181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: February 26, 2014, 04:25:14 PM
So much troubles with Poloniex... It's blocked the whole time since some days!

Yes, a little frustrating - I know the creator is very active and making changes, adding features and adding coins.. I think people are starting to use this exchange more and more, leading to typical growing pains many have. I'm working on the assumption that Tristan knows what he is doing and is getting everything in order, he certainly is very active and busy.

Update & Questions

We now have windows qt (Pompobit) and mac os qt (thesamson) maintainers, who have each released stable current versions of insanity coin. I would like to donate 400 WOLF to each of them from the supply, with an additional 200 WOLF to Pompobit, as he worked for days to fix Litecoins [ulr]https://github.com/litecoin-project/litecoin/issues/111]issue 111[/url] for us, something which ensure we have a new stable wallet, and something nobody else has done yet that I'm aware of. If nobody objects with a fair reason, I will allocate and send the WOLF to them tomorrow.

As a community, is this ann thread enough to keep up to date with Insanity Coin? If not what community resources would you like? (twitter, subreddit, website, blog, all of the above?)

Finally, a quick heads up that investment from the east is coming to the project to purchase wolf, support translation and promotion, and support it longer term (long after the 9 week trading game / distribution phase), expect updates in due course.

Ann updated.

Best Regards and thanks for your support and interest so far.
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: February 26, 2014, 09:32:31 AM
can we get the coin added to coinmarketcap.com

Probably, but I personally feel it's a little too early, let's give it a couple of weeks, ideal time would be just as the supply runs dry.

mini update:
  • pot at 24, on target nicely to hit or break 100 this week
  • discussing wolf with some larger chinese investors I know and organizing translation
  • starting to be convinced I should iteratively develop insanitycoin with some very unique features to ensure longevity

tldr; feeling this coin may end up being my full time job for the next year or so

Sounds awesome!

thanks Smiley online and processing orders again
183  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: VSC VisaCoin 100 BTC+ Scam [Identity] on: February 26, 2014, 08:54:36 AM
All,

I went in to great technical depth to find Raj in the first instance. After finding him and being very sceptical at first, I've consulted all information provided, I've even had unattended access to his full server which houses his own websites and visacoin.info.

I am 99.9% sure that Raj is not the scammer, there is a small 0.1% chance he is, but judging by his transparency I'm quite sure that he is just another victim in all of this, and deserves to be treated as one. He's had a tough 24 hours, and there is nothing which points to what he is saying as being false. Are we suggesting that before purporting any scam he had a full email conversion with himself? that he didn't use any of his own bitcoin in the scam? that ..

Sadly though, that is as far as we can go down technical paths to do with the domain / website / hosting to try and track the scammer, the only people who have any chance of helping us are the bitcointalk mods.
184  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: VSC VisaCoin 100 BTC+ Scam [Identity] on: February 26, 2014, 03:01:06 AM
Okay, I've checked everything I possible. There is no conclusive anything, no logs, no anything.

The only one thing is this:

The folder test was created at 02:48:29 2/26/2014 UTC, which sets the timezone as -08:00, USA.

Australia is UTC+8, which means that the files were uploaded around 12:20-12:35 on the 3rd January, which ties in with what raj has said, and the emails.

It is my opinion that Raj is telling the truth, and we have no way of telling who our scammer is Sad

Thank you Raj for your time and patience. Please let the community know how much you are also owed, and we'll find a way to reimburse you, or ideally get funds from the scammer, should we find him.

A Turing complete scripting layer run by the full clients (mining nodes) is subject to the Halting problem. You are begging for Murphy's Law due to centralizing chaos.

When we run JavaScript in our Chrome browser, we are not requiring Google's servers to run the scripts. I see your mitigation is to charge the contract per line of code executed (beyond 16) for each transaction on the contract. However the cost of execution is "not one size fits all", thus you prevent innovation and bind together that which should be decentralized freedom.

I said this a few months ago when Vitalik was writing the paper, it was my first and only comment. You wrote the problem and the answer above.

Here's an "update" for you.

Sarah is a "double bagger", in that, if you f*ck her you have to have a bag over your head and one on hers.

Either that or it has to be a threesome.

One guy to f*ck her and another guy to stick something in her mouth to keep her shut up!

My $.02.

I accessed my server logs unfortunately it cant store more than 5 days of log files and maintained by hosting provider not me. I have contacted hosting provider to get 1 month back log files, but its not possible .

Please find log files

https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cn7pex7k3y7bk0g/QJdNgRVeYw

Also, I have dropped email message headers from that f*cker if anyone interested.

Server log files

I have dropped nameservers from this domain.

Some asked Why I registered as private registration. Its not very hard to know any private registration, This domain cost me $2 and private registration is free as part of some promotion.  I missed NXT shares initially. I was interested not only in VisaCoin also other crowdfunding coins. I bought 2 btc, thought to provide 0.5 btc to visacoin and remaining to other coins. Tempted and Ended up in buying some altcoins like datacoin(at $1, price dropped to 0.5 within weeks), bought some alt coins on ebay initially at higher price and came to know about these forums and exchanges. At last before bobsled event, I bought dogecoins as my lost hope and converted all my alt coins and btc around 0.5  to dogecoins.

here is the invoice

http://postimg.org/image/e6vi4x7et/full/

I'm active on reddit not much active on bitcoinforums after buying dogecoins,

There's nothing in there which can be identifiable.

1) Did "visacoin" upload anything to the domain?
2) If not, do you have the logs from the first day? It stands to reason that the first person who was not you to see the domain was "visacoin", thus their ip will be the first not-you ip in the logs from the 3rd/4th january.

The logs from a month after the scam, email headers form gmail which shows no ip, really do not help. All you have showed here is continued evidence of you buying, creating, and providing everything to do with visacoin.

If you don't have the time or info to collect this information, feel free to send me the admin details for that hosting, I'll be quick and discreet and get the info if it's there (I've hosted websites for 15 years on a variety of boxes)

Sincerely trying to help you and the community here, need something more to go on.

189  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gox Crisis Management Plan Confirmed Legitimate on: February 26, 2014, 12:55:04 AM
So .. 750,000 coins actually are "missing" from Gox.  Hoe lee sheet.

Sounds deflationary. The M1 of bitcoin just went down by 750,000 BTC (6%), no?

no, and not just, all of those coins could be in circulation and have past through many hands, we all may own some of them, if just means gox doesn't have btc to give some people (lot's of people) if that figure is correct.

just how the hell they couldn't notice that there wallet(s) and account balance(s) were out by 750,000 for several years is beyond me though.. or just how we are expected to believe that more than 750,000 was still held on gox after all their stupidity the recent years..

this really does not add up.

erm we just went to do a withdraw and the wallet is empty.. okay how much is out? ... 750,000 <--- does not happen, unnoticed.
190  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gox Crisis Management Plan Confirmed Legitimate on: February 26, 2014, 12:48:23 AM
So, tell me, where do you see confirmation on that piece of information?

No confirmation, but I am starting to wonder if Mark didn't spill his coffee on the cold storage hard drive.

you've seen http://www.scribd.com/doc/209050732/MtGox-Situation-Crisis-Strategy-Draft yes?
+snap on the comment lol
191  Economy / Speculation / Re: Copy of the alleged MTGox Crisis draft strategy on: February 26, 2014, 12:42:54 AM

So every journalist will start reading at 750k bitcoins and stop reading at "set back for 5-10 years" - thanks for that strategy writer
192  Economy / Speculation / Re: Gox Crisis Management Plan Confirmed Legitimate on: February 26, 2014, 12:27:42 AM
when I see "technically unavailable" I think "dropped the cold storage wallet in a fish tank"

this is either very complex fraud or very simple technical stupidity, or both.

edit: damn both, according to the strategy document
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why the shutdown of Mt. Gox won't kill Bitcoins on: February 26, 2014, 12:07:06 AM
the 750,000 number

I've seen that a lot today, where the source of this number, and any proof at all it's even partially real?

edit: oh yeah
194  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][WOLF] InsanityCoin - coin for investors and traders on: February 25, 2014, 11:33:37 PM
Well, that sounds like something the NXT platform/s could handle soon.  Wink

no comment lol, please don't spoil all my fun, was thinking about the platform not the currency

btc pot at 28 BTC after 2 days, 4 to go, going offline for the night at circa 01:30 UTC.

Think you might be on to something here.

Im thinking a suite of crazy/mad/stupid mini trading games. Havn't given it too much thought, but what sprung to mind was a kind of duck-shoot, where if you had control of a non sequential order execution book (e.g. crypto rush), you could 'shoot' at peoples orders in a pre-defined/announced range of price, possibly. Could even use a troll-box to announce. Be fun watching everyone shuffle their prices around hoping to get 'hit'.

I was thinking more along the lines of the first 3rd generation coin, why aim low with novelty stuff. How about mounting the whole thing on the www with a decentralized exchange running on top of blockchains, in browser mining, share mining pay walls, vote based distributed whaling where the wolf pack works as together with votes as a whale.. something a little more innovative. May as well raise the bar a little.. we don't want to be stuck in c++ clients forever putting trust in exchanges all our life do we?

Wink

they're still worth $500 and gox may as well be gone in the middle of a media shit storm, if they're 500 on the worst day... also many see it as a weak unstable party leaving the community, which makes it stronger and more stable

today is a good day.

Please mods, help me, please provide ip addresses . I can give my servers access for u. I'm unnecessarly dragged into this. A lesson is learned. I can give other proofs where I spent my 2 btc in what altcoins, and I sold all my altcoins bought doge at when 30 satohso around 4 million and lost interest in all other alt coins because of frequent scams and active in dogecoin.

I have done a taint analysis on the bitcoins you ordered, they are not linked in any way to the btc pot for visa coin.

I'm very tempted to believe you here Raj.

Please help the community out here and grab all log files from visacoin.info in to a zip for us to analyse, the odds are the scammers ip address will be in there, and traceable somehow online (didn't take long to find you!)

Best, and of course apologies for any stress involved.
199  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: VSC VisaCoin 100 BTC+ Scam [Identity] on: February 25, 2014, 09:46:12 PM
I think we just need the mods to confirm your account and visacoin account have not shared an ip address at any time, if one of them can do that.
200  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Unconfirmed Transactions after many hours? on: February 25, 2014, 09:27:53 PM
Next time add fee, so that you dont need to wait for confirmations.

I was receiver, I always add a decent fee myself Smiley
