I have a nice red suit on order for the celebrations and look forward to both my impending promotion to Master, and the outcome of the architecture competition. Yours, Quentin Moon

Sorry if this has been covered, but can we have a summary of the features/changes coming in v 0.8.8.5?
I understand per-kb fees are coming. Anything else on the feature side?
Cheers, Q

Who care if those instamined coins was sold or not ? Instamine is still instamine.
What's worse is Evan's stubborness to insist on maintaining the Masternode concept even though it is severely flawed in nature and many better options have been presented to him by other developers. To me the whole Masternode concept is a ploy to further enrich large Dark holders by getting paid more Dark to cycle coins. Fair enough. Bitcoin was severly flawed until it became stable. Darkcoin was flawed and its now stable. When new upcoming features arrive, I expect DRK to undergo unstableness, until (at the speed of light) Evan fixes it making it stable again. I clearly see you no clue what the Masternode concept really is all about. Masternodes do not get payed to cycles coins. They're payed as Proof of Service, much in the same line as Proof of Stake. What service(s) do Masternodes provide other than cycling/mixing coins?

I am new to Ripple discussions so can someone answer these two quick questions please:
1) Why would banks like Ripple/XRP? 2) Why would banks liking it be a good thing?

dewdeded, that doesn't look good, but don't legitimate miner programs like minerd.exe routinely get flagged as malware because of botnets?
Yes they do and from the screen shots it looks like this wallet does indeed have a mining function. So the possibility of the virus scan being a false positive is there. Still, either way it is not smart to use binaries from unknown sources. Quite. Anyway, I thought I should flag it up for competent folk to check it out. I didn't for a moment mean to suggest the unwary should just start running it.

This should be checked for malware/misbehaviour first by some people (minimal) familar with malware analysis. Could contain an malware droper or wallet stealer. I agree. Safety first.

Architect competition for 1-C-A4 (see rules earlier in the thread) design submission period ends in 24 hours.
Looking forward to seeing the creative entries. Quentin Moon

I hope you guys understand why everything takes the time it takes, but our makefiles alone was more work than lets say, the whole Litecoin project....
Indeed. Thanks to all the team. Great stuff, with much more on the way it seems. :-)

I have a query about building remodeling costs.
I have a couple of plans to extend my L7 house to a baronial L9 mansion (still single-floor, all low arch) via movement and addition of various elements and an increase in the luxury level from 30 to 60. I was wondering how to calculate the cost. Would something like the following be reasonable? I am assuming that stone and imports are not lost in the remodeling, so:
extra stone = new building stone - old building stone extra imports = new building imports - old building imports
There would however presumably need to be some additional cost for Labor. e.g. extra labor = (new building labor - old building labor)*1.25
with the 1.25 multiplier being dependent on the degree of modification.
Yours, Quentin Moon

I dont think putting down other legitimate coin projects is a smart thing to do. Both Darkcoin and Monero are fully open source and honest efforts. I support DRK for many reasons, the lower emission curve and the incentive to hold through masternodes make it at least in the mid term a safer investment. Monero is at the moment a highly inflationary coin, although a solution to that may be found in the future. Darkcoin is a deflationary coin with a low block reward that is reduced by 7% each year. [snip]
Monetary inflation/deflation is an increase/decrease in the money supply. Is the number of Darkcoins decreasing?

Vote for it please! We shouldn't underestimate these. This is nothing else than a possible beginning of economy, a real use, directly building network effect. Voted.

price going falling down -_-
Is someone dumping? almost 300 BTC dump in last 12 hours Same whale? Or different people? With an anonymous coin, it's pretty much impossible to tell. Also, it wasn't a 300 BTC dump; 300 BTC were traded on Polo, and only some of that could be called dumping.

Mega DUMP Why does this make you happy? because again I bought a cheap coins I think someone has transferred the coins from the left pocket to the right pocket someone wants to cause panic .... it is clear that nobody will sell at that price Fair enough. I'm waiting to see if it goes a bit lower before stocking up more. I will be happy enough whichever way the price goes from here in the short term. Long term hold.

Dame Roopatra's two places are my locals, while the Grand Hotel is my choice for fine dining. The town centre is the obelisk IMHO. Quentin Moon 🌙
