181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please recommend wallet on: May 10, 2017, 10:11:49 AM
I will recommend or suggest keep key hardware wallet because it is very easy to use and it also supports multi types of cryptocurrencies so you don't need to buy another hardware wallet for your altcoins because you can store them all in one hardware wallet. It is available on their site and they have a fair price for their products and it is worth it to buy.

Most of the wallets on the market today have the same function, so they support the same type of cryptocurrencies, without any changes. Also, I do not think you need to pay for a wallet, you can download any purse without spending any money. Perhaps, you have some misunderstanding about the use of bitcoins.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC dominance decreasing. on: May 10, 2017, 09:33:32 AM
A couple of months back (March), I remember seeing bitcoin dominance about 85% when It comes to the market capitalization. Its currently 59.2% and probably will continue to decrease in the next a few days. Is this something to be worried about?

Source: https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#btc-percentage
I don't think that there is something to worry about because it is normal for the bitcoin to have a decrease on its dominance in the market because its price is keep rising so the power of buying a lot of bitcoin has been decreased also, if you look back in the last few weeks or months the bitcoin is very cheap so the dominance is over rated and now it is going back to normal.

The bitcoin market spikes, it's too sudden for everyone, however, I do not see any impact that could make the bitcoin's value change so it makes me nervous. . Is the bitcoin market in particular and the crypto market in general being taken over? Is any power powerful enough to dominate the market?

184  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Foreign ICO Ambassador Needed on: May 09, 2017, 09:31:07 AM
Hi All

Wise Consulting Limited is releasing their ICO on the 30th of May 2017. The ICO system is already operational with the Digital Interchange Module(DIM) Coin ready and viable. Therefore, Wise Consulting is looking for consulting ambassadors from major countries around the world to join them on the ICO project. As this is crowd funding, the ambassadors will be paid at the end of Initial Coin Offering. Possible ambassadors can find more information by emailing us at ambassador@hybsemail.com.

A new project is in need of human resources, however, I do not see any information about your company. Is your company false? Or if it is real, let us know more information about it. We can not trust you if we do not have the correct information. Besides, what are the ambassadors' work?
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people use/hold bitcoin in 2016 on: May 08, 2017, 01:59:32 PM
Im interested to know how many people are actually now involved in the bitcoin world, Is there anyway to find out a rough idea of the user base so that we can come to a conclusion on what kind of adoption we are currently at? It seems difficult to gauge since this forum alone has several duplicate accounts from the same people.

. /r/bitcoin has 180k subs to it so would it be safe to assume if we included all miners, users holders and whoever else that we are still at under 1 million users? If this is the case then we still have a long way to go.

Does anyone have any more accurate guesses or way to determine the market?

No one knows the accurate numbers of people who hold bitcoin, all I know there's a thousand bitcoin holder in this industry.
And I don't know if there have the history record to trace the bitcoin holder through their bitcoin wallet addresses, is that possible to determine it?

No, no one stores information about people using bitcoin through their wallet address. Bitcoin is completely secure, owner, no one knows about the money they have. I'm sure of that. When it comes to the number of people using bitcoin, we can use surveys to get more information, but that's relative information, it is not exactly accurate.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of many reasons why I love bitcoin on: May 08, 2017, 01:18:37 PM
this is one of the many transactions that I received, this was from some small exchange that I was trading there for fun and to learn more about how to use API in my bot and I cashed out all my balance worth $7.48.

and this is my cold storage, which has been taking deposits ever since 2014 Cool:

Clearly, no one knows ahead of time, people do not think that bitcoins will reach high values, so most people leave bitcoin when its value is low. You are having a profit x7, however, I feel sorry for you, would be great if you owned many bitcoins at that time. I wish I knew bitcoin earlier, if I knew bitcoin sooner, I became rich. Storage bitcoin for the future is a great purpose.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: May 08, 2017, 12:56:43 PM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment

In fact, we find that bitcoin is convenient with fast transactions, however, it is only handy in international transactions and underground transactions. In our lives, the full use of bitcoin technology deals is a great deal of hassle, whereas cash makes it quick and easy to trade goods, especially we do not take any timeout for payments.
188  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][QAU] QUANTUM PROJECT - Connecting markets on: May 08, 2017, 12:40:36 PM
Yeah ico has been running for more than 1 week and in recent days, the project has attracted 114 investors, nearly $ 1 million and that number is increasing every day. This may be a sign of success in the future and I think they proved that this is not a scam, this is a potential project and attracts many investors. Maybe now there are still many people who do not believe in the project or doubt it but in the next time it will show us its potential and strength, hope everyone will trust and support the project
Yes that is really a good sign for this project that this help have a great future but hopefully this will not get scam the project really have a great potential and the campaign is also doing well.

I have always believed in this project, there is not anything to doubt our credibility. As a member of their campaign, I believe they are trying to promote the project in the best way, which is why I am here and involved in their campaign.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants these Bitcoin scaling wars to end? on: May 07, 2017, 01:10:43 PM
Bitcoin scaling drama is not a real problem yet for the network but I strongly think altcoins could help trying new solutions and compare which one is the best related to Bitcoin itself.
Maybe after test of time, some tech will arise from others and BTC can adopt those said techs to upgrade its "limits".

Altcoins can not do that. All altcoins are created for personal use, some people create it for profit, others want to create new products that replace old ones. Personal destination. So, altcoins can not help bitcoin. The bitcoin war constantly happens because of bitcoin freedom, and they want to master it, but they never reach their ambition.
Maybe you're right, the bitcoin fight happened because of the greed of some people. But the altcoin can support bitcoin, or at least, we can take advantage of the altcoins to earn more bitcoin. Actually, people do not really love altcoin, they look to altcoins to make a profit with bitcoin, which is a trader's job.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you convince people into you using Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2017, 12:41:41 PM

Convincing someone to know bitcoin even more isnt really an easy thing because some people are closed minded ones, they dont easily believe on some opportunities specially that involves on online because they do usually know about scam thats why it affects their trust but as long you do explain itt well to them specially on positive ones and regarding to its benefits then it might caught their attention.

i can understand that due to scam some people do not want to involve in some online opportunities but i think we should make them understand in such a way that they can trust on bitcoin and never take bitcoin in some negative means, and explain in such a way that they can understand all the positive benefits of bitcoin.

Just explain the benefits of bitcoin, it's a good idea, however, it still has a lot to offer. If we only explain the benefits, they will certainly doubt, in addition, full understanding is always needed for each person. Assuming they only see the benefits, and they invest too much in bitcoin and ignore the risks, they will probably lose a lot of money for their mistakes. So, show them both the benefits and disadvantages of bitcoin.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: ViaBTC: Should we active Segwit? on: May 07, 2017, 11:40:36 AM
If you support Segwit and want to see it activated soon (and have a Twtitter account obviously), then you should vote for it: https://twitter.com/ViaBTC/status/860933165002522625
If you have voted 'Yes' on the first poll, you should probably vote 'No' on this one (even though they aren't mutually exclusive as Segwit is essentially equal to bigger blocks): https://twitter.com/ViaBTC/status/860933065022898176

They are probably reconsidering after they've seen the effect on Segwit in other alts.

It's like a bitcoin war? No, It is a measure to support bitcoin development, some larger blocks will help the bitcoin transactions be confirmed more quickly. Bitcoin is being loved by people, it should be improved better. So, I support segwit, I take a vote for "yes" answer. I never thought that F2Pool chose segwit because they had seen the effect on Segwit in other alts. You surprised me.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Use Social Media for Bitcoin on: May 07, 2017, 11:32:54 AM
So recently I was using this app called Instagram (in case some of you never heard of it) and I posted some pictures & videos related to Bitcoin on my Instagram Stories (Like that day when the price goes insanely high and keep going til now). Then 2 days ago some of my friends suddenly asked me about what Bitcoin is & how could the price goes up like that. And I was surprisingly glad to know that I've influenced some people to get to know Bitcoin. And then I introduced them to Bitcoin and answer their questions about it, there were 3 people asking about Bitcoin that day just because of this 1 post.

I mean why don't we just use this power of social media to make people aware about this Cryptocurrency, well I know that there are already some people doing this (like those YouTube channels).
But what I'm talking about here is to us to post something about Bitcoin on our social media, you can just at least post something like your first transaction with Bitcoin and share your story on your Facebook or take the picture of your book that you just bought from the internet using your Bitcoin and then post it on your Twitter.

Don't be afraid to share your experience, you won't get hurt by doing it!(at least not now)

Yeah definitely but people really need to be making more youtube videos about bitcoin. Right now the sort of videos being made of bitcoin is all about making money off HYIPs which are ponzi schemes or laundering your money. And that's not good for bitcoin because it damages the already pretty tainted image of this cryptocurrency of ours.

We need more people demonstrating what bitcoin can really do to benefit our lives, instead of making money. For example if you look at what Ben Perrin is doing on his youtube channel BTC sessions, that's the sort of content we need. Also, share bitcoin on FB and Twitter, etc.
A bunch of videos on youtube are poorly handled especially the ones on the first results when you searched for it .  And yes you heard me you have to search for it first .  So the point of posting in a social media where there are general kind of people is not just for bitcoin enthusiast is for awareness because you can't search for something that you don't know .  If you're a youtuber I highly encourage you to advertise it .

Using social media is a necessity for the development of bitcoins and other coins, as a factor in developing virtual currency. Although little is known about bitcoin, however, most people are interested in watching each other, which is why social media campaigns are organized and do not require any rules. On followers, they do not oblige followers who are interested in bitcoin.

In fact, virtual money watchers are always more privileged by managers, they are more likely to engage in campaigns, even, I've seen a campaign that requires followers who must be people are interested in virtual currency. It's really hard for everyone, but that campaign still works well, and the quality of that campaign is the best.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: May 07, 2017, 02:37:44 AM
Bitcoin will die if there will be no demand in the market and there is no people using bitcoin because the only source of stability of bitcoin market is its demand so if the market will lack of demand then that will be the reason for bitcoin to die and suffer a huge loss on the market but there is no possibility for bitcoin to experience that because the market is very active now.
Today Watching as Bitcoin has risen more than 1500 dollars, I would like to hear those skeptics who negatively spoke about Bitcoin or even talked about his death. It seems to me that I did not shut my mouth when Bitcoin grows further.

I agree with you. There is no longer anything to argue when bitcoin is at its peak, this is the record bitcoin price since its inception. Although it has been a long-lived currency, it has had the same development as its predecessors. One step leaping. Just through my sleep, when I wake up and look at the price of bitcoin. It was my surprise, really surprised, I could not believe myself anymore. Bitcoin is really too strong.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to make governments accept bitcoin? on: May 06, 2017, 12:33:06 PM
The government is not in a hurry to take bitcoin, because it has an unstable price and everyone is afraid that at any moment the bubble may burst. It is more effectively considered as an additional opportunity for earning.

It is not just about the unstable price or the volatility of bitcoin but rather it is about the control. Bitcoin is decentralized and is also something new and using it possibly has some huge consequences. The governments would rather conduct some study first before they would accept such kind of currency. If the government find some merits on it they will make some move to place it on their system and so a good example is Japan.

Price is not stable and fluctuation is not the reason. The government can easily overcome that easily. At first, bitcoin appeared secret, it was a really free currency, we could call it "outlaws." However, due to its long-term and stable operation, it has gained more attention, but it is still a hard-to-manage currency, and governments are not really ready to do so. Moreover, the forces that oppose the government are the real ones behind and promote the development of bitcoin. That is the difficulty with them.
195  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mempool ATH - 140K unconfirmed transactions on: May 06, 2017, 12:18:12 PM
This is cores vision. A full block chain settlement layer with high fees.
There is no such thing as "Cores vision". There is only a minor scaling plan ever issued on the website. Please stop spreading fake propaganda.

We should demonise the miners as Lauda propagandises. Hopefully the revolting miners will become truly revolting as a result.
We should. I highly suspect that some are either paid by certain entities to stall or they are just reaping the monetary gain of the high fees (which will reduce (at least temporarily) with a capacity increase).

With a bitcoin at the present time, we really need a measure which was talking about by you, I do not need to reiterate about it. People have been saying that bitcoin needs to change, BU, segwit, ... there are a lot of suggestions out there, however, I think they are not really necessary. That is why people always refuse. I hope your remedy can solve the problem.
196  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else HAVE most or maybe ALL of their money in btc/crypto? on: May 06, 2017, 12:09:35 PM

for those who all in with buying bitcoin they are certainly happy with the current price because finally it was reach the highest price on the history but unfortunately i wasn't part of them because i personally not dare to go all in and the volatile always be the main cause for me

yes you are right that it will be good for those who have all the money in bitcoin because of the high price of bitcoin, but i think it is much risky to keep all the money in bitcoin as at this time the price is very high and more profitable but if the price of bitcoin decrease to great extend then i think their all money will be gone. So in my opinion we have to keep half money in bitcoin or crypto and half in fiat.

I can not understand any reason that can make the value of bitcoin suddenly increase dramatically in a short time. It made me so surprised. No event of great magnitude can make the value of bitcoin change fast. It makes me feel confused, and meanwhile, why are people still buying bitcoin continuously while its value is too high, I really do not understand.
197  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Spam attack solution? on: May 06, 2017, 12:01:59 PM
I believe that the unconfirmed transaction number reached all time high as I never seen it like this before. (100,000+)
Is it theoretically possible to create a solution for the current spam attacks that we are facing? (assuming that we already have SegWit, bigger blocks, etc.). I believe that people could always do this spam attacks, even though It costs money, someone who have something against bitcoin will definitely pay for the "cause".
Although it is an irreversible existence of bitcoin at the present time. However, in part, it provides a good market. It is absolutely beneficial at the present time. As bitcoins began to increase, people were prepared to sell a lot of bitcoin, however, when the transaction was not confirmed, it still crashes, a number too large, which makes the market stable. And bitcoin is affected by any. So, in part, it's still beneficial.
198  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Lending bitcoins on: May 05, 2017, 02:57:12 PM
Does anyone know a site where I can lend bitcoins? I prefer not a long lending time. I know bitbond but maybe there are better ones, and is it completely safe?
Lmk Cheesy

Nik

It's easy, you can borrow it right at this forum. Maybe you should learn more about this place. However, in order to borrow some money, you need collateral, or you have a tremendous trust in the forum, however, here mortgages are a prerequisite to You can borrow BTC here. Also, I do not know about any other reputable lending website.
199  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟2017's Best Bitcoin Gambling Site Award!🌟 on: May 05, 2017, 02:22:13 PM
Coinbet24 and nitrogensports is best bitcoin betting site.

I agree nitrogensports is one of the best casinos, however, coinbet24 does not have a good impression on me. I personally always enjoy the big casinos that organize the signature campaigns. Because then, we can be assured, they are reputable, the big casinos always give us a sense of security and fairness. It is not too difficult to make a profit from them, but it is not easy, there are always bad luck for everyone.
200  Economy / Gambling / Re: KINGDICE.COM - Bitcoin Dice & Invest in bankroll on: May 05, 2017, 01:44:15 PM
Adding more games is a good way to attract more players because dice is the most boring game. Where there are some other games then it is usefull for players to kill the boredom. They can switch to other games when they feel boring for dice. Nowadays it is very common for a dice site to add more games, e.g bitsler, bitdice, crypto-games.
Without a doubt, more games = more players = more wager.

But i believe that on bitsler, people are more concern about their dice rather than other games, because mostly people will play and earn everything from their dice not from other games like multicolor or anything like that. And actually it depends on the site itself but most of the sites will want to get more players on their sites so by adding more games it will be more players. And they really need to make the attractive one to make people want to try their new games.

Yes we are mostly focused on dice, but soon we may reconsider Wink

If you guys are focused on dice game then you should make good promotion to make sure people come here and keep on wagering on your dice. Moreover dice game need some fast rolls, if you just can maintain it well, or may be increasing the betting speed, may be people will consider not to get out from here. So you do not even need to make new game just to attract them

Focusing on dice is a good idea, however, I suppose a multi-purpose casino will attract more players. In fact, if they only focus on the dice, they will miss the players in other games. But if they are a multi-purpose casino, many players will come. In addition, optimizing a dice is a good deal, it should be done even if they are a versatile casino, they do not need the focus.
