I think runners should specify whether certain routes will have privacy or not. For example, for local destinations, a runner could safely not look at packages and post his promise so as to attract more packages. However, if the runner is about to take a trip by airplane, he will have to peek at any packages that he’s carrying, and should specify that condition on his profile.

I don't know what's so "amazing" about it. Obama's birth certificate has been online since 2008 if not earlier: http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html

Ahhh, yes, I believe Homer cheated Flanders/the devil that way.
No, it was more like the worst sin ever because you were basically stealing from God since your soul belongs to him.

I recall from somewhere that souls don't even exist. Make of that what you will.  Wink
Heh, I'm not exactly a poster catholic. Just reciting what the church dictated to me as a child.
184  Economy / Marketplace / Re: [Selling] One Soul on: April 28, 2011, 12:21:46 AM
I recall something from catechism about how we can sell our souls because they don't really belong to us. Make of that what you will.

It voids the contract. You can't modify the blood outside the body and then use it to sign a legal document.
You need to use it as it comes out. I don't know why loading up on heprin or something similar wouldn't do it.
Also we could avoid the inkjet and just write it by hand. I think a quill pen would be the best but a fountain would suffice.
Does it even have to be blood. I can think of a few other, ah, fluids...

I think that nodes should be able to specify their schedules as well as weight and size limits, but I don't think any should know the contents of the package. Otherwise, senders will simply lie about the contents. If the nodes really wanted to know, they could just peek.

If authorities compromise a node, that person can log into the site with a second password that will stop the system from routing packages through that node.

Make sure your computers' GPUs support mining too.

Consuming the rat poison is a necessity. It works by blocking an enzyme responsible for the recycling of vitamin K, which is used in the clotting process. Only after the body's supply of vitamin K is depleted will the blood cease to clot. This takes several days. This is also why vitamin K is an effective antidote.  Since this is the Bitcoin forum, I might clarify that vitamin K means phylloquinone, not ketamine.  Alternatively, blood from someone with hemophilia may suffice. But they may not be the one selling their soul.
EDTA, the stuff in the purple capped vacuum tubes, won't suffice?

It also clots in the nozzles, plugging them.

This can be prevented by consuming an anticoagulant rat poison such as D-Con three to five days prior. These use agents similar to warfarin to make blood clotting impossible. Once extracted for printer use, an antidote of Vitamin K can be given to ward off death due to internal hemorrhage.
Can't you just add an anticoagulant to the blood after drawing it?

Guys, stop joking around with this stuff. Before you know it, Louis Cyphre is going to come along and make you kill Lisa Bonet.

Also, I would like to tell that fraud CC's aren't really harming the single person who owns the CC, but rather the CC company as most of them give you back your stolen money. Friend of mine just got stolen 2400€ via his CC and he got it all back pretty easy (sic!)
Greets, M
Lol where does the CC company get the money to reimburse you with? They get it from the fees that their customers pay. In other words, the customers pay for the fraud and as such experience harm.

Now you can install Linux on the ps3 again! And it has full access to all system hardware. Some one woukd have to convert to miners to PPC code and optimize it to use the SPUs. If any one wants to know how to install Linux just ask me.
Link, please.
193  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Monitoring headless Mining PCs on: April 25, 2011, 05:20:51 PM
How do you guys monitor the PCs to make sure the mining program is still running and not hanged?
Interesting. Both hung and hanged could work in this sentence, with the latter as more of a metaphor.

My apologies, FatherMcGruder...I have edited my earlier post.
No worries, I'll waive my royalty. Everybody gets one.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Currency Symbol ฿ on: April 25, 2011, 03:52:35 PM
a wise man (kiba) once told me:

Quote
"The only real standard is a defacto standard."
Ahem:

if course I'm joking around...ofcourse it is important to have a standardized, commonly agreed-upon and recognized symbol
The only standard we can reasonably hope for is a de facto one.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What world currencies are actually backed by gold? on: April 25, 2011, 01:12:26 PM
But that's what governments did. They specified exchange rates and expected people to believe that they held as much gold as the currency in circulation represented.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What world currencies are actually backed by gold? on: April 25, 2011, 01:02:04 PM
You can just exchange gold and bitcoins at whatever rate you specify.
198  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: losing bitcoins? on: April 24, 2011, 08:28:12 PM
Do I retain my private key even if I have spent the bitcoin?
Yes.

Another drone could come and retrieve it. Perhaps using something like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fulton_surface-to-air_recovery_system

Packages could have accelerometers, GPS, and cell phones. When it lands it can send its location via text to the recipient.
