On one hand, the overall sentiment is bearish with the importent levels of $7100 and $6800. This is almost a triangle pattern that implies the strong impulse afterwards. On the other hand, the price still consolidates. Thus, I cannot exclude longing from about $7100 lvl with short stop. You guyz?

Hey. I'm Mark. Shortly about myself: quit my major job to earn my way by trading and it exceeded my expectations. What I got from it that everything is possible, guys. Here will be the deals I make, some of the stuff to continue the learning curve and anything I found interesting to share with you. Disclaimer: None of this is financial advice, do your own research, share and earn. [ 12 years in trading, 4 years in crypto trading ] Here's one of them: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fi.postimg.cc%2F1tT6ksD0%2Fprice-action-0522.jpg&t=663&c=0RVoGIclp6hEgA) Each deal is a piece of art Follow me on Twitter to keep up with the latest trades, get price analysis and other trading hints: https://twitter.com/MarkRobTrades wow, how could you do that? Can you share more about your experience in trading? Actually I'm a new trader and everything for me is messy now. I am practicing trading and this has been going on for a month but I still have nothing but a confusing failure. So I want to ask, when you decided to give up your full time job, what did you do first to learn trading? Read lots of books or practice on demos a lot? I would love to hear your feedback. Thanks for reading my comment. Hello! Glad you eager to enhance professionally! Some sources to start trading with: Arthur A. Merrill: "Behavior of Prices on Wall Street", "Bear Market Characteristics". Toby Crabel: “Day Trading With Short Term Price Patterns and Open Range Breakout" Murphy, John J.: “Technical Analysis of the Futures Markets” - MUST Edwards and Magee Boston: "Technical Analysis of Stock Trends" Wilder, J. Welles.: “New Concepts in Technical Trading Systems” Dr. Elder.: “Trading for a living” Larry Williams: “Long-Term Secrets to Short-Term Trading” Also while trading make sure you comply with risk and money management. This is sometimes even MORE IMPORTANT than trading strategies. Be sure you can keep your earnings safe and multiply them. I often face the problem when talented traders because of it. As for the trade at the screenshot, it is Larry Williams price action strategy (there are several such patterns). Btw, I often use this strategy in my trades Talking about my experience and decision, I started from the traditional markets trading (already 12 years in it). Reading, demos of course. I have some friends in hedge funds, so they were sharing the experience. Forums, meetings, etc. Then I moved to crypto. 4 years already. Here I mastered the skills, specifically money management. Earned a lot on margin trading (the advice here is not to use risky leverages - I use 6-8 max) Good luck!

How many bitcoins do you get from every trade? My friend joins bitcoin trades and he earns a good one from it.
So it can be from 0,00..n BTC to a couple of BTC. Sometimes more Depends on leverage as well.

Mark_R, do you have a stop loss set for the other half of trade that is still active? Where do you think it would be wise to set it? I'm thinking $50 bellow your green line so at the moment this means $7460. We are very neat the green line right now so let's wait a few more hours and see if the trend line holds or breaks.
Hello mate! Yeah, I have a stop (actually, I do have it always). Approximately at the level you've told. But I closed the trade according to my time limit - too long fluctuations at the same range, do not see sense currently.

It seems to continue fluctuating inside it. I'm rather bearish , even regarding short-term bullish impulses. till the upper border breakout. Positive as you just analyze based on trendlines and some knowledge of support and resistance. But it seems that is still not enough for us to determine a good entry point, right? So, are you currently using any other indicators? I often see many super traders often use Fibonacci and RSI, MA, MACD. If your graphs have these indicators, we will be easier to identify the next trend of bitcoin in the short term, how do you feel? I'm not a fan of indicators, use all of them but they are not the major strategy part. Rather acting as confirmation. Sometimes they are creating mess. I often use a price action strategy (Larrry Williams - there are lots of tips that still working well on the market)

Bitcoin slowly and gradually has decreased its peak over the last few months and there is no doubt that the market is going through a downfall since then. We all know about the halving which will be taking place in May of 2020 and before that, the bitcoin value decreases and afterwards increases greatly. More interesting is the pattern in the fluctuations which is very interesting. And trader with this graph can make huge earnings. Yeap. A trader that knows the strategies and works with them can earn at any market basically

Opened a long trade at $7200 after the rebound from support line. Currently, already closed a half of the position ($7350). The next target is $7800, but in case of the price consolidation will close it today. Your actions currently and thoughts on this crazy market?

Have you ever realised that trading is very tempting? Fear and greed drive you all the time Many times overconfidence makes you rekkt When you can't accept being wrong about the market, this results in huge losses But if you manage to survive, keep on moving forward

I think one of the reason that make you different is "12 years in trading". I respect the decision of the OP but luring advertisements also try to attract the new traders with false promises. Nothing personal but the achievements of OP can be motivational for the novice traders and they can suddenly wake up with idea of quitting their daily job. The consequences are known for everyone and hope they will think twice before accepting such a dangerous decision. The answer is above. What I'm trying to show is that with the hard-working attitude and experience over time you are able to achieve a lot. Even if now you cannot imagine it

Your daily analysis is good for newbie traders and for occasional traders. I dont think quitting your job for trading is a good suggestion to give to anyone at this moment. The market is too volatile and alts are impossible to trade.
It states more for the fact that everything is possible. No way I motivate newbies to quit their jobs, my suggestion is to keep studying and moving forward

Even after 12 years in trading, it took lots of time and effort to quit the job.
