181  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1423GH] ABCPool PPS - Proxy Pool For High & Steady Mining Rewards on: September 15, 2012, 08:01:10 AM
I manage 6 accounts and in one day I should receive ~ 100 BTC in total. On 9th September I received only ~ 16, and about 84 BTC are still missing. It's not the _exact_ count, I don't have a database of the shares, but the correct numbers should be close to these. It would be nice to know when the balance will be fixed.

Thank you.

Hi pyramining,

Our apologies for the missing shares. The coming days we will restore our backup and credit the missing shares.

Chlorine.

I still have not received all of my shares either.

I never got my shares from the last time they had issues i removed all my miners and removed it from list of pools i use.

189  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [2100 GH] BTC Guild - Pure PPS Merged Mining, Port 80 Mining, No Invalid Blocks on: August 25, 2012, 04:26:41 AM

Thats cool yea i got the new dns also i just recently switched full time to btcguild i get better payputs here then abc even tho they pay higher per share but btcguild my hash stays higher and peaks much higher then it ever did at abc and you guys dont charge anything to cashout like they do.

I'm an ABC miner that just recently switched full time to BTC Guild as well. So far, I like BTC Guild better and my miners aren't dealing with connection issues/work distribution issues I was having over at ABC. I'll 2nd that my hash rate is reported higher and peaks higher here compared to ABC as well. It also read higher over at EMC while I was there for a short stint.

My Accepted (%) is crazy good also (99.95%) for btc and (99.30%) for namecoin lol dont think it could get much better for btc not worried about namecoin they arent worth much lol takes like 555 coins to make 1 btc would take me a entire year at their current prices to make it lol.

I would echo the thanks for looking out for your miners.  I moved my 1Gh/s on to the new url...a bit surprised that this modest hashrate puts me in the "above average" crowd.

I would certainly help test the new proxy/code when it is ready.  Again; thank you.

There is a bit of a manual selection involved in flagging miners for the private DNS.  It's based on a few factors, the first of which was pure hash speed.  Since then, more factors like account age, online time, and efficiency have been used to extend the private DNS to a larger number of miners.

191  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS]Cheap Windows 7&8 key from MSDN on: August 22, 2012, 06:57:53 PM
If you sell too many of them, they may get blocked. Selling MSDN keys or using them outside of a development environment at the company for which they were purchased is against the MSDN ToS.

Quote from: MSDN Website
MSDN subscriptions are licensed on a per-user basis.  One person can use the software to design, develop, test, or demonstrate his or her programs on any number of devices.  Each person who uses the software this way needs a license.

MSDN subscriptions are only offered per individual, there are no “team” subscriptions or sharing of subscription benefits.  You should select the right MSDN Subscription for each person on your software development team based on the software that person needs to use and the support benefits required. Remember that team members who install the software (such as IT Professionals who install software for a test lab) will also need an MSDN subscription.

Many MSDN subscribers use a computer for mixed use—both design, development, testing, and demonstration of your programs (the use allowed under the MSDN subscription license) and some other use.  Using the software in any other way, such as for doing email, playing games, or editing a document is another use and is not covered by the MSDN subscription license. When this happens, the underlying operating system must also be licensed normally by purchasing a regular copy of Windows such as the one that came with a new OEM PC.

Yep iv seen sites sell them cheap then every key gets disabled in a month or 2 when they get caught beware buying these keys.
192  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Why don't more pools offer Anonymous mining by address? on: August 20, 2012, 05:26:37 PM
If you want to be anonymous on a pool that uses usernames, just pick a name people won't recognize as you.

Same thing on a pool that uses a bitcoin address instead of a username. To be anonymous you have to use an address people don't recognize as yours.

What's the big advantage of using a BTC address as username?

No one could hack your acount and steal your coins but alot of pools let you lock your btc address now days so thats not really a threat as it used to be.
193  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Current PPS Rates on pools on: August 20, 2012, 06:49:25 AM
abcpool also charges you .010 instead of .005 if you cash out below .20.
194  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Current PPS Rates on pools on: August 20, 2012, 02:11:40 AM
nice info one thing btcguild only needs .10 to withdraw namecoin its only 1 if you want it to do it auto and from what i can tell they pay transaction fees some of others on your list dont.
195  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1423GH] ABCPool PPS - Proxy Pool For High & Steady Mining Rewards on: August 17, 2012, 07:57:55 PM
whats the eta on fixing the shares not being paid out ?
196  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [1423GH] ABCPool PPS - Proxy Pool For High & Steady Mining Rewards on: August 17, 2012, 11:04:40 AM
a significant drop in resource usage.
Well, that's great for y'all. But I'm seeing hundreds of getwork request failures today whereas I usually see a handful per day at other pools. And my average/effective hashrate as reported by cgminer is gradually falling.

"You may want to return your miners to ABCPool."

Perhaps. As for me, as soon as I hit the 0.2 BTC point I'll be pointing my MH/s to a pool which can handle the load.

my invalids went up a whole % and just seemed like i waset making coins as fast so i switched for now on btcguild coins building up faster even at a lower pps pay rate.

199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitparking Litecoin Exchange on: August 17, 2012, 03:08:17 AM
Is withdrawns instant or only done so many times a day i been waiting a hr and got nothing so far and i approved the withdrawn of bitcoins and gave a valid address.  Nothing shows up in my history also under withdraws.
