Nodes? After a half dozen tries, I successfull transplanted the BTC chain, but the Credits chain isn't coming.

What is the duration of your signature campaign? 1 month-3 month or 3 month+?
What happens if some participant doesnt post the minimum post for that week?
Do you dismiss him/her? Or wait for another week to reach the minimum?

If a user doesn't reach the minimum posts for that week, they are removed (sorry!) to make room for another user that makes more posts. We have a small number of slots available, and wouldn't want one of them filled without that user making use of the signature space. However, they will still receive the 10 CRE bonus. And also realized that post at altcoin threads are countable -as long as they are constuctive- , could you please confirm it? I want to attend when above questions answered as I thought. Cheers... Yes, posts in altcoin threads are allowed as long as they are constructive. Also regarding length, we have to fixed date at which the campaign will end. The developer is funding this campaign, and his thoughts were to get it running and see how much of an impact it has. The campaign could go as short as 1 month, or as long as 10 months. Thanks! Manual payouts every Saturday. If you enroll on a Wednesday, and get 50 posts done before Saturday Noon EST, you will be paid the max amount. |

This is taking aaaaages to sync... I want to check this coin out, though.

is there trick to mining this coin?
setgenerate true ..been running it for 2 hrs and 0 coins...
Block time is 15 minutes, so 4 blocks in 1 hour. Patience... :-) Have Xeon E5 and waiting for block almost 12 hours... See reply above. Difficulty increased quite a lot around block 10000. ok course Gabriel. Sometimes mine block every hour... Block times have gotten slower since we had a huge spike in network hashtags earlier this week, resulting in a difficulty spike and the network hash rate dropped. Difficulty should re-evaluate soon, to allow for a quicker block time. |

We'd have to discuss what the "going" rate for a credit is however, if you'd like to use KLYE's public ledger (see the ANN thread for Credits), we can use that price and convert your bitcoin rate to credits. PM me what you think, and your credits address! i think i'll wait till an online wallet is possible, will i still get my 10 credits? You'll still get your 10 CRE welcome bonus, yet don't count on an online wallet immediately, if you have the disk space I'd recommend getting the client on your PC (or Mac) for now. |

yesterday i see in OP you accept member rank or below and now you uprate OP no more accept that but how about for which already enrolling before the update because i see in google spreadsheet there are some member and jr member still on you list
Members enrolled before I limited the rank, will still be paid. Hence why they are still on the spreadsheet and how about a payment for a member rank still 0.0005 per post or 0.0004? If they enrolled when the rate was 0.0005, they get paid at that rate. If they enrolled after I lowered it to 0.0004, they will be paid at 0.0004. However regardless, there will be no more rate changes for Member and below, as they are no longer going to be accepted into the campaign. Sorry! |

Any plans for a lightweight client? The idea looks interesting but the requirement that users must download the Bitcoin blockchain might turn off some people from getting involved. Is this a limitation inherited by all BTC sidechain coins?
So far, there is a plan yes. I believe that is what Gabriel is currently working on, as well as dual-functionality between Bitcoin/Credits in the Credit client. Would be awesome to only need one client for both! |
