191  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best Bitcoin Payment API on: June 19, 2015, 07:15:44 AM
Hey guys

I'm currently in the process of building a website that will utilize bitcoin payments, however I am undecided on which payment API to use.

The options i have considered:

- blockchain: simple API, easy to implement but not very secure and has had problems in the past
- bitpay: free (no fees), extensive API but limited documentation and requires verification. Converts to AUD
- coinpayments: 0.5% fee, decent api and docs
- gocoin: converts to AUD, 1% fee, not sure about the API

Anyone have option on which is the best API?

Thanks Smiley

Bitpay is the best, but, not the number one. I am currently using it's API. it's just awesome. If it will support LTC & Doge in the near future then it'll be the number one.
coinbase is the number one  Grin

194  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is Virwox Safe? on: June 18, 2015, 04:58:05 PM
yes i can confrim that Virwox is legit, at least i never had problems with it.

but since i discover other sites i will not use it, the reason is simply, thay have a high expensives taxes and since there is others who do the same and cheap i will not use it again anymore.

Yes fee is very high.
for newbie it offers 3.9% trade fee.

Example :

If you want to use paypal to buy bitcoins via virwox then --

for $100 deposit virwox cut off 3.4% plus 0.35 EUR

then you need to buy Linden dollars with dollars...virwox cut off 3.9% trade fee
next you need to sell Linden for btc ... virwox cut off 3,9% trade fee again !

And finally to withdraw bitcoins virwox cut off fixed 0.01 BTC withdrawal fee per withdrawal

Hey guys  Smiley

I wanted to ask a question as you can see in the title of the topic. I was wondering if Virwox was safe as you all know i am from India and what i wanna use Virwox for...... Evil

I had some BTC in the past and my account was null automatically. But i tried here and there but couldn't find anything helpful, Also i don't know what is the minimum amount to withdraw money  no idea

This topic is not about any exchange. I just want some info and that is it  big grin

199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Bitcoin is just like as a Swiss Bank Acc for holding black money ?? on: June 18, 2015, 08:33:25 AM
The Swiss banks do actually know the names of the account holders - contrary to popular belief - it just shows a number on the bank transactions instead of a name is all.

Bitcoin is actually a pretty poor anonymous currency as the ledger and transactions can be followed and many times the end point will show who the user is.

I think you mean 'Dash' or 'Monero' for super-secret criminal money.

Dash & Monero are alt-coins. I don't think about them. privacy protection in BTC is really needed to upgrade ...
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] Bitcoin is just like as a Swiss Bank Acc for holding black money ?? on: June 18, 2015, 08:30:04 AM
Voted more secured, but really it is nothing like a bank account, the difference between Bitcoin and a bank is that your computer is the bank and all the miners people use are the regulators. The software just doesn't discriminate against people based on what they're doing the same way a banking system does and that's why banks and governments hate it so much.

You can't persecute numbers and letters which is really all Bitcoin is in the end but that's what makes it such a good currency.
