181  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlutterCoin FLT Proof Of Transaction Cash Back for Sending & Recieving on: June 13, 2014, 09:09:44 PM
if you have some suggestions for the android wallet just tweet @thekidcoin.

i think the android wallet is an awesome feature!!!

Online wallet is a genius move in my opinion. Security has to be REALLY profound on this one, though. Google Authenticator maybe? No OpenSSL bugs?
182  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FlutterCoin FLT Proof Of Transaction Cash Back for Sending & Recieving on: June 13, 2014, 05:57:47 PM

yeah it is nice. although far from perfect.

i would really like to have a way to communicate with the developer of the wallet to tell him what needs to be fixed. anyone knows how to contact him or them?

I don't like it if pow is abandoned. I really don't see the advantages of this. The fact that it can be mined if necessary is quite nice. Without pow it's just another pos coin. Pot isn't really that important at the moment I think.

The coin is doing okay, it has tons of merchants, a great name and people are working hard on it, if only all this shit talk stops it will start slowly to rise.
So please use your brains, dont read and believe everything random guys are writing !

what is the biggest merchant accepting mintcoin in your opinion?

who is working on the development of the coin (except for paspi and david of course)?

any information at all on any upcoming projects?

that's the main point for me. been trying hard to find sth but there is literally no information nor development. dev is busy doing other things.

David you are awesome too. Thanks for not giving up!

Paspi you're the man. I agree with your every word. Thanks for working on the Android wallet. It's a shame most developers and investors get scared of by the falling prices and a grumpy developer, well we'll have to wait and see. In crypto everything is possible
187  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [NEM] NEMstake tokens are listed on Nxt asset exchange on: June 10, 2014, 05:32:44 PM
guys is there any site where i can see how much 1 NEM stake is worth in NXT without having to access the AE? It's a pain in the a$$ to enter it every time just to check the price. any chart, site or anything?Huh

This is what you are looking for:

there are a lot of tweaks the dev making for the PoT. So I think it just takes time. And I ain't that concerned with the price. People selling coins below the price which they bought them for are strange to me. Just chill and wait for all the amazing developments the dev team is working on.

Dev team = u'r awesome!

At the moment I am a freelance developer with experience coding for peercoin clones. I would be interested in helping revive the community and wallet here, but what exactly is everyone hoping to have done?  From an outsiders perspective it looks like a hard fork might be needed to slow inflation... but not sure what the actual stake holders think. What other work would need to be done to the wallet?

If I were to help with a few wallet related things, I would have to have absolute integrity from mintcoin. I just exited a coin because of shady operations in the background that I was not comfortable with and did not want my name attached to. I would hope that mintcoin has a high level of integrity.

glad to see you maybe interested. the inflation is the way it supposed to be.

what do you think? is a secure online wallet possible for this coin? with the possibility to mint? Online PoS wallet? This would really bring the coin forward!

wow amazing post, David!

Come on, Mr. Developer! Give us a proper statement! Deleting stuff coz u'r scared ain't that grown up is it?!

Transparency is key for success! if you want your coins (premine or whatever) to become more valuable you need to tell us the truth. 10 Minutes to write a statement are possible even if you're busy. Otherwise no one will invest more money in this coin and just move on to other coins with an active development team.

i say if there are no information on premine till end of june I drop my mints. I suggest other people do the same. Ain't no FUD. Just that i'm sick of this. Angry

Hi guys...My wallet is not staking. Last time was on the 4th.
Anybody having the same issue?
Thanks!
your coins aren't mature... turn on coin control view and check the ages

how do i turn coin control on? how many confirmations are needed for coins to stake?

In the options menu, display, enable coin control, you can check the date, it's 30 days for coins to be ready for stake.  I'm not sure the exact confirmations needed.

how long does it take for a confirmation? how many minutes?

guys i have about 1000 FLT with 30334 confirmations in my wallet. haven't seen any PoS. I encrypted and unlocked it. Still not staking because no mature coins. Pleaaase any advice? How many confirmations are needed? i'm waiting over 30 days!

and could anyone confirm that PoS is active in the online wallet? if so i just put my coins there. thx

Strange, my POS has been working for like 2 months now. Haven't tried the online wallet myself but I think if you sent the coins there, you will have to wait another 30 days. How much POS would you get from 1000 coins? Can't be that much huh?

yeah i have the newest mac wallet. and i want my PoS, no matter how little it is Cheesy i have a little blackcoin and it works very well. so any tricks to solve the problem?

Ah ok, I don't use the mac wallet. Maybe Kidcoin can chime in or some other people using the mac wallet?

i don't think anyone except for me is using a mac wallet Cheesy

I use the Mac wallet and Staking works like a Charm .. in fact my wallet is staking like a champ right now Smiley

Edit: I am using v0.4.5.7-ga-beta (that's what it says under About FlutterCoin) .. if that helps

yeah, i have the same. totally strange Sad keep hoping for an staking android wallet. flutter and my mac don't like each other.

High award makes Low price? Low award makes High price?

Are you talking about the PoS rate at 20% in the first year compared with 5% in the 4th and subsequent years?

Anyway, I am waiting on the big news from the dev regarding Mintcoin. If it is some epic marketing strategy that could get institutional investors in, that could be big news for Mintcoin. If we could get Mintcoin up to $0.01 or even $0.001, I would be really happy.

If Mintcoin added anonymity and a hidden message system, do you think this will help or is it just too gimmicky? I would really love to see more investors go in with Mintcoin and push the price upwards and onwards.

i would really appreciate mintcoin wallets being anonymous. let it be the online switzerland. they have been making zillions chf just by keeping the accounts safe and anonymous. and mintcoin gives a better interest rate. NSA knows how much money you have in your account so maybe it would be nice if mintcoin worked against it.

I did indeed pledge 1 million MINT for a working windows wallet earlier, for now though, it seems it would be better to contribute to the online wallet initiative. I'll give 1 million MINT for that, so long these conditions are met:

1. The online wallet supports 2FA i.e. Google Authenticator
2. There is a clear link to an exchange (such as Vault of Satoshi) with clear instructions on how to purchase Mintcoin and send it to your 'account'

So in other words, the main page of the online 'Mintbank' provides some basic information on the coin and steps for getting started.

I do pledge 300k also.

Additional requirements :

The site running it shall be secured from being mtgoxed. It would be best if there were audits like the one Kraken made that all the deposits are actually there. On the monthly basis.

Here you go. Now let's find someone to do it.

MintBank
Code:
MbXABW7Vx6NJd5bMUiGs1RxAeaw7DzsPXB

I'll send the mint to your escrow when someone agrees to do it, and the developers give some hints that they are still active on this coin, as others have mentioned just cleaning up the OP would be a start.

maybe we should just stop waiting for the devs to do something. i think they want the community to make stuff on their own. it's fine by me. i won't whine about it. i suggest everyone does the same

@all: what do you think the mintcoin online wallet/bank should feature to be successful?
