Old darkcoin (xcoin) wallet won't sync? Sent my coins from it to new wallet but new wallet has not received them
1. Make sure/ certain, you have your old wallet.dat file backed up!!!! 2. close your NEW wallet 3. Drop your wallet.dat from your old wallet into the new wallet's darkcoin file (in AppData/roaming/darkcoin for windows vista and 7 (and?) 4. start the wallet application and you should see your money in there unless it somehow got sent, which I don't believe could have happened.

Wow, another one for the ignore list. I've been on a lot of forums, but have ignored one person before I came here. I think this is the 4th or 5th person I've ignored! What do you mean? Don't know what you mean I consider myself a very tolerant person. Yet I've had to put so many people on ignore because they're so annoying and stupid, attention seeking FUD spreading waste of space. If I don't, I'll go down the angry well, and I don't like drowning in that well. I'd rather drown in the well of love and happiness  stupid question but how do I back up the wallet data from the old wallet ? Copy the wallet.dat file from your Darkcoin folder to somewhere safe. Should be in something like C:\Users\user\appdata\roaming\darkcoin. |

Dammit, one GPU went SICK. Dropped to I19 and 975 core, will see how that goes... the ones in this rig are XFXs which do not have a stellar rep but were dirt cheap. Other rigs are Sapphires, and Gigabyte Windforce jobbies, which will hopefully take a bit more abuse when I get around to it tomorrow.
You run 270's at I19? My 270x's run best at 13. Well I am now as I20 killified one of them after 30 minutes.  Fingers crossed. What clocks are you running? Maybe I should drop the intensity and up the core/mem speeds? I'm new to X11, still experimenting. 1150 core and 1480 mem, get 1.36 Mh/s each @ I-13. |

I just got my kill-a-watt that I ordered to play with. I plugged my rig into it, turned it on, and let it idle at the desktop for a while. The idle wattage was bouncing between 105 and 120 watts. I then started up the cpu miner, on an i5 4670k @ 4.5 GHz, and it ran at 182 watts. I then fired up sgminer on my 270x's, an asus dc2-270x and a sapphire dual-x or something like that, and it only went up to 330 watts. That seems a little too good to be true doesn't it? Only 148 watts to run two 270x's? I then ran a scrypt coin just to see what wattage it would pull and it went up to 490. I just wanted to say, X11 is great I'm using even less energy than I thought! Though I have a feeling I'm not using the meter right for some reason  |

Since I can't find a calculator for this, is my calculation somewhat accurate for a single R9 290 doing 2.5MH/s?

You can go to http://webchat.freenode.net/ and connect to the #darkcoin channel. Enter !calc 2500 in the chat, it will tell you how many coins you would get per hour at the current difficulty. |

take a look at x11 coins, hirocoin in particular. insanely asic hostile, and power draw/heat reduced 50%.
i realy think this is the next huge gpu/cpu only coin. hashrate increasing daily, so it definetly has support.
blackcoin is also nice, but its created so that it would be mined fast and only good for bagholders, dont think that will keep the price long, noone wants other ppl bag too long..
on the other hand , hirocoin has a steady growth, and no premine. so far so good

Are you going to do something IRL? Consider having some people stand in the center of Amsterdam and hand out paper wallets with EFL or something like that. What bothers me about this coin is the 50% premine. I am not sure if you will actually give that to citizens or you are going to use that to make yourself rich.
You want to stay anonymous, that also doesnt help your credibility.
There will be no "airdrop". Do you know what it takes to spread 10,500,000 EFL over 420,000 people? Lol... Dev will "airdrop" the premine on an exchange and run away with the BTC. There is no way to check if the "team" really sent those premined coins to the citizens of Holland. Nobody in the Netherlands is interested in an "airdrop" of this coin anyway. Utilitybill? Lol... We get them once a year... 25 EFL each? Lol... You think people will share their identity (with a dev that doesn't identify himself) for a measly 25 EFL with a streetvalue of € 0.05?  This is a pump & dump scam, nothing more... Don't fall for it... You could say the same for any of these "country" coins... I'm guessing you have a stake in a different one and are just trying to steer people away from this one right? |
