, tweets (#supercoin) etc or even just a cheer up post for the devs. I didn't pay them to work for me. Interesting ! Wait, what do we have here, Busoni the owner of Poloniex apologising to Supercoin for his lack of code reading 1 day later ? I would like to point out that I did not personally review the code, as many people seem to think. The person who did has very high standards and was not thrilled with what he saw, and he was overzealous in his criticisms. When I made this post, I firmly believed that the maximum supply was inflated. My intention with going public before contacting the devs was to make sure they did not have a chance to cover up the mistake or take advantage of the issue.
It is my responsibility to ensure that these issues are addressed correctly, so no fingers should be pointed anywhere but at me. I see now that I should have had another reviewer confirm the findings, and investigated sufficiently to make sure I understood all of the code myself before proceeding. I apologize for this misstep. There are still some parts of the code we're concerned about, so our investigations will continue, and I will talk to the devs privately about the anon feature.
This whole raising the standards for coins thing is in an early stage, and we are constantly improving our process. We believe strongly in integrity and transparency, and it has always been my intention to use Poloniex's position to improve the quality of crypto.
You want to buy super so desperately like all the other fudders ? Please keep posting Busoni's thread, show the world how our dev is able to make difficult codes that Poloniex doesn't understand |

so bought this coin at 0.00011, invested 2.5 btc, now have 0.6 not bad  That's why you gotta make smart choices when day trading. Know your limit and know when to get off. I got off at its peak and bought in much lower. With this much trolls//fud//hate... you know this coin has potential otherwise they wouldn't be here. Glad to hear some wise words here. I also sold my Super yesterday at 4k, invested in another coin, increased my stack to 150% today and bought Super again at 3k. If the fudders don't stop you just gotta play along i suppose... And Supercoin was worth more than 3k before anon was implemented, even at its lowest since it's on Bittrex. This sunday I'm going on a trip through Europe for 2 weeks and will have a passive investment in this coin. Once Super gets decentralized there's no doubt this coin will see sunshine after the rain (no matter how long the rain will continue to drop down). |
