the DeepOnion project has really done a great job since the beginning of the project last year to this year towards its ending period, the dev team and community supporters has been very dedicated to the development and support of this project, one of the most longest and active thread in bitcointalk forum, am still very sad for not been part of this project from the initial  the beginning of great things in DO project  Congratulations to all in this project  thank you for your kind words about the deeponion project, it is always a good thing ear something good from people not directly involved in the project (i suppose you are not because you are not wearing sig but you could very well be an investor :-) ) |

A quick tip for all those updating to 1.6.3.
I have seen a few users post about how they now have to redownload the entire chain and it takes ~3 hours every update..
If you are having to redownload the entire chain every update, your not updating properly and making it a lot harder on yourself!!!
When you update your wallets... ALWAYS back up your wallet.dat file, back up your private keys...(they dont change, unless you add new addresses. There will be one for each address. but always have that down because wallet.dat files can become corrupted), verify new QT wallet through DeepVault, then close your current QT wallet version.
Replace your Old DeepOnion folder where ever it is in C:\Documents etc with the contents of the NEWLY downloaded folder, or just replace the DeepOnionQT.exe it self into your old DeepOnion folder ((NOT THE APPDATA FOLDER, where your exe is stored))
Open the NEW DeepOnionQT.exe file
and BOOM! your good to go.

You shouldn't be deleting all of your APPDATA folder everytime, ESPECIALLY your wallet.dat lol.
If you do that everytime you update, you will have to redownload the entire chain from scratch... where its really as simple as a quick back up, and a close/open of new version... easy-peezy.
Dont make it harder on yourself!!
Also again please dont always forget to back up your wallet.dat files.
I tend to back up mine almost every week at least. There are times where you may get a conflicted transaction and the only way to fix it is to revert to an older wallet.dat. Its happened plenty of times to me. You can NEVER have too many backups, in too many places of all your secure data!
exactly what i was used to do: wipe out everything in appdata folder (obviously after a proper backup) :-) no need to be so hard, just do what quoted above and you are fine |

That would mean that if all hard work leads to success. people will call the project Lucky. but having luck is good, who don't like it? :-) that doesn't mean there isn't skill or strategy and so on, consider it on the opposite: even good projects managed by talented people could fail for lack of luck |

You won't be a Sr.Member as you don't have enough merit to be promoted to new rank. Plus it doesn’t make any difference in the airdrop... i think that candymimi007 was talking only about a goal, something to remember with please, not about any privilege or gain (in term of received onions) due to the new forum ranking |

nothing prevent you to weat signature even after airdrop end, maybe it will be required for partecipating in sunday distributions because that are not going to stop on 20th april |

*raises hand* mee too, but i think there are a lot that qualify for founder status, do not have the exact stats but i can easily bet we are around 50% of total airdroppers So you're saying there will be 400 founder members more or less? I believe that there will be about 200. i was guestimating, let me check some stats so i can be more precise, my general reason is that prolly there are more founders then someone can expect, but again, i have no data to support yet |

So deeponion airdrops are over. Get ready for the dump!
there are still 3 airdrops left ! it is not yet over my friend and its pretty dumb to dump an very undervalued coin. so many new features are just around the corner. and 3 airdrops means that if you have say 100 onions you will end with 112 onions after completion, a nice 12,3% return roughly calculated (considering also that last airdrop will be of 1,2 the previous and amount recevied is 3,7% circa weekly of total holdings in wallet, not bad ofr only 3 weeks :-) |
