181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: April 26, 2023, 11:35:56 PM
there is so much hope to reach $1 is not impossible but it takes years and very long and even then if they can survive well in the following years. shiba is very different from doge which has a very big opportunity I think
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XLM - yes or no? on: April 26, 2023, 11:32:04 PM
XLM is my favorite coin since 2017, it's thriving and surviving until now. maybe that is good news for all of us.
183  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH gas fees are a joke. on: April 26, 2023, 11:17:10 PM
There is no other way if you have ERC20 network type assets, I think gass $3 is very standard compared to last few months which can touch $15 per transaction on ERC20 network.
the cheap one at this time is definitely the BEP20 network
184  Economy / Economics / Re: Social media, now looking more for business than for socializing. on: April 23, 2023, 07:32:54 PM
Social media starts to be business depending on the number of followers you have. The moment you pass a threshold of followers you can monetise your content, and there are few who do not. There are also a lot of ads on social media. The remaining part of social is the people who have followers from the threshold and use social media to interact with them, to pass the time.

But you don't have to wait for a large number of followers to start a business from social media with good quality followers will come by themselves
185  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 23, 2023, 07:10:45 PM
Nobody is happy to lose money, money is not easy to make some when one looses money it hurt a lot, everyone one there own experience of what it feel when we do lose money, unless that peeson didn't work for that money, if you work for your money and you losses it in one way or another then u will know how it feels, I have a friend who using his life saving  to invest, he didn't ask question and did everything without even talking to me his friend, then he lost the money, he almost died, it took a very long time before he could get his self. So all am saying it that nobody is happy to lose money

True, losing money where we work for money is a painful thing, but if you lose money earned not through effort the pain will be lighter
186  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: April 23, 2023, 07:03:51 PM
I have always wanted to ask this question is it that there is no opportunity or they do not want to get rich
Mate please more to this I am confused here.

There are many possibilities why they remain in that position maybe there is a lack of information and education about various things that can improve their economy or maybe someone is comfortable with that position
187  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: April 22, 2023, 03:25:28 PM
However, I believe that if the problem of corruption can be addressed at a young age, every country's degree of corruption will significantly decline in the near future.
The surest way to discourage corruption is to state clearly strong punishments for defaulters and ensure that the defaulters are made to face the full penalty of the law. If an example is made out of some individuals, it can prompt change which can have a ripple effect on the mindset of other individuals. Corruption can be an effect of an environmental factor that is when everyone around you is corrupt it is difficult for you to maintain an incorruptible culture, In other words, an environment full of incorruptible people can turn a corrupt person for the better.

True, but socialization from an early age is needed to make the younger generation aware of the evils of corruption, corruption sanctions and the bad consequences of corruption
188  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: April 22, 2023, 03:05:04 PM
If someone wanted to get rich then they need to create their own opportunity, and talking about poor they do wanted to get rich but for many reasons they can't no matter how much they make. Main reason why everyone can't become rich is simply they don't know anything about how money works even though they use it everyday, they spent money but not give importance to savings then how they can invest and make returns?

True they don't think about money to save or invest not because they don't want to but they don't have the knowledge to manage their money they tend not to want to find out about it
189  Other / Off-topic / Re: Prepare for the life when you get old on: April 22, 2023, 02:56:13 PM

Last week, I met one of my uncles-in-law who has been a sailor for many years. In the past decade, he has been out of town and travelling all over the world to make a living. He has two children to raise and being a father who is always absent from their growing-up, he somehow does not know how to get along with his kids once he is back home once a year. In this transition period, usually like one month or two, he will find him some odd jobs  to make money to support his family. Unfortunately in this economic downturn, it is very difficult to find a job so he is quite upset now. Staying at home means no income and this makes my aunt very anxious. This uncle is in mid fifties and he is one of the most diligient people I've ever known. Ever since he was young, he would always keep busy doing all kinds of jobs to make money. I have to say that he made some savings for some years but it was most used up by sending his daughter to study overseas. Under today's economic condition, he has to wait more time to be assigned onboard and it is said his salary will be slashed big next time he has an offer. Well, to make a living, he has to accept that. He used to be a happy-go-lucky guy and always have a smile every day, last week I saw him, he was more like silent and upset.

As he ages, the window for him is closing. I never saw him encounter any financial problem because he has been diligient and frugal. This meet-up has completely changed my mind. Even people like him are struggling financially and we'd better prepare a comfortable life for the old version of ourselves. This uncle is still doing okay although with some struggles but I am sure there are millions who are broke and wish they could have made and saved more money when they were young. Always plan for the future. What do you think ?
Saving money when we are still young is a good preparation for the future, the problem is how can we save money when we don't even have it, or we cannot support our daily needs, then there's nothing left for saving, it is hard specially when we are poor and we only have a minimum wages. I believe that there's a lot of people that is suffering with the situation they wanted to save money but how?.

To meet their daily needs, there is no money left to save, therefore some people have side jobs to meet their needs as well as to prepare themselves in case of an emergency. side jobs will be very helpful if you want to have money saved for the future
190  Economy / Economics / Re: Should you save, when you are wealthy? on: April 21, 2023, 07:44:28 AM
Everyone wants to achieve financial freedom, how is the process and when will it happen, no one knows, because many factors influence it, such as information obtained, experiences that have been passed, relationships and so on.
191  Economy / Economics / Re: Scarcity and scale of preference on: April 21, 2023, 07:27:59 AM
True, it is not enough but it cannot be denied that there are still many greedy people who have power and abuse this power to obtain resources so that many people are deprived and can even get no resources at all.
Ultimately what needs to be met is not wants
192  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption Should Be Taught From Young Age on: April 21, 2023, 07:16:25 AM
Indeed socialization from an early age regarding corruption can have a positive impact on life in the future. It cannot be denied that corruption is a big problem. In my opinion, dissatisfaction with what is obtained from the work done is the initial factor for people to commit corruption. a thank you is not enough to repay hard work.
193  Economy / Economics / Re: Economic power on: April 21, 2023, 06:45:52 AM
it is true that economic strength is a benchmark in every aspect, a small example like from economic strength we can find out what a person's true nature is, how he interacts with people whose economy is weak and people whose economy is strong
194  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 21, 2023, 06:25:59 AM
it might be a tough day, if asked sad or not sure depression sad would be one of them maybe if it happened to a few people there would be someone who would try to commit suicide
It's not easy to find a trusted business in this sophisticated era, people can cheat in ways we may never have thought of before
195  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are Meme Coins? on: April 20, 2023, 08:48:51 PM
His name has been nicknamed a meme, of course he is easy to rise and of course it is also easy to fall down. I think it depends on how famous the coin meme is picked up by other people or if the quality is really good. Don't judge coin memes wrong, it's possible that your coins or the assets you invest there can turn to ashes. be careful and learn
Meme tokens can pump and dump anytime, they are being controlled by the manipulators and as you can see on the last hype of Elon to DOGE, its price goes pump but then after that, there was a big drop as well. There’s already a lot of meme tokens, but only two of them is able to hit the big market, the rest are just a scam tokens.

I agree with your opinion, as I said, memes are still memes, without influential people they are nothing.
196  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: April 20, 2023, 08:11:35 PM
From yesterday, XRP is indeed one that will make a profit, but they are not easy to go through. I think it is very risky to invest in XRP because of the problems they are facing. As for ADA, I think it's still gray to invest there. why not in ETH which obviously might have a lower risk than the two??
197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What holds you back from investing in Altcoins ? on: April 20, 2023, 06:13:28 PM
I think you misjudged altcoins. In the basic context, maybe in the past altcoins mostly depended on bitcoin but in fact now they don't. so maybe some of my friends also agree that holding altcoins is safer than bitcoin because bitcoin currently has a lot of influence from various kinds of alliances

200  Economy / Economics / Re: Age as a factor depreciating some people of their dreams on: April 13, 2023, 06:32:07 PM
It is true that age is not something that limits us from achieving our dreams because we never know what will happen to us in the future, but don't let so many people achieve their dreams in their old age that it makes us lazy to try. achieve future dreams. our youth, never stop trying to achieve your deams
