If you guys read the rules of the redemption you would have all these answers. Too late to say 1 per person, it literally asks you how many sets you want to submit, so they are expecting people to have multiples. Plus why not reward your biggest supporters?
Submit the form and you get a confirmation email. After they verify your spot in line (one of the 62) you will be told to ship the cards in. Anyone who is after the initial 62 will be put on a wait list. In case someone who does hodl one of the first spots fails to send their sets in or maybe doesn’t send a complete set.
If anyone has an extra 1A or 7 card - those are the only ones I still need to complete a 3rd set so let’s make a deal (shameless plea). Will probably be cheaper to buy these after the redemption slots are full. And yes, I submitted for both my sets and will work to finish another for my collection. Cardsmiths brought new life to the hunt for me.
I can't argue with this but was trying to be diplomatic. The redemption form seems to allow you to enter double digits I believe Coinage was referring to the next redemption program, if there is one. Which i totally get if your still racing to complete a first set before all the diamonds are gone. I have to imagine there getting pretty close to being sold out. I assume most of us sent in 2-4. That means only 15-25 people get diamonds. Regarding the diamonds im excited to see them. Just looking at the pictures it looks like these dont have a border like the other refractors do. If so thats the only thing i wish was different. Super pumped on a 1/1. I was referring to the current redemption program, I know the rules have already been released and that’s how it’s going to be, with some users being able to redeem multiple sets if selected. I guess I was just expressing my opinion that I would prefer to see 62 (or 73 if the MR cards were added) the chance to redeem for a 1/1 diamond. None of us knew what the base set redemption rules were going to be before being announced so there was no time for feedback and input beforehand. 62 individual redemptions should be rewarded before anyone receives 2 or more diamond redemption cards. It would be better for the community and would make more collectors happhy
Its to late for that. Maybe a suggestion for the redemption program. Sorry that is what i was referring to, the 62 diamond cards on offer, i would like if they limited to 1 slot per person, at least until full Just think. If you DON'T redeem you have a very rare set. Some buy a case with no 1A. So if there is subsequent redemption, any set holders will be sitting pretty There is probably a few people out there with multiple sets, i would prefer that everyone who wants to redeem a set gets a chance (up to 62 individuals) |

Great discussion! Certainly, we did our best to try and eliminate errors and printing QC, but you'll never get a perfect run. Even Panini struggles with centering and frayed edges on their Prizms and refractors. The thicker materials make it harder for the machines to cut cleanly. So it's a bit of a trade off. Thicker materials or easy to cut sheets.
Regarding the /159 Beryl. We generally have to remake certain refractor sheets several times due to all of the various challenges with combing the various materials. On top of that, the Cardsmiths "C" logo foil-stamping is done at another vendor, so if they came back with a problem, we had to reprint and resend the sheets back to them for stamping.
In the end, the /159 likely came from a late sheet that was remade at least once. When the person went to apply the numbers on that late sheet, they apparently set the /XXX for the wrong value. The first number, which is certainly most critical, were correct and never duplicated.
Thank you for the information, very helpful. Between here and eBay there is quite a few collectors of this product, and I am sure some others we don’t know about, still it is odd many of the holofoil MR cards have not been seen yet. Can Cardsmiths guarantee that all MR cards were released in HF? I only ask this due to the CS meta-rare mix up |

1A is worth an easy $50 alone Both the #1A and #7 cards are worth an easy $50 going by eBay sales, most I have seen lately are advertised for $65 and selling quick. Some people paying above that just to complete a set. |

Although the Cardsmiths Currency series has nicer quality cards overall, I believe the BTC Trading Cards company is going to "out market" the Cardsmiths and become the King of Bitcoin cards.
BTC Trading Cards have some huge things in the works and they will be the number 1 Bitcoin cards makers in the near future in my opinion. Their series 2 is going to be released at the 2023 Bitcoin conference and I imagine the quality will be ever better.
Marketing is very important IMO and the founder of the BTC Trading Card company knows this
If you didn't buy a box of the Series 1 BTC Trading Cards "Orange Pill in a Pack" I think you slept on an amazing steal while not many people know they even exist
You can out market all you want, but without the chance of redemptions- cardsmiths destroys those gimmicky pill in a pack cards Agreed, a crypto card product needs cryptocurrency redemptions cards, I think Cardsmiths have placed these cards perfectly too (1 per case) The total run is quite small too (2152 cases if I remember correctly) I checked out the Orange Pill cards and thought a lot about placing an order but decided it would be better just to buy more Cardsmiths boxes I admit there does seem to be lots of different “error” cards with this 1st series of currency cards, things like centring issues, same cards with a different color shade, etc. Some of the errors will make cards worth more, others less. Let’s hope these sell out soon and we see a series 2 released later this year |

Regarding Mr. Stacey's card #45 Beryl 159 error. I have spoken to another collector who owns a #45 beryll and his has the correct 149 on it. SOOOO this proves that not all 149 cards have the error. Still dont know if its the lone error card. But this is by far the best error card Ive seen. Great card.
Hoping this week brings the base card redemption program. Super excited about this. What will it be? Some new super rare card?

Heard about a card burn from a collector on ebay. Found this thread after some google searches and decided to join the fun. Been in the hobby for awhile but I like Bitcoin also. This set is cool. Will probably see yall in the the trade section also. My ebay is the same as this one. Thanks to anyone who has dealt with me. Has anyone got any cards graded by Beckett or tried? They wouldnt grade one of my cards about 2 months ago stating it was unlicensed. I didnt ask Beckett any questions but maybe they were not familiar with this set since Cardsmiths is a new company. I did send an email to Cardsmiths concerning the matter but did not hear back. Cheers

Welcome and thank you for the info I was going to try HGA grading. They seem more chill. Plus they do custom slabs to match card. Will make those serial number Refractor types shine. But... psa is still king. You lose value not going with psa so hga for personal collection. I like Beckett mostly because they put a sleeve on the card. Would like to know if anyone got any cards graded by PSA succesfully. Custom slabs sound cool. Will do some research on those other companies. Thanks for the feedback. I'm starting to wonder if card #1 is more rare, in the crystal sparkle set. I have four #1 holos that were mistakenly (?) sold to me as CS cards. I'm too afraid to buy any on eBay without a pic of the specific card being sold, now... And there are no #1 CS card listings with pic, at all... If anyone has #1 CS, I'm willing to do a trade or buy for bitcoin at a reasonable price. Cheers~
Your hunch is spot on. I open a case or 2 and no 1 or 1a cs ( unless I got confused and sold it inadvertently). In 2 cases I got zero 9s of any flavor so cardsmiths need a better card shuffling system. In same session got 5 or 6 1a base. Until I see a pic 1 and 1a cs are dead to me lol.
