Cryptocurrency investment app Abra’s CEO forecast that “all hell will break loose” in Bitcoin and altcoin markets this year in a fresh mainstream media interview March 28.

Speaking to Business Insider two weeks after the startup announced it had raised $40mln in new funding since October, CEO Bill Barhydt said western institutional money would begin to “dip its toes” into crypto assets in 2018.

In doing so, Barhydt continues a popular narrative that institutional investors ‘waiting’ for an opportune moment will transform Bitcoin and major altcoin price performance.

According to recent news media reports, US students and employees tend to deal with cryptocurrencies more often: college students use loan money to invest in digital currencies, while crypto industry workers get paid in cryptocurrency.

According to a survey conducted between March 16-20 by the Student Loan Report, 21.2 percent of college students have used loan money to fund cryptocurrency investment. The students were attempting to take advantage of upward price volatility in Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH) to pay off their debts faster.

This week Google made known about two separate Blockchain projects it is working on: a “tamper-proof” auditing system and a cloud operations platform.

According to a patent originally filed in September 2017, plans are underway to create a so-called “tamper-evident” ledger on the basis of Blockchain.

At the same time, Google’s Alphabet Inc. conglomerate is looking to utilize the technology to create a transparent audit review platform, Bloomberg reported March 21 citing anonymous sources at the company.

Edward Snowden, who became notorious for exposing the U.S. National Security Agency's (NSA) massive surveillance agenda in 2013, has said bitcoin's central flaw may not lie in its transaction rate limitations, but in its public ledger.

Speaking to the audience via webcam at a Blockstack event in Berlin early March, Snowden for the first time gave the audience his detailed views on the emerging technology. While agreeing that bitcoin will endure for a long period of time, Snowden argued that he does not believe "bitcoin will last forever."

"Everybody is focused on the transaction rate limitations of bitcoin being its central flaw, and that is a major one," he said, adding that, actually, "the much larger structural flaw, the long-lasting flaw, is its public ledger."

Bitcoin's (BTC) three-day winning streak is encouraging for the bulls, but only a quick move above $10,500 would negate the risks of the so-called "death cross."

Having bottomed out at $7,335 on Sunday, prices on CoinDesk's Bitcoin Price Index (BPI) rose to $9,127 today - the highest level since March 14. As of writing, the BPI is seen at $9,074. The retreat from the intraday highs could be associated with the signs of bearish relative strength index divergence seen on the hourly chart.

The 22.7 percent recovery from $7,335 suggests the bulls have regained control, at least for the time being. However, the cryptocurrency is not out of the woods yet, the long duration technical studies indicate.

Yes in investing you just invested you money on long term time period and just hodler and wait wait wait and after you a still wait wait and wait untill price goes high to make you good profit .
Trading very riskly and need a lot of expirience to work with that , but you could make money faster .

I sold all my Cryptos when bitcoin was about 17k after i reinvested at 15k and sold some at 14-13k alts when its rising some from ICO , for now i sold all my ETH investment at 720$ point and dont wanna go  inside back in nearest time.

At the hearing, the Subcommittee discussed ICOs and cryptocurrency, the potential benefits for the economy, provision of legal support to its investors, and the development of a regulatory approach applied by the appropriate US regulatory bodies.

P2P payments technology company Circle announced that they rolled out the latest addition to its “family” — the cryptocurrency investment app Circle Invest — to most of the US on Tuesday, March 13.

In a blog post and email sent to customers, Circle, which is one of a handful of businesses to have received a New York BitLicense, confirmed its crypto investment platform would be available in “early access” form to US citizens in 46 states.

Minnesota, Wyoming and Hawaii remain excluded due to regulatory red tape, while New York will gain access “very soon”, the company said.

The unveiling follows a limited test phase for Circle Invest, which offers notionally commission-free trading of Bitcoin and several altcoins while altering buy and sell prices up to 2% in order to generate revenue.

Circle has sought to make fresh inroads into cryptocurrency this year. In February, news broke that the company had acquired major exchange Poloniex in a $400 mln deal backed by IDG Capital.

“We’re eager to hear feedback on this early access version of Invest from everyone — from newcomers and from crypto experts alike,” Circle describes the new Invest app.

The product forms one of a suite of products Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire referred to as its “family” Feb. 27, a day after the Poloniex deal – together with wholesale over-the-counter trading platform CircleTrade and payments app Circle Pay.
