181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a best way of taking advantage of BTC dips when away? on: April 07, 2024, 10:00:19 AM
OP, the feature you are looking for doesn't exist, the reason why people leave thousands of dollars on exchanges is for trading purposes, and they place their orders hoping to get filled hours later or weeks later, it's either you buy directly from a centralized exchange or not.

Even if such bots do exist, they are not always safe, they can be used to scam you or take over your computer, I don't like bots, they expose you to greater threats on your computer.

If you are scared of exchanges rug pull there is a solution, go with the top old crypto exchanges, like Binance, and deposit only the amount that you want to use to buy Bitcoin and wait for the orders to fill, even if you travel down to where there is no internet your orders will be filled by the time you get back home.
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About running an online casino vs an offline casino on: April 07, 2024, 09:04:20 AM
I have been thinking about this a lot now and today again, I did the same, it's probably the right time to pour out my mind to my family on this forum, hope in return to get some great answers.

I know that it's not easy to run a casino, hire workers and some professionals and others, my question is. ....

1. Is running offline casinos the same as running an online casino?

2. What do online casinos have to lose if they aren't making as much money as they intended?

3. With online casinos, isn't the number of hiring being limited compared to someone who wants to run an offline casino?

4. Which one is more easier to manage than the other?

And the last question is, which one would you go for if you have the resources?

Offline casinos target the local audience and this doesn't mean they can't be successful, someone once told me that if I want to run a offline casino I should move to Las Vegas, its a base for gamblers and every offline casinos always have customers.

Online casinos have no limit here, it always target world wide audiences, in most parts of the world, this shows that running a online casino can brings more success than an offline casino.

It is also easier to run an online casino by two or three persons, you don't need a large numbers of workers and in fact, online casino is better in this area, you pay fewer workers and you also make more money, in return you get more customers since all they need is your website, not your actual location.
183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do we really need to blame fraudsters on: April 07, 2024, 07:39:28 AM
We cannot blame the fraudsters as they are inhumane and lacks the humanity else they won't be cheating and robbing innocent and foolish people. I think we need to be very cautious but still there are chances users can be fooled at least expected platforms I see everyday people are getting scammed through the fake e-commerce sites and all. This has to be stopped which is possible with only harsh punishment for the preparators else they will keep on figuring out new way to fool us. We need strong cybersecurity and anti scan system in place the scammers should be traced and punished.
If we don't blame them and also hold them responsible how will this bad habit shrink lower? If they don't need to be blamed then it's like we are encouraging them.

If someone is inhumane, and we keep overlooking it, saying we can't blame them, the world will get much worse as time goes on, we need to frown on it so much that if one scammer is apprehended he or she must have the law.

The moment we encourage this habit many youngsters will grow up to be bad hackers and scammers too, so please let's keep blaming them.

Every beginner in the crypto space is new, and that means they are vulnerable, even before they become smarter they are still going to learn and some will have to experience losses first, this is the bitter truth.

I do hope that beginners will choose to learn almost all the importance of keeping digital assets safe first before they decide to start investing, this is the only way that scams can be reduced in the crypto space, but unfortunately, everyone has different emotions and that is the weakness the scammers are craving for.

188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you dispose of a steel plate seed backup? on: March 30, 2024, 05:52:27 AM
This thread sparked a question in my head. Imagine that you are in a situation where you need to dispose of you wallet seed backup, but it is etched on a steel plate - how would you do it? The easiest answer is likely acid, but not everyone has access to it, and depending on the steel plate, it might be even highly resistant to corrosion. Another option is to damage it mechanically - in many of these steel plate products you are supposed to etch the words, so it should be possible to erase them or render unrecognizable. But it's likely hard to do thoroughly and traces of the words could remain.

Any more ideas?
I will do nothing, I do not have to erase or destroy the steel, since I will have move all my funds out of the wallet into a new one, the world is free to have the old recovery seed, I will gladly throw it in a bin, if anyone come across it and they import the seed they will find out that its empty.

Haven't you watch some videos on YouTube where they demonstrate how to create a crypto wallet? They always display the seed, because its for learning purposes only, if you like, go and import the seed, it will be empty anyway.

Why destroy something that's empty? Why spend money on Acid just to destroy a plate that has nothing inside? Abandoned the old steel and throw it out through the window, get a new stainless steel and do your backup.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we still truly achieve anonymous gambling in crypto? on: March 29, 2024, 06:00:49 PM
There is no room for anonymous gambling, many old and new online casinos have tried this, and they all failed, if a casino isn't regulated its more like they are running a shady business, or even a money laundering cartel.

To stay clean they have no choice but to comply, but honestly, I need to ask, what is anonymity in casinos going to give you? Because with every crypto that casinos accepts, you are going to leave behind a track sending from your wallet to the casino account anyway.

You are just trying to put anonymity on something that's not created to function in an anonymous way, From Tron to LTC and many others, they are not privacy coins, you transact using one of these coins you will leave footpath behind.
190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what percentage can a post be described as AI generated? on: March 29, 2024, 01:35:36 PM
This is not a job.

But let's pretend it is for a minute, are you going to use A.I to do your job? No wonder why humans want to replace humans with robots, because so many are lazy asses.

If you don't like typing or discussing you can start reading and say nothing, must you write up anything? People who use A.I tools for engaging in discussions are not suppose yo be on here.

Using AI is spamming, whatever you are about to say isn't genuine anymore, you are just trying to complete some number of posts.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been kicked out of a casino? on: March 29, 2024, 12:04:30 PM
There are things you can do wrong that will make a casino kick you out.

1. You created your casino account from a restricted location.

2. You like to log into your account from different locations, probably using a free VPN, which won't give you a specific or fixed IP address.

3. You break some other rules that you've been warned about in the casino Terms of Services.

This is very common among new gamblers these days, they always become lazy when they see ToS but this long write-up consists of all the do's and don't of gambling, if you don't take your time reading this you will probably do something wrong one day.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the #1 rule you live by in sports betting? on: March 29, 2024, 09:13:25 AM
We read you!
I hope people read this.

Gambling is not a source of income.

This always rings in my head, I have been careful of such ways of making money that's why I get my way with gambling, I use what I can afford to lose and I don't have any reasons to chase losses.

If you can believe that gambling exists to give people some fun time and probably a chance to win at times then everyone will see it in a different way, they will learn to be less dependent on gambling.

Seek for fun/entertainment, not money, you will most of the time fail, but if you aren't expecting to win you can still get lucky too, the fact is do not expect.
193  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Knowledge is the New Gold on: March 28, 2024, 12:15:21 PM
People lose more of their assets to ignorance or a lack of knowledge about the crypto space than to scammers and hackers. Even if there was no risk of a bad guy getting a hold of his phone and stealing his already screenshot seed phrase, what if the phone becomes broken and the data lost, what becomes of the screenshotted seed phrase saved in his gallery assuming he didn't back up his photos to the cloud(which is another terrible way to store your seed phrase). He loses his assets forever.

Also, screenhots should not be allowed on crypto wallet apps. These wallet apps developers are indirectly promoting this reckless behavior.
This reminds me of a brother who had a crypto wallet on his phone and one day the phone fell and stopped working, and he took the phone to a repairer, two bad things happened and I confused him to get the repairer arrested.

1. The repairer told him that the phone couldn't work again and that he should get a new phone.

2. He got a new phone and imported his recovery seed and all his crypto was gone.

This case turned into a police case and since the law agents don't even understand how a crypto wallet works I was there and I shed light into the darkness, it turned out that the repairer stole the crypto assets and sold them all for Fiat, he was granted a bail after he sent all the money back and he also paid some fine too.

Sometimes, some things will happen and that's not because of your own mistakes but because you can't control what's about to happen, all we can do is be prepared for any possibility.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How about your experience in taking part in the same bet with friends? on: March 28, 2024, 11:25:56 AM
I have done crazy things with friends before, crazy game of betting and losing or wining but that was then, the experience is quit fun and entertaining, but now that I am a grown up person, there is many tasks at hand to meet my target, now I have responsibilities, gambling with friends at this age isn't on my list.

Also, all my old friends are no longer living nearby, we now talk on the phone once in a while, they have their homes to look after, families and others, I doubt they will want to us to come together to gamble, they are not gamblers by blood, we only gamble then because we were young.

Maybe if some day, digital identity works like some new projects are gearing up to bring into reality, then we can try new things even while we are all afar from each other, I've been hearing some stuff about metaverse capability, I think it should be possible to make gambling more life like in the future.
195  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling excites you ? on: March 28, 2024, 10:42:40 AM
Hi,

There are always things that we are passionate about doing, such as video games, football, basketball, and sports in general, meaning that everyone has something that excites them and makes them want to do.
Like others, I get very excited when I sit down, take my phone, and start my bets. This does not mean that I am addicted, but rather I find it more comfortable and I have more fun.

Does gambling excites you? What motivates you, winning or just the fun in it ?
Not always, sometimes I get bored and gambling won't come to mind, I will instead go for watching new movies or doing other things.

To me gambling is not a must, I can go weeks without gambling, and when I feel like I have missed gambling the excitement is just so good.

I think this is how it should be with gambling, why gamble when you don't feel like gambling? Unless you depend on gambling to get yourself some food every day, and I bet it's not going to work the way you wanted.

Gamble for the fun part of it, there is nothing left to gain from gambling than this.
196  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why they need a license if bitcon is not money? on: March 28, 2024, 09:13:22 AM
It's fun guys, govs hardly avoid accepting Bitcoin is money, but when it comes to gambling then users are risking money, so, casinos need a license.

Let's be honest, If you can deposit, wager, and withdraw. I don't see where the license is in the process...

Just want to say Fuck Curaçao, the island in the middle of nowhere who decide to take the crypto gambling industry in their hands and make billions of dollars with it. Who the fuck they are to wash money this way?

Crypto gambling needs freedom, and i insist in this point. If you can Deposit, Wager and Widrawal, then you don't need anything else.  And a big shout out to those casinos who still working until now without a license, freebitco.in, Just-Dice.com, bustabit.com... They are big examples of how crypto gambling should be.

I believe it's also important to take into account the influence of blockchain technology on the casino business because blockchain could make it simpler for players to monitor and confirm the fairness of games, potentially making regulation more unnecessary, and I think what you're saying about casinos like FreeBitco.in and Just-Dice.com operating without a license is valid. They've been around for a long and have earned a reputation for being reliable and fair. So, I believe a balance must be achieved between regulating the business and allowing for creative thinking and rivalry. So, I believe it's crucial to remember that gaming is heavily controlled for a reason.
I hope they keep to it, most online casinos also wanted to be like freebitco but along the line they join other popular online casinos that ask for KYC, I have been using freebitco since many years ago and they have never asked me for KYC before, I am impressed, but what if freebitco become as big as Stake some day? Won't that bring attention?

Online casinos can survive and still become successful under the radar without being  noticed, but when the attention gets bigger they might come looking for them, and they can be forced to go same route like big online casinos have done too.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Always check the deposit address on: March 27, 2024, 02:21:02 PM
This is not new warning but I think people might need to be reminded about this after experiencing this personally just now. I recently made a loan using a casino wallet address, I check the wallet address if it’s the same before I ask the loan and I confirmed that it was the same.

The problem comes when the loan is already sent while my casino wallet address update right after the loan amount sent. Take note that I’m using same wallet address since I play to this casino for about 3 years and they just update my wallet address some time after I post my loan request here.

To make the story short. The balance is not credited but after a lengthy discussion with the support and after sending proof that my old wallet address is still the same when I made the deposit(loan) then they recover my funds out of good will.

The lesson here is always check the wallet address before you deposit no matter how long do you use the same address. Most importantly don’t use casino wallet address to receive funds that has a delay such as loan money and campaign payments since there’s a chance that they will update their wallet address without prior notice. Keep safe and have fun.

This must have happened to the majority of people in the crypto space today, I was also a victim too, but the exchange team helped me to solve the problem, but its rare that such happen on a gambling website, because all the online casinos that I have used always have one permanent BTC and other crypto addresses, they have never changed their address before.

I guess many people who are into gambling hardly fall for this because its not common at all, if a casino decide to swap their customers account address they must issue warning to all their users to avoid loss of fund, because there will surely be some gamblers that will keep the old address for faster transaction from one address to another.

Anyway, I guess we need to be cautious from now on, I will stop the habit of not copying the address from the gambling platform every time I want to deposit some BTC into the account, thanks for sharing.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: While placing bet what comes your mind on: March 27, 2024, 01:10:35 PM
Yesterday was trying to place bet and during the process something in me keeps telling me to increase your wager do you know if you would hit something you never won before.. I was like is this how other people are being controlled by gambling or is it how it works? I said, no wonder some people gamble and finishes their allocation for the week or month. This can even lead someone to also go borrow if this feeling is not killed and stop, you can also see that this attributes in gambling addiction.

However, have you had this feeling while gambling before be it offline casino and online casinos?
Every gamblers have this feeling when they want to place bet on games or sports, and most of the time, such sounds are misleading, its better to avoid those thoughts because they are not always helpful, it only increase your chances of getting emotional.

It's better to use your brain than to listen to the voices in your head, nothing should change your mind to increase your wager when gambling, what will happen will still happen, but losing is promised more than winning, the choice is yours.

I choose to always use what I can afford to lose, with no emotions attached, and it's better years already, I have been doing fine either as a winning gambler or a losing gambler, what I throw in gambling isn't going to ever affect me in any way.
199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEWBY MISTAKE. WETH SENT FROM COINBASE WALLET TO COINBASE on: March 27, 2024, 12:08:49 PM
Wow, this isn't good news at all, because there is a very slim chance that you will ever get your WETH back, I've only got lucky once when I sent the wrong crypto to an ETH address on an exchange, the team helped me out even though the exchange was new, I wasn't expecting to ever get it back.

I do hope that the team will help, but the chances are slim, next time always be sure that the exchange supports the coin that you want to deposit, first of all, Wrapped ETH is different from ETH, the majority of exchanges these days don't support WETH, always check first before proceeding.

I hope you get help somehow, many people have lost their assets this way, the team should be able to help but most of them won't, it's a good excuse to run away with your assets since you are the one who makes the mistake.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: March 27, 2024, 11:12:08 AM
When lottery is free, expect a lot of people to try their luck and your chances of winning will go lower and lower as many more people onboard.

I don't like lottery, it makes one to be more addicted to easy way of making money, I prefer a more realistic way to make money and the minimal that I can try is normal gambling, if no luck comes I am fine.

I don't have the intent of making big money from gambling, I am fine with simple gambling, using small amount of money, nothing can go wrong using this gambling strategy, lottery will never be my own position in anyway, good luck to all lottery hunters out there.
